My visit was fine for the most part. Dr. Sleilati saw me. But I was a bit concerned and conflicted looking back on my experience. I came in for a root canal, when the procedure was done I was told I'd feel a "little pain" from them "poking around" and I could possibly eat right away. Personally I would never eat right away after a dental procedure. On my drive home the pain became unbearable I was hysterical crying. The pain was so bad I called the dentist office crying to see if my script was sent. The woman that answered was very helpful. I was hysterical she asked surprisingly "They didn't give you Motrin before you left"? I replied "no".... This seems very subtle and harmless but often people of color are perceived to "feel less pain". Conversations around this issues are now becoming more common. I never know how to gauge these subtleties, so I will allow you all to make your own conclusions based on the details above.... Lastly this morning I found I was supposed to get a follow up appointment... Which is standard for a root canal procedure... I was never given a follow up, it was not mentioned to me. Not okay.

And tried to charge more for canal

I had a root canal done by one of the female doctors (forgot her name sorry!) and it went so great. I had a fear of getting root canals done but the dental assistant Tanya and the doctor were really great at explaining what was going to happen and what I would be feeling. I felt comfortable and they were very attentive to me. They even made sure to give me pain medication right after. It's the next after my root canal and there's no pain at all! I definitely recommend!

I recently had a root canal retreatment completed with Dr. Eunchong Ju. I was a little nervous at first but I was very pleased with the experience from start to finish. I was astonished by Dr. Ju's treatment. Visiting for dental treatment always had been a nightmare and hard for me to endure pain during treatments. However, Dr.Ju's entire procedure was painless and even his kind explanation in a careful tone soothed my tension during the treatment. Also, I've had a bad history with medical doctors who used to not listen carefully to my symptoms and situation but Dr. Ju's phenomenal professionalism as genuine and careful attitude made me feel secure. It's been a month since Dr. Ju's treatment and I don't feel any pain so far! It was such an honor that I received from a profound doctor. I must be really lucky that I chose Premier Endodontics of Long Island and met Dr. Ju! I will definitely return to Dr. Ju for my future root canals!

I called over to office today in so much pain, face swollen. Receptionist was nice enough to tell me to come in immediately that one of the 3 doctors would handle seeing me today.. I have used Dr. Choi in the past she was terrific, very nice & friendly so I was a little apprehensive to get someone different. I ended up getting Dr. Gupta.. from the moment he walked in he was super friendly explained everything to me & made sure I felt comfortable with the entire process. Great staff all around thank you :) Jessica C

Absolutely awful on many levels. My daughter had a root canal 2 years ago and that went fine. She had some pain recently and needed to go back to have the same tooth worked on. Whoever answered the phones was beyond rude. More concerned with collecting money than actually confirming what insurance would pay for. My daughter ended up having an infection and needed antibiotics. Infection never really went away. She developed an abscess and was seen as an emergency patient. Dr. Hassan was beyond rude to a hysterical teenage girl and made her cry even more. He did not identify that there was an abscess and dismissed her and told us she needed the tooth pulled. We went to to the practice thst was going to do the extraction at a different practice. That dentist was amazing and drained the abscess and put my daughter on antibiotic. Tremendously different experience. Worst experience ever from start to finish. Nothing Premier about this endodontist. You don't speak to a teenage girl the way that doctor spoke to my daughter today.

They have to get better service at the front desk. I called their East Meadow office several times to make an appointment, but could not get through to anyone (this should have been my clue to avoid them) ended up calling and scheduling an apoyar their Garden City offices. I waited 1:30 to be seen- you know how it goes "you are next" "it should only be another 10-15 minutes." When I finally had enough, they told me that they were cleaning up the room. Then another 10 minutes for the Dr to come in after x-rays. The whole ordeal took 2 hours!! Of which only 15-20 were actual needed for X-rays and the actual consultation. The doctor was nice enough, friendly and professional. Maybe if I had schedule a first appointment?

