I had a great experience both times. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Dr did a faboulas job. He explains everything to you as he's working on you. He asks you to breath and it works to calm you down. I recommend him very highly. Thank you all Madonna

I had a veneer fall off on a Saturday Morning. Dr James Spurgeon and his team went above and beyond to get me taken care of right away -when no other Dentist offices were open over the weekend. Since that experience I changed Drs have been seeing him for almost 2 years. He is knowledgeable, fair and a straight shooter . His team is wonderful and caring. .Thank you Prescott Dental Center!

Unprofessional, incompetent office and dentist. This place says they do oral surgery on the phone and then when you get their they say it's not. What a waste of time. Had an appointment for oral surgery wisdom tooth to be extracted was told it could be taken out over the phone and then to find out he cant... never again will i trust this place for accurate information.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Spurgeon for 5 years. The staff is friendly and attentive and Dr. Spurgeon is extremely professional, caring and addresses our dental needs with the utmost of expertise. I highly recommend him.

I recently relocated from NY (Westchester County) to Prescott, AZ. While out having dinner (Mexican Food) with my family, my tooth starting hurting really bad when chewing. I can't tell you how much this freaked me out. I'm so afraid of going to the dentist, let alone finding a new one that would not rip me off so I called around to a few places in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Prescott Dental Center was the only place that offered a FREE no obligation check up with FREE x-rays too. At the exam/checkup, I was given options and decided to have my wisdom tooth removed. The pricing was reasonable ($300), but I was really worried that something would go wrong. I was convinced that the experience would be PAINFUL. I have to say that I was so pleasantly surprised that my tooth was extracted in 5 minutes, and I experienced only the slightest discomfort. There was no pain, and I healed up in a few days. I'm writing this review after a few weeks and I'm so happy I chose this dentist. I will be returning with comfort and confidence. Dr. Spurgeon was incredibly professional, confident and informative. I highly recommend this dentist.

Was told to come in for a no cost follow-up from some dental works, 6 weeks ago. When came in they did another cleaning and charged me. Not at all what the appointment was set up for or what they said they would do. They did a great cleaning 6 weeks ago and this on was not necessary. And now I'm being charged for what I was told was No Cost. Suggest you get cost and in writing before going in back.

Overcharged and until we received our Explanation of Benefits from insurance, we weren't informed. I had to call, repeatedly do the math with Anna over the phone, she finally found where they had billed for two exams instead of one. 3 business days later, still waiting on Anna to call back and refund. Update: Started calling 9/20 - finally resolved after much frustration and arguing on 9/24. Will not be going back and will certainly not recommend to ANYONE. In fact I'm spreading the word where I work and to my friends - unconcerned office staff don't have any sense of urgency once they've got hold of your money.

Before seeing Dr. Spurgeon I was very afraid of Dentistry. Not any longer their friendly caring approach has me "Smiling" again.

This is a top notch dental practice! Dr Spurgeon has been my dentist for over 7 years. I have had issues for many years with my teeth due to poor dental care when I was in my teens. He has gradually helped me get my teeth back to good condition and is ALWAYS very fair with recommendations and pricing. A few years I moved to Phoenix and went to a dentist there who quoted me over $5000 to fix some issues with my teeth. After coming back up to see Dr Spurgeon he said 80% of what they quoted wasn't necessary. He has earned my business 10x over, I highly recommend him and his team. As long as I live in AZ, this will be where I go!

This is one of the most efficiently run medical/dental practices in Prescott; staffed with courteous, professional people who make you feel like you're the #1 patient of the day. I have never had more than a couple of minutes' wait time upon arrival - and when seated in the dental chair. Dr. Spurgeon is also super-efficient and listens carefully to concerns and keeps your comfort (while in the dental chair) a top priority. I highly recommend their practice for dental needs. ;)
