Albert L Granger, DDS has been recognized asNY Top Dentists for his commitment to excellence in Endodontics. In addition to being the founding partner of Premier Endodontics of Long Island, Dr. Granger is a former Assistant Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Ashish Sahasra began his education by receiving his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Cornell University. He continued his dental training by graduating cum laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. With a passion for endodontics, Dr. Sahasra completed his residency in Endodontics from New York University.
Before becoming an Endodontist, Dr. Rahul Gupta practiced as a general dentist. Dr. Gupta received his Endodontic training from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, his Dental School training from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in New York, and his B.S. in Biochemistry form State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Following a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Toronto, Dr. Ko received her DDS from New York University College of Dentistry and completed a training in General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Dr. Elliot J Fidler has been in private practice limited to Endodontics since 1980. He merged practices with Premier Endodontics of Long Island in March of 2020. With almost 40 years of experience as an endodontist, treating out of the local Plainview area.
Following her dental degree, she completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx. Dr. Huh worked as a general dentist for a few years, where she developed passion in endodontics. She completed an endodontics fellowship at Montefiore hospital in Bronx, and then continued her specialty training in endodontics at New York University.
Dr. Ammons obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Chicago State University. After completing dental school, he pursued further education and training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at NYU Langone Dental Medicine (formerly known as Lutheran Medical Center) and a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City.
Dr. Scott Park completed his Bachelor of Science with honors from Trinity College, University of Toronto in Human Biology and Physiology. Following his Bachelors Dr. Park went on to the University of Pennsylvania (U Penn) and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) graduating at the top of his class.
Dr. Jablow has been selected as a TopDentist field of Endodontics on Long Island. He is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry where he graduated with honors and is a member of OKU honor society. He is a former Associate Director of Endodontics, and an Attending at Nassau University Medical Center for over 30 years.
Dr. Hasan is a Los Angeles native. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University-Los Angeles. Afterwards, he relocated to Washington, DC where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry.
After graduation, he continued his pursuits in advanced training through general practice residencies at Saint Elizabeths Hospital (Washington, DC) and Rochester Regional Health (New York). It was during these efforts that his interest in the prevention and treatment of odontogenic pain matured into a passion for endodontology.
Dr. Eric Shon grew up in Bergen County, NJ and graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Shon worked at the National Institutes of Health before pursuing a career in dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Shon was drawn to the field of endodontics. After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), he remained at Columbia University to pursue post-graduate training in endodontics. He is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Rachel Kalman graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Psychology before pursuing a career in endodontics. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine and her specialty training in Endodontics from the University of Connecticut.
While at the University of Connecticut, she was selected as chief resident. Additionally, she enjoyed teaching dental students and performing endodontic research as part of her Masters in Dental Science.
Dr. Ju, was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University New Brunswick where he graduated with a B.A. degree in Biological Sciences with minor in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ju received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2019 and continued to pursue his passion for the Endodontics specialty at the institution.
Dr. Granger is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry class of 1987 and the post Graduate Endodontic program at Columbia University class of 1993. In 2007 he completed the Implant Maxi Course at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Granger is very involved in the community and the dental society. He served as a City Councilman for the City of Glen Cove, N.Y. from 1994 to 2005 and presently serves on the Board of Trustees for Elizabethtown College and the North Well Hospital System. Dr. Granger was President of the Nassau County Dental Society in 2012. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State and Nassau County Dental Societies the National Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
His work over the years has earned him honors in clinical research and community health promotion. In 2020, Dr. Ashish was awarded Top Dentist, by Top Doc and named Top Endodontist, by Continental Whos Who in recognition for excellence in his field.
He has served on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Dental Society and as the General Chairman of the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting (GLIDM) in 2019. He is also a lifetime member of MENSA and an alumni member of Tau Kappa Episilon Fraternity. Now, as a partner at Premier, Dr. Sahasra has dedicated his career to serving the community in which he has spent the majority of his career.
Dr. Gupta is a member of American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and American Association of Endodontics. Dr. Gupta is also a board member with Nassau County Dental Society.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Gupta has performed research projects in the field of root canal at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Gupta also teaches Dental residents in the field of Endodontics at Coney Island Hospital. Dr. Gupta is very involved in the community by helping in events like Give Kids A Smile to help the children, and other dental/social related causes. He also has received numerous academic honors, as well as having research published in Journal of Endodontics.

My visit with Dr. Gupta was incredible. He and his staff made sure I was okay and explained every step throughout the process. My root canal turned out to be complicated and he was extremely thorough, patient, and really took his time with me. I can't say enough good things about this dentist and the level of care I received. I won't be going anywhere else!