I recently went to Premier Endodontics and this office was extremely clean and very modern. I was seen by Dr. Scott Park. From the moment we met and he started explaining and showing me on the monitor exactly what the issue was, and his plans for fixing it I knew I was in good hands! Additionally, when I had my last root canal a very long time ago it took 2-3 sessions to complete it so I was thrilled that this was completed in one appointment!! His assistant, Ashley was wonderful as well - very upbeat, professional and funny. This 5-Star review was earned for Dr. Park's expertise and terrific bedside manner which definitely MATTERS.

Dr. Ha performed a retreatment on a failed root canal. During my consultation she educated me on my options and walked me through the procedure. She did her best to relieve my anxiety about the procedure. Dr. Ha performed my retreatment with no pain, she was gentle and constantly checked in with me during the procedure. She performed the retreatment in two sessions. She has great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr.Ha!!!

Dr. Granger was great! I needed a root canal because my back tooth broke. When I walk into the office, it was clean and the receptionist was great as well. The procedure took 30-40 mins give or take. I was a little nervous with everything I was feeling and seeing but I did not feel any type of pain at all.

My memory is kind of fuzzy now that it's been so long. I am pretty sure My DDS' name is Joe Sleilati,I THINK. I literally had the best experience ever. Since I was a kid i've always been terrified of dental procedures, none more so than the root canal. Coming in for my appointment I was so anxious I forgot my mask. I had to wear my motorcycle helmet in.. awkward. Anyway front desk was nice enough to provide me with one. I didn't wait long before I was seen by the doc and his assistant. I forgot her name, SORRY! She was a lovely young asian girl. IDK why that felt weird to type lol but thats pretty much all i remember. She saw how anxious i was and i remember this well, threw the xray cover over me and said that it should help with my anxiety and act as a weighted blanket. Super smart and sweet. It absolutely helped and if you happen to read this, THANK YOU! Once i saw the doc, he explained to me all the steps of the procedure and told me to chill out. Once he got started he always prepped me right before anything that was commonly painful like the anesthetic shot, which btw was the most painless shot ive ever gotten from a dentist. As he continued drilling he made sure i was comfortable multiple times, even giving me some more numbing "just in case". We stopped a few times to retake xrays to make sure he was getting all of the nerves and what not. SUPER thorough. lol I can say it was absolutely painless, I went in closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was done. Dont get me wrong, it still felt like forever, but it wasnt a bad time lol. If you have terrible fear and anxiety from dentist and root canals etc, do yourself a favor and GO HERE. AMAZING. I hope to never again need a root canal but if I happen to need one, this is the go to hands down. Super big shame they dont do crowns. I wanted to get it all done at once, but i guess thats the one unfortunate thing about this experience. When my regular dentist took xrays for the crown, she was stunned how clean and nice the root canal was. Says a lot haha. Thanks again. A++ highly recommended.

One of the most most professional and attentive dental offices i ever went to. I was immediately approached, handed paperwork to compete and once i was done they sent me to the back to work on my tooth. The Dentist and the office manager really make you feel at ease. I recommend everyone come to this office.

I paid $950 out of pocket for a root canal and the first visit was not as painful as the first. She used icy cold instrument to determine which tooth to work on even though I was referred. This was very painful. What happened to xray? Then when I returned for the second visit because her temporary filing had fallen out she decided we would go ahead and complete the job. I felt like I was in a scene from Marathon Runner. The first shots were very painful, much more than usual. She was very rough. When the numbing wore out halfway through the procedure, she didn't want to give me additional shot for the pain, asking if I can hold it (turned out to last another hour). She rushed me through and kept disappearing. When she was done she says to me that the xray shows a crack. But, she added, she doesn't see any crack. I left in pain and the pain got worse. AFter all this I still need the tooth removed. I would like my $950 and my time back.

Dr. Sahasra is an amazing doctor. His education, experience and credentials are expected, but what is most appreciated is his compassion and kindness for and his empathy shown towards his patients. I've seen him twice in the last 10 years; both times he was compassionate and kind and listened to my concerns. He always had my best interests at heart and comforted me before and during a difficult procedure. He genuinely cares about his patients and I'm very grateful to have had him as my doctor on these two occasions. While I hope that I won't need to see an endodontist ever again, I know that my only choice should the need arise will be Dr. Sahasra.
