Dr. Kumar actually joined the dental field relatively late in life, when she was in her mid-thirties and had two kids. She was looking for a new way to contribute to society in a positive manner while using her knowledge and energy to truly help others. Eventually, she realized that dentistry was a great fit for her passions! Today, shes thrilled to be leading the team at Premier Walk-In Dental and caring for patients who need compassionate treatment in a timely manner. Above all else, she wants to help each person who walks through the front door regain the excellent dental health they deserve.
Dr. Kumar grew up in a coastal town in the southern part of India with five siblings. She achieved her Bachelor of Architecture at Mangalore University before getting married and deciding to move to the United States. Shes called Brevard County her home for the past 20 years! After completing a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, she decided to pursue her dental doctorate at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Beyond dental school, Dr. Kumar continues to be a lifelong learner, just like her family of teachers taught her. She regularly participates in advanced training courses while also contributing to academic journals and various research papers.

I have extreme dental anxiety to the point where I neglected my teeth for years. Dr. Kumar and her staff are wonderful, patient, compassionate professionals. They listen and don't try to upsell things you don't want or need. They are upfront about fees with no hidden surprises. They present options. They make sure that the experience is as painless as possible. I will be returning to her for help with my dental issues and highly recommend her to anyoone who values honesty and compassion in a dentist. Her staff is also pretty great too. Wonderful place, good people. Can't say enough good things about them. 10 stars

They seem to be very confused and unorganized I was given repeated x-rays and they couldn't keep up with my paper work or didn't care to look for it. After a long waited for this appointment I was really disappointed that I wasted 3 hours for just to get repeated x-rays and to be scheduled for more of the same x-rays that would probably be lost again

I had a dental emergency, my regular dentist couldn't see me, and they recommended I go to Premier Dental. I went that day, was seen by Dr. Kumar and she treated me right away. Dr. Kumar and her staff were very nice and compassionate to me. I highly recommend Premier Dental. Thank you Dr. Kumar and staff.

I have gone to. Premier several Yrs now . Excellent service . Dr. Kumar is a great Dentist . I've had 2 partials from there. Rates are the best ! The staff all lovely and helpful! Marybeth

An excruciating molar toothache, ultimately a same-day extraction, led me to Premier. After calling all around the Cocoa/Cocoa Beach/Merritt Island area, NO other dentist could or would see me that day, regardless of my insurance ... and my tooth pain dictated to me that I needed to get in THAT day. From the moment I called Premier, they put me at ease, got me in within hours and remedied my problem. I was thrilled to learn they are a full-service practice, in addition to taking emergency walk-ins. The dentist(s) and staff here are non-judgmental, professional and compassionate - NEVER before in my 55 years of (negative) dental experiences did I dream I would find a dentist that I'm SO HAPPY with(!) I had 3 teeth removed and this was by far the absolute best dentist experience I've ever had...from the moment I walked thru the door until I walked out EVERYONE was extremely kind...I will definitely be back for the rest of the work I need done

Crown came off. Tried my dentist and two others to get emergency appt. Couldn't get in. Decided to drive to Premiere. Not busy. In and out in just over an hour. Professional and friendly. Clean, well equipped. Didn't try to upsell any unneeded services. Dentist was very nice and very skilled. All in all an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

You've probably heard this before, or read it among the many reviews here. So allow me to add my thank you and gratitude for a Dental Staff that not only treat you as a patient, for which they take great care, they treat you as a friend, and not just another customer for their service. Doctor Kumar and her staff are kind, considerate and they care about you while in their care. For me this was a two prong visit, I went in with a tooth that was causing me extreme pain, so much so, it refused to go numb on the first visit, but following the Dentist instructions to the letter, the pain actually went away (completely) the day before my next visit, at which time, she was able to extract the tooth without a problem. If you are looking for a great dentist, who does excellent work, who cares about your condition, and does whatever she can to make it right, then please go to Premier Walkin Dental in Rockledge, You won't be sorry, the Office is clean, and quiet in spite of all the work going on it's a joyful place to visit, and it smells so nice. Doctor Kumar, if you read this, thank you and your wonderful staff for making my morning in your office, less painful. I look to see you with all my future dental needs

A week ago I call my dentist and almost every dentist in Rockledge and viera that would not take me in same day and even though this office did not take my insurance, I was desperate and the price to be seen was very reasonable. I have major anxiety disorder and I'm not a fan of the dentist but I had an exposed nerve in my molar and it was in the worst pain of my life. The staff here was absolutely amazing to me. I think the receptionist was Jennifer (I hope I got her name right) but she was so caring and inviting and made me feel comfortable. Absolutely loved her. I was brought back by Ray who instantly made me feel so much better and eased my anxiety by empathizing with me about my anxiety. He was just amazing and a good energy to be around. The doctor was very knowledgeable and patient with me and accommodating. The entire staff was non judgmental and didn't rush me when I had issues with my gag reflex for the X-ray part. I have always felt like people get frustrated with me at the dentist but this office exceeded my expectations. I wish I had the right insurance so I could go here regularly. I've considered changing it for sure after this. Thank you so much to the staff and doctor!

I cracked my tooth this morning and called my regular dentist and they could not get me in until the end of August. So I went to premier walk-in dental and they took care of me... Very good care of me!... I am a real scaredy-cat when it comes to anything dental and they were very friendly and made me feel less anxious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I'm going back there on a regular basis now!

Be careful with cancer patients and survivors of this dentist. I was told by her she would extract a broken tooth when I showed up she ask me to get authorization from my doctor since I was having immunotherapy. This I never heard of and charged me 95.00 for a consultation when I was told that I would be getting extraction. The only reason I can think she didn't pull my teeth with an excuse like that was because I had cancer or I'm a black male. I'm asking for my money back.

DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOUR TEETH PERIOD!!!!! I had 2 crowns glued back on upper front and was told it would cost $300 but when it came to pay them, they said it was $300 per tooth for a total of $600. I was in shock and 3 months later they are loose again. I called around for gluing 2 crowns and the average cost was $80. each. Also my wife went there to get a crown done and cost her $1600. I checked also for crowns and the total cost was $850 period. Also she had to go back because it came loose after 2 weeks. I'm getting my 2 teeth glued again for $79. period.

My husband had neglected his teeth for years because he did not want to go to a dentist. When he got a severe toothache and was forced to find a dentist quickly, we found Dr.Kumar. She and all of the staff are great, so caring and nice. They assess the situation and give you a treatment plan and explain every detail and the cost. The work is done very professionally and compassionately, they simply do the work that needs to be done and they never judge or tell you that you need work done that you don't or add on other things to bring the cost up like some places do. My husband and I are so very happy that we found Dr. Kumar and now he looks forward to going to his dentist and taking care of his teeth. Thank you Dr. Kumar and staff for making the dentist visits a pleasure.

I developed a toothache and was able to get right in within a few hours. After a quick X-ray and exam the tooth was found to be infected and unsalvageable, it had to be extracted. I was given enough anesthesia so that a difficult extraction was as painless as possible. I felt nothing until the anesthesia wore off and Tylenol worked fine at that point. The staff was friendly, supportive and reassuring. As toothaches go the outcome was a good one. I would recommend this practice wholeheartedly!

Came in because of terrible pain, 2 wisdom teeth extracted quickly. I was out door in 90 min or less and feeling better. Super friendly staff! They don't judge, they just help.

Put in one filling and cost $450.00 dollars. The filling only lasted 2 or 3 years and fell out. Asked to replace the filling for free and was told $150.00 for the ex ray and another $300.00 to refill it. Go somewhere else don't waste your money with this place.