Dr. Gupta and staff are absolutely the best around. I am terribly afraid of the dentist and even more afraid of getting a root canal done. I told everyone this coming in and they did everything in thier power to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Listened to me when I said I have a hard time getting numb from the novocaine and made sure I was completely numb before proceeding. I had two root canals done in the same day and being honest with how much care they took with me I could have done a third. Everything I asked of them they did for me and I could not be happier. I'm no longer in pain and I'm on route to a nice smile again. Thank you for taking the fear I had in the dentist away.

Terrible service, they treated you like only their time mattered. I scheduled my appointment for the end of July, and out of nowhere, I got a phone call saying my appointment got postponed to the end of August because Dr has an "emergency". I respected that and I said ok. Then by the time I was on my way to the appointment, stuck in traffic, I was informed yet again, that the Dr can not perform the procedure for me within this limited amount of time and I need to wait for another month for the appointment. Seriously??? No one ever informed me how time is the matter when my appointment is being delayed for months and months but one second you are stuck in traffic there's no excuse??? W.O.W

Dr Granger and Danielle were nothing short of phenominal. I was overcome with anxiety. Literally, having an open window in the room helped a great deal. They also saw I was very anxious and didn't make me feel bad about it one bit. Instead, they cracked a couple of jokes before they started and made me feel better. I experienced a little bit of pain in the beginning, told them, and they hit me with another shot which made the rest of the procedure painless. Grateful for these folks here, highly highly recommend. Thank You Premier

To All dental patients needing root canals. I strongly suggest that you look up Dr Ammons at premier endodontics in Medford. Prior to seeing Dr Ammons, I unfortunately had double root canals done by a dental office which I've been going to for several years but have had a terrible experience with pain and infection and decided to look for an endodontist in my area and I'm so happy that I ended up at premiere endodontics with Dr Ammons. After a consultation he agreed to accept me as a patient and seeing that I was in pain and in trouble and assisted me in doing what was necessary to relieve me of pain and complete work that was totally necessary. I strongly recommend premier endodontics I am pain free and on my way to further my dental needs if required by premier endodontics John C

I am absolutely disgusted by the low level of professionalism in the Patchogue office. The dental assistant was beyond rude and abrasive about personal issues. She was dismissive to me and my requests, continuing to dig at me the entirety of the appointment. I would rather pay $2000 out of pocket for a root canal elsewhere than go to this establishment for my care. I have never felt so disrespected and belittled before in my life in a healthcare facility. For your own sake, find care elsewhere!

Was not so thrilled to walk into the office as a new patient and after signing in I am asked - SO how will you be paying your balance of $450. As a Professional, the office should have the courtesy to contact patients BEFORE the appointment to discuss the financials not covered by Dental insurance. When i was sent to them i was told they take my insurance so i was not thinking i had to pay a large amount Before i even had my work done or even met the Dr. Services should be billed to the insurance company FIRST THEN when an EOB has been received back form the Insurance , THAT will then State patient responsibility to the exact amount due. I almost walked out But i did not want to wait any longer to have this taken care of. Physician and staff inside that took care of me were great and very nice. he did a great job, felt no pain. I know we are only another $$$ to the company BUT in the long run, you will lose customers. What if i did not have that kind of money at the moment ? would i have been sent away ? after waiting weeks for my appointment ? Medical administrator of the office should RE DO some protocols on this situation.

VERY PAINFUL.... over medicates but still not numb enough, threatening to do what was not requested because he did not want me to make noise, encouraged me to swallow decayed dental fluid which I did not! The dental assistant was there holding the oral vaccuum right in front of him. I was gurgling dental fluid! NEVER AGAIN!!! I sat in my car crying for almost an hour because I could not drive. I was in serious pain. I have a total of four Root Canals and this was the WORST!

The most incompetent, & extremely rude receptionist at the front desk. My appointment was cancelled because of a storm. It was rescheduled but was never written in the book. When I arrived for my appointment, I was given another appointment for a month later because of the rude girl not writing it in the book. I also left an expensive scarf in the office & called, they said it would be put away for me. When I arrived to pick it up there was no sign of it, and no one knew where it was. I was so put off by the rudeness that I decided to go elsewhere & was very happy about my decision. If you like incompetence, being lied to & spoken to like they're above you, well then this is the place for you. Referring to The Patchogue location. Good Luck !!

These people took me in without an appointment for a root canal that couldn't wait any longer. The staff was very professional as I waited in their very clean waiting room. Once I was called in the entire procedure lasted less then 30 minutes, the nurse and doctor were very nice as they explained things to me which I appreciated immensely. Excellent work by an excellent team. Not even 24 hours later and my mouth feels 100% better, no pain at all, my hats off to you! thank you

Dr. Ammons was a truly special doctor. I was in al ot of pain from an infection and needed RE-treatment of an old root canal. They booked my appointment for 9am the following day, I walked in to an extremely clean office, didn't wait for even a minute and was taken in right away. They explained the cost of every procedure throughout the process. Overall, the whole office was incredible. I would highly recommend them!
