Dr. Jin Chung enjoys providing preventative and comprehensive restorative dentistry in the Hayward community. Due to his strong commitment to continuing education and extensive experience in many fields of dentistry, Dr. Jin is able to offer the highest level of dental care. He focuses on treating dental problems early to prevent extensive and costly treatments later. He is a member of American Dental Society, California Dental Association and Southern Alameda County Dental Society.
Dr. Jin is originally from Southern California. He earned his dental degree from USC and also holds a degree in Biochemistry from UCLA. He also resided in different cities during his time in the U.S. Navy. Now, East Bay is his home, and he looks forward to serving you as your dentist.
In 1995, after 8 years of practicing General Dentistry, Dr. Steve Chang decided to follow his desire for further education and entered the advanced education program at the University of Pennsylvania. Since graduating in 1998, he has practiced periodontics in the Bay area, including 17 years at his private practice. He continues to live in San Jose and practice in the Bay area albeit on a shorter schedule. He continues to have the zeal for the practice of periodontics and loves the personal contact he establishes with his patients.
Dr. Trans passion for orthodontics began from her own treatment in braces when she was a teenager. Having experienced first hand how orthodontics can transform a persons smile and boost ones confidence, she is excited to provide that service to her own patients to help them reveal their beautiful smiles. Dr. Tran received her undergraduate degree from the University of the Pacific. She graduated with top honors with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She also studied abroad in Spain where she learned Spanish and studied Spanish cuisine.
Dr. Tran completed her dental education at UCLA School of Dentistry. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Tran completed her Masters in Orthodontics and Dentalfacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University. In her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include staying active, exercising and traveling.

I had to have 2 teeth pulled because of an infection. I have a fear of needles and the assistant was so kind to let me squeeze her hand while the doctor was injecting my gums. The doctor was so nice. Definitely made me feel at ease. Had my second appointment and it went well. The staff are so welcoming and compassionate.

I've been to this dental office for years, I really enjoy the services there. Staffs are extremely friendly; Jin is so nice and professional. I highly recommend Premier Family Dental. Even I moved to another city now, I still make the effort to go back to PFD, this is how much I like them.

Premier Family Dental is amazing and I would recommend them to everyone!!!! They were so nice, considerate, and understanding to everything I needed and wanted. They gave great care, service and understanding. They explained every step, what I needed and how they can help and gave various options for me to choose from..... Their service was top of the line..... I am so glad I made the appointment. Dr Jinn, Amy & Deanna were very kind. I appreciated their concern and willingness to help me with my last minute emergency. Checking in was very simple and there was no wait time between the time I arrived and the time I saw the dentist. She was both knowledgeable and gentle and the whole experience was very pleasurable. She used a lot of diagnostic tests that helped narrow down my issue. And I felt very safe. Not something I usually say about dentist visits!

I've been with Premier Family Dental for almost 4 years now. Love their attention to patients and great care. I have had a variety of dental needs - some that I could afford and some that I cannot. PFD has worked with me along the way to attend to my dental needs and I look forward to being with them in the future! No complaints.
