My profession means the world to me. It motivates me and drives me to continue to reach higher and farther. I love getting up and going to work every morning because of all the great people I know I will come in contact with. The diversity of my patient base reminds me why this country is so great. There is so much to learn from people in terms of culture and experiences, and I wouldn't trade what I do for anything. Getting to know my patients is greatly fulfilling to me, and the most important reward I receive is seeing their joyful smiles at the end of their orthodontic journey.
I am passionate about helping people understand the benefits to orthodontic treatment besides just achieving a beautiful smile. While that is important, having straight teeth is also essential to proper function, health, and confidence.
Continuing education is especially important because it allows me to stay aware of the latest treatment techniques and determine whether or not it will have an application in my practice. I focus on providing the most efficient, effective treatments, such as the Damon System, and participate in focused training regarding that technology. My passion for staying up to date means my patients can expect to receive the highest quality and most advanced care in my office.
I am very fortunate to have come from a close-knit family, with everyone living within 30 minutes of one another. We are all avid sports fans and love spending time together. When I'm not at work, I'm usually watching movies or sports, exercising or reading. I also love to travel. My favorite non-work related activity is exploring new places; it is thrilling to try different foods and activities, and Im always up for an adventure.
I am dedicated to spreading the value of education by talking with and mentoring young people. I am involved in community health outreach programs as well as job fairs and youth education. I love having the opportunity to pass on what I have learned to someone else.

Cost-efficient compared to other DC-area orthodontists. Also, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. The office is immaculately clean and organized. Anyway, see for yourself by checking them out I recently finished my treatment and loving my smile.

Dr. Ngwafon is an amazing Orthodontic and his staff was always friendly and accommodating. Both of my boys were in treatment he took the time to explain the process step by step. He has a great bedside manner and the boys enjoyed working with him. We are extremely happy with the results.

DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE!! Find some place else for your orthodontist needs. We lived in Gaithersburg and it was a long commute. My son was maybe 5 minutes late to 2-3 appointments but we had the decency to call when on the way. He was told to come in and still be seen. One day he was turned back and told he was dismissed from the practice. Still until today 3yrs later no other orthodontist will see my son. They all tell me he needs to go back to where he originally put the braces on so he canhave them removed. He tried to make appointments a few times They refused to see him , and today i was told there will be an $800 fee to remove them. Go elsewhere. Edit to add to the response Not writing because im upset just writing to warn other people. Not upset just busy battling cancer and just found out i can review a business (not tech savvy).At first everything is unicorns and rainbows in your office. Also 5 minutes 10 minutes whatever but he was always within the 15mns grace period thats why he was always told to go in.

They literally never answer the phone and if they do it's on rare occasions. They always claim I'm the reason I'm missing my appointments but that's only because they never pick up their phone, especially during their business hours. I would call 24 hours in advance like my appointment slip states and they refuse to answer. Fix this please. This is unprofessional. Btw, don't say I'm not a patient because the director knows me very well.

Awesome staff and the Dentist is amazing. They answer all my questions before they worked on me and my kids. After my work is done I always leave in laughter. I would definitely recommend this orthodontics to anyone looking for a good Dentist. I am a current patient along with my 2 kids since 2018. They take excellent safety measures during Covid that I feel confident and comfortable to bring myself and kids during this pandemic. Dr. N and staff you guys rock!
