Dr. Marz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1984, then immediately entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps as a Captain. He spent the next four years at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, providing dental care to officers, enlisted personnel and advanced individual trainees as well as retirees and their family. After leaving service at Fort Jackson, Dr. Marz and his wife, Penny, relocated to Statesboro where he began his private practice.
Dr. Marz has continued his dental education by attending courses from accredited centers such as the Dawson Institute, Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has most recently trained in laser dentistry treatments and sleep apnea issues/treatment.
Dr. Marz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southeastern Dental Association, the General Dentist Association, and the American Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is also a member of the Statesboro Kiwanis Club, and he assists the Hearts and Hands Clinic of Bulloch County. Dr. Marz serves when able as a transport pilot for Angel Flight, the Pilots and Paws rescue organization, and STARS of Georgia pet rescue.
Dr. Brown is a Statesboro native who attended Statesboro High School and graduated in May of 2009. He then enrolled in the honors Chemistry program at Georgia Southern University where he majored in Chemistry, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2013. After realizing his passion for dentistry, he worked as a chairside dental assistant at a local dental office for one year. During his time as an assistant he gained extensive hands-on dental assisting experience before beginning his formal dental training.
Dr. Brown received his dental education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and graduated in June of 2018. While at LECOM, he also completed a one-year outreach program in Defuniak Springs, FL where he primarily served low-income communities with limited access to dental care. During his outreach program he received extended training in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry, while witnessing firsthand the impact quality dental care has on an underserved community. He then entered private practice as an Associate Dentist at Premier Dental Wellness in January of 2019.
Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association and American Student Dental Association. He is committed to expanding his clinical expertise in order to provide patient-centered, affordable dental care to Statesboro and its neighboring communities. Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family, running, fishing, and playing golf in his spare time..
Paige joined the PremierDental Wellness team in 2015. She was born, raised and still resides inStatesboro, GA with her husband Troy and their three daughters. Immediately following her 2001 graduation from Statesboro High School she attended Ogeechee Technical College, where she graduated in2003 with a Dental Assisting Certificate, she worked as a Chair-side Assistant for 10 years. Paiges desire to advance her dental knowledge led her to attend Southeastern Technical College, where she graduated in 2013 with her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.
Rubi joined the Premier Dental Wellnessteam in 2018. She resides inStatesboro, GA with her fianc Edwin and two children.Immediately following her 2010 graduation from Metter High School she attended Southeastern Technical College, where she graduated in 2013 with her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. While working as a full time Hygienist, Rubi continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Augusta University in 2018.
Irene joined the Premier Dental Wellness team in 2013. She and her husband, Richard have resided in Statesboro for the last seven years. Irene has a collective of 30 years experience in the Dental Field. She is a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute with an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certificate. In 1990, she attended Housatonic Community College, School of Nursing. She then became certified by The National Board of Dental Assisting and Dental Radiation Health and Safety, in 1993. While working as an Assistant she continued her education by becoming certified as a Medical Disability Examiner by the Social Security Administration, in 2004 as well as completing the core curriculum in Cosmetic Dentistry for Full Mouth Reconstructions at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry in 2008.
Kaytlyn joined the Premier Dental Wellness team in 2019. She has called Statesboro her home for 10 years, where she resides with her Fianc James and their two dogs. Kaytlyn graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with her Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2018. During her studies at Ogeechee Technical College she completed some of her internship at our office and was also awarded as the Hinman Scholar.

I highly recommend this dental practice for their professional staff, pleasantly clean office and up-to-date technology. I was especially impressed with how my hygienist checked my overall heath and blood pressure prior to starting the procedure. Having just moved to Statesboro, this was my initial visit and Dr. Marz was very attentive to the overall health of my teeth and gums and offered sage advice on how to maintain it. I've already scheduled my next appointment!!!

Outstanding! Dr. Marz is a fabulous dentist! He explains everything so that I understand all of what he is going to do! Today, I got a crown on a front tooth that has been broken since I was a kid. It looks fantastic, and for the first time, I can smile and am not self conscious!!! The staff at Premier Dental are absolutely wonderful!!!! They all look after me so well! If you need a dentist, Dr. Marz and Premier Dental are for you!!!!!!!!!

