Dr. Marz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1984, then immediately entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps as a Captain. He spent the next four years at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, providing dental care to officers, enlisted personnel and advanced individual trainees as well as retirees and their family. After leaving service at Fort Jackson, Dr. Marz and his wife, Penny, relocated to Statesboro where he began his private practice.
Dr. Marz has continued his dental education by attending courses from accredited centers such as the Dawson Institute, Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has most recently trained in laser dentistry treatments and sleep apnea issues/treatment.
Dr. Marz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southeastern Dental Association, the General Dentist Association, and the American Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is also a member of the Statesboro Kiwanis Club, and he assists the Hearts and Hands Clinic of Bulloch County. Dr. Marz serves when able as a transport pilot for Angel Flight, the Pilots and Paws rescue organization, and STARS of Georgia pet rescue.
Dr. Brown is a Statesboro native who attended Statesboro High School and graduated in May of 2009. He then enrolled in the honors Chemistry program at Georgia Southern University where he majored in Chemistry, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2013. After realizing his passion for dentistry, he worked as a chairside dental assistant at a local dental office for one year. During his time as an assistant he gained extensive hands-on dental assisting experience before beginning his formal dental training.
Dr. Brown received his dental education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and graduated in June of 2018. While at LECOM, he also completed a one-year outreach program in Defuniak Springs, FL where he primarily served low-income communities with limited access to dental care. During his outreach program he received extended training in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry, while witnessing firsthand the impact quality dental care has on an underserved community. He then entered private practice as an Associate Dentist at Premier Dental Wellness in January of 2019.
Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association and American Student Dental Association. He is committed to expanding his clinical expertise in order to provide patient-centered, affordable dental care to Statesboro and its neighboring communities. Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family, running, fishing, and playing golf in his spare time..
Paige joined the PremierDental Wellness team in 2015. She was born, raised and still resides inStatesboro, GA with her husband Troy and their three daughters. Immediately following her 2001 graduation from Statesboro High School she attended Ogeechee Technical College, where she graduated in2003 with a Dental Assisting Certificate, she worked as a Chair-side Assistant for 10 years. Paiges desire to advance her dental knowledge led her to attend Southeastern Technical College, where she graduated in 2013 with her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.
Rubi joined the Premier Dental Wellnessteam in 2018. She resides inStatesboro, GA with her fianc Edwin and two children.Immediately following her 2010 graduation from Metter High School she attended Southeastern Technical College, where she graduated in 2013 with her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. While working as a full time Hygienist, Rubi continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Augusta University in 2018.
Irene joined the Premier Dental Wellness team in 2013. She and her husband, Richard have resided in Statesboro for the last seven years. Irene has a collective of 30 years experience in the Dental Field. She is a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute with an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certificate. In 1990, she attended Housatonic Community College, School of Nursing. She then became certified by The National Board of Dental Assisting and Dental Radiation Health and Safety, in 1993. While working as an Assistant she continued her education by becoming certified as a Medical Disability Examiner by the Social Security Administration, in 2004 as well as completing the core curriculum in Cosmetic Dentistry for Full Mouth Reconstructions at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry in 2008.
Kaytlyn joined the Premier Dental Wellness team in 2019. She has called Statesboro her home for 10 years, where she resides with her Fianc James and their two dogs. Kaytlyn graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with her Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2018. During her studies at Ogeechee Technical College she completed some of her internship at our office and was also awarded as the Hinman Scholar.
