The profession of orthodontics is extremely fulfilling to me. I describe it as a beautiful gift that we have, and our goal is to share it with as many people as possible. I believe an amazing smile should not only be available to the affluent or the rich, but to all who want to feel confident when they walk into a room, or interview for a job, or ask someone on a date. Our motto and true belief is The road to self-confidence starts with a Premier Smile!

I take so much joy and pride in helping people of all ages become the most confident version of themselves. When you can personally change how peoplefeelabout themselves and its for the better, there is no greater feeling I can imagine!

In addition to being an adjunct professor at Case Western Dental School, I regularly continue my own education in the fields of dentistry and orthodontics. Everything in life changes, and dentistry especially orthodontics is no exception. I want to offer my patients the latest technology and the most advanced treatments, to give them the best results possible and the best customer experience possible!

I love to travel and spend time with my family. Going to faraway places such as Africa, Costa Rica, and Venezuela, and being exposed to different cultures, is such an eye-opening experience, and a great way to learn a lot about oneself. I believe that we as humans all have the same hopes and dreams, yet how we live our day-to-day lives is what makes us special and unique. I speak four languages and am always looking for the next adventure.

I am personally involved in numerous community programs and volunteer activities. However, I am most proud of our scholarship program that has been in existence for more than ten years. I believe that education is the great equalizer, and offering college scholarships is one of the most important things we can do to improve the lives of the young people in our community.

I love making people feel great about their smile! It is so rewarding to get to know my patients and watch them grow as people. When they thank me for their new smiles, I often tell them that thanking me is like paying me twice!

Originally from Detroit, I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1982 with a Master of Science in biomedical engineering and in 1984 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I also attended the University of Detroit, where I earned a Master of Science in orthodontics in 1986. Five years later, I opened a private practice in University Heights, where I served the orthodontic needs of the greater Cleveland area.

I am a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry and taught orthodontic residents there from 1995 to 2001. I currently teach dental hygienists about oral hygiene for the orthodontic patient, and general dentists about early orthodontic treatments.

I am fascinated by orthodontic and medical innovation and developing new techniques in both fields. I hold three patents and have co-authored articles published in scientific journals. I regularly attend conferences in the field of orthodontia in order to make the latest advances in orthodontics available to my patients.

I am passionate about the people in my life my family, fiance, and friends and generally being the best person that I can be. An avid runner, I can be found running or walking on the Beachwood trail, hiking, and cross-country skiing in my free time.

Orthodontics is a special field that allows me to transform peoples lives by helping them achieve a smile they can be proud of for the rest of their lives. My goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional experience when he or she comes to our office. There is nothing better than witnessing the joy and excitement our patients experience when their braces are taken off!

I attended Nova Southeastern University, and graduated in 2010 with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I completed a one-year advanced education in general dentistry program through the US Army in Ft. Benning, Georgia, and practiced general dentistry for six years before deciding to become a specialist. To complete my training, I attended Montefiore Medical Center for my certificate in orthodontics.

By attending yearly AAO conferences and continuing education in the latest treatments such as Invisalign, I am able to provide the most advanced and up-to-date technology and techniques to provide the best quality of care. My patients deserve nothing but the best, and continually updating my knowledge allows me to deliver just that!

I currently live in Beachwood with my wife, who is a physician, and our two boys, Max and Mickey. In my free time, I enjoy going to the movies, trying new restaurants in Cleveland, traveling, and playing sports with my boys.

Every day, I look forward to interacting with patients and determining how orthodontic treatment can help them meet their specific goals. I enjoy explaining each treatment plan with my patients and their families so they thoroughly understand and are comfortable with the process.

Witnessing each patients confidence begin to blossom, as hisor herbegins to change, is very rewarding. Along with the rest of our knowledgeable and friendly team, I strive to make my patients orthodontic treatment a pleasant, comfortable, and memorable experience that will last a lifetime.

I am a board-certified orthodontist. I began my formal education at Damascus University in Syria, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and completed a postgraduate program in orthodontics. Upon moving to the US, I attended Maryland University in Baltimore for a fellowship in orthodontics, and West Virginia University for my Master of Science in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

I am passionate about innovation and technology, especially in orthodontics. It is essential that every professional stay abreast of developments in the field; and in oral health, there are always new technologies and treatment methodologies. Continuous education empowers me to provide my patients with the best care options available.
