Our origins date back to the 1950s, when the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis now part of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and BJC HealthCare founded its General Practice Residency in Dentistry. Many of our skilled dentists trained in this prestigious residency program, gaining expertise with complex dental issues, special needs patients and dental emergencies for the entire Washington University medical complex. By the late 1980s, the hospital opened its first outpatient dental practice: The Jewish Hospital Dental Group. The groups dentists helped develop standards that raised the bar for clinical excellence in dentistry. They conducted clinical research in partnership with Washington University, and joined clinical trials with major toothpaste manufacturers. In the 1990s, the dental group opened additional offices to meet the needs of the hospital systems growing employee population and surrounding communities. In 1994, the dental group, with four offices, incorporated as Premier Dental Partners. Today, with 12 convenient locations and dentists in St. Louis city, St. Louis County and St. Charles County, we have continued to expand to meet the growing demand for comprehensive, high-quality dental services carrying on our founders commitment to excellence and personalized care.

My first visit to this dentist was positive overall. They seemed to have had a bit of a communication issue internally and the dentist was not completely sure of the purpose of my visit, but it went well. I will be able to provide a more informed review once I have had the follow-up appointments that we scheduled. Update: After a follow up appointment to have a filling repaired and another checkup, I can say that they have handled both professionally in every way. I very happy with the treatment I have received.

Ive been a patient at Premier Dental for years and they NEVER disappoint me. When I arrived today, my new hygienist, Jackie, was waiting with a smile. At first I was nervous because I've had the same hygienist since I first visited several years ago. Jackie described what she was doing every step of the way with such a comforting tone, which forced my relaxation. I value the time my dentist, Dr. Rega, spends before the polishing to ensure nothing has changed and always asked if I have questions or concerns since my last visit. My dental hygienist Jackie was AMAZING! She was very informative about what she was going to do during my appointment. She went into detail about what happens with the teeth which helps make me more relaxed. Keep in mind, I like going to the dentist but she made me more comfortable. In addition, my dentist and the hygienist were empathic. I had an overall great experience!