I just have to tell you how amazing Dr. Marz and his staff is, I went there for new dentures, thinking my dentures would look the same old way, which was not good believe me, but I came out of there a very happy women, my new dentures were beautiful!!!! I can smile again and show my teeth for the first time in so many years that I can't even remember. If you need a dentist he is the greatest!!! He cares about your looks and takes all the time in the world with his patients!! His staff is wonderful and cares about you also!!! They treat you like family!!! This is from a very HAPPY PATIENT!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Marz!!!!!!! for making me look ten years younger!!!!!!!!

Listen, this is best place EVER!! I called about an emergency extraction and they saw me the same day and was able to squeeze me in for the day after.The receptionists were awesome as soon as I walked in & "Miss" Caitlyn was amazing at making me feel extremely comfortable before, during, & after my procedure. Dr. Brown was very understanding & did my procedure smoothly. I highly recommend this place for any and all dental needs.

As someone who grew up terrified of getting dental work done, I can't recommend Dr. Marz highly enough. He takes time to explain what he will be doing and makes sure his patients are comfortable. He has scheduled me in multiple times now for last minute chips and the work he does always looks flawless. The staff are lovely as well and I look forward to my biyearly conversations with my hygienist. I no longer dread the dentist because of this place!

Dr. Marz and his staff are amazing. I had to get some cosmetic dental work done and I waited for three years not trusting any of the dentists in this town. Then I found Dr.Marz. He does beautiful work and makes sure you're happy. He doesn't rush or get impatient with questions (I ask a lot of questions) and takes the time to explain everything. I cannot recommend him and his office enough. I am switching my son from his current dentist to dr. Marz and have recommended him to many others friends and family members. I did my research and Dr.Marz is the best!

I have a lifetime of experience of which I remember 60 years of going to the dentist every 6 months. Over the last 65 years, dentists have changed from working on you with a cigarette dangling from their mouth to absolutely the most modern dental practice i have ever experienced. Being new to Statesboro, I had to research who would be my dentist. I have lived in big cities and small towns all my life, and have seen dentists change with time. So I made some phone calls to local orthodontists and periodontists on the advice of my last dentist, asking them, "if you had to have dental work done, who would you go to"? Dr Marz (Premier) was the most recommended dental practice by the other professionals i asked. That being said, I took a chance. I had what I thought was a broken molar. It turned out that had broken a crown. When it was originally placed, it took close to 3 weeks from start to finish. Dr Marz's practice is so modern, he removed and replaced my crown in 2 1/2 hours. I was totally amazed how he and the assistant worked like a well oiled machine. While waiting for the crown to finish the manufacturing process (in house), they have a full body massage chair that i sat in for the 1/2 hour wait time. I brought my own headphones and was able to listen to the music I had on my phone. I think the practice offers headphones, but I don't remember. Everything was so easy. Even the device used to keep my mouth open was soft and allowed me to actually relax. Unlike past experiences that had implements that hurt stuffed into my mouth. So, if you are looking for a dental practice that is modern, efficient, and makes the experience fun, Premier Dental is the place to go. I left the office and jokingly told the doctor, "see you next week " Never in my life have I felt like that as far as going to the dentist. Thanks Doc & Staff

Dr. Marz is a wonderful dentist and remarkable human being. He has taken care of my family's dental needs for over thirty years. He and his staff are professional, friendly, and kind. My granddaughter had no other dentist and no cavities until she went off to college. His crowns are indistinguishable from your original teeth. If you need a dentist, look no further.

Dr. Mars and his staff are very friendly and make you feel so comfortable every time you walk in! I had the Gingivectomy to modify my gum line by making my short teeth appear longer and I couldn't be happier with my results and new smile! Also, it was pain free!!! I highly recommend getting this procedure done if you'd like to fall more in love with your smile!

This was my first visit and it was due to a semi-emergency. This was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. Staff very kind & accommodating. During the procedure, Dr. Marz & Irene (assistant) went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable at all times. There was no running back & forth between patients, even though I had a lengthy procedure with periodic wait times between steps. The receptionist (Beth) was a pleasure to work with as well. I will be going back to Dr. Marz for all my future dental care. Highly recommend!
