The team at Premier Dental of Quincy and Milton believe in the importance of preventative care. We focus on keeping patients in good oral health so that they can live a full, healthy, and enjoyable life that is free from oral pain. This starts by educating our patients on what they can do to stay healthy at home. In our family dentist office we recommend that patients eat a healthy diet that consists of green leafy vegetables, lean protein, nuts, dairy products, and crunchy fruits and veggies. Eating these foods along with drinking water can help to keep teeth healthy and make them stronger. By simultaneously reducing sugar intake, patients can also reduce their risk of cavities.

It is also important to brush and floss throughout the day. Instead of waiting for bedtime to brush teeth, carry a small toothbrush and use it after meals and snacks. This makes it possible to remove sugar and bacteria from the teeth and gums before it has the opportunity to turn into acid that can attack the teeth. This preventative step can greatly reduce a persons' risk of getting a cavity or gum disease. We understand the importance of taking these steps at home and will spend the time necessary to educate and inform patients so that they can stay healthy overall. Education, after all, is essential for living a long and healthy life.

Understanding the importance of these regular dental exams, the team at Premier Dental of Quincy and Milton work to make each patient extremely comfortable. This includes being welcoming and kind while performing dental treatments in a way that is painless and relaxing. Patients visit our dentist office because they trust us to do just that take care of their teeth and gums, gently. The majority of our patients are local and come from the greater Quincy area, we also see patients that are looking for gentle dental care.

Seniors, on the other hand, often struggle with gum disease and oral infections. As people age, their teeth can become weaker and infected more easily. Bone loss is incredibly common with seniors and by conducting regular dental exams, the team at Premier Dental of Quincy and Milton can help seniors to have strong teeth and reduce the risk of them falling out. Since over seventy percent of U.S. adults suffer from tooth loss, preventative care is important.

A. Primary, or 'baby,' teeth are important for many reasons. Not only do they help children speak clearly and chew naturally, they also aid in forming a path that permanent teeth can follow when they are ready to come in.

A. First, rinse the irritated area with warm salt water and place a cold compress on the face if it is swollen. Give the child acetaminophen for any pain, rather than placing aspirin on the teeth or gums. Finally, see a dentist as soon as possible.

A. Sealants work by filling in the crevasses on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. This shuts out food particles that could get caught in the teeth, causing cavities. The application is fast and comfortable and can effectively protect teeth for many years.

A. Have your family dentist evaluate the fluoride level of your child's primary source of drinking water. If your child is not getting enough fluoride internally through water (especially if the fluoride level is deficient or if your child drinks bottled water without fluoride), then we may prescribe fluoride supplements.

A. Soft plastic mouthguards can be used to protect teeth, lips, cheeks and gums from sport related injuries. A custom-fitted mouthguard will protect your teeth from injuries and even provide protection from severe injuries to the head.

A. There is very little risk in dental X-rays. Family dentists are especially careful to limit the amount of radiation to which you and your family are exposed. Lead aprons and high-speed film are used to ensure safety and minimize the amount of radiation. Digital x-rays provide an even greater level of protection by using up to 90 percent less radiation.

Filling cavities is one of many services that a family dentist provides. Cavities are holes in teeth that occur due to tooth decay. However, if the decay is caught early, it may be possible to reverse it before a cavity forms. Understanding how and why tooth decay happens may make it easier to learn how

When it comes to preventive dental care, the approach is two-fold. First, it involves going to the dentist for regular checkups and performing any recommended follow-up treatment. Second, good oral health habits are crucial for keeping the body in good working order. For people living with chronic conditions such as diabetes and osteoporosis, keeping up

For patients missing several teeth, a denture can lead to a sense of normalcy. However, these dental replacements do sometimes need repair, and they often seem to break or malfunction at the most inconvenient of times. To avoid damage to the prosthetic or the patient's mouth, it can be helpful to know some of the

Dr Nafash was described to me as a veritable "Superman," renowned within the dental community for all his capabilities, by another great dentist who referred me to him for some specialized procedures. Not only did Dr Nafash do all the work required admirably (and wonderfully meticulously), he even charged *less* than a periodontist in uptown Boston had estimated for my pre-treatment consideration! And despite Dr Nafash's formidable breadth and depth of knowledge and capabilities, he is as quiet, unassuming, and soft-spoken as Clark Kent was portrayed as being--putting wary patients like me more at ease. ...In fact, even CORE Dental's waiting area is relaxing--as well as exhilarating and inspiring: one can essentially take a "virtual vacay" there, popping in on a variety of locales to sail above mountains into the clouds or plunge deep into the ocean, pass through crevices in rock formations arid out again over deserts; then back to soaring far above dense forests and scenic coastlines (...starting to feel like Superman oneself, in a sense!): marveling at all sorts of terrain around the globe via big screen, from a comfy sofa--without having to spend a cent or expend all the time and bother that might accompany actual travel. Dr Nafash clearly cares about patients and our experience with his practice, not only in such unexpected ways as the mind-broadening waiting room affords, but also (especially) by his doing whatever he can to assuage concerns...taking his valuable time to discuss options and to take additional measures to better ensure procedures' successful outcome. He listens attentively and responds respectfully and comprehensively (his teaching at Boston University's Dental School has clearly helped him communicate about complex matters clearly for ordinary folk)--and caringly: he even made a follow-up phone call to me hours after a recent appointment, to be sure sensation had returned to my jaw, as that's been a concern for me. CORE Dental's "workhorse" technology is incredible, too--STATE OF THE ART: for example, displaying a detailed, rolling 3D image of all my teeth from any angle (bringing back to mind the artful, aerial gymnastics performed by camera-on-drone for the meta-vacation I'd enjoyed out in the lobby not long before...also summoning up more visions of Superman!). Dr Nafash even could point out on the image specifically where plaque was starting to form on my teeth...not long after I'd had my teeth cleaned at another office, it occurred to me; so now I am considering having teeth cleanings done at CORE--also to take advantage of their insurance plan. Dr Nafash even edited out extraneous parts of dental images (e.g., unsightly gums that were distracting me from spots of more concern) onscreen with quick swipes of his fingertip...like a digital artist--bringing back to mind CORE Dental's tagline: "Where Science and Art Combine." --And regarding the science in that: Dr Nafash mentioned plans to introduce additional advanced technology to the office, to 3D-print dental crowns on site--offering patients **same-day service** for such work ...so that is something else we can look forward to there! As must be apparent, I can't say enough about Dr Nafash's work and consideration for patients--to the extent of his even relocating the office for easier access by those of us traveling a distance: his office is now just minutes away from Quincy Center MBTA station. And while I, too, didn't hear back from the office staff (during their transition to the new location...due to construction challenges and moving logistics, I was told), Dr Nafash has been well worth a wait, when needed (when that can be afforded, for not-so-urgent work that isn't causing pain)--and well worth my travel time from north of Boston.

This is the first time in my life that I really enjoy going to see my dentist! He is wonderful, very gentle, and extremely respectful about what the patient is comfortable with. I am 76 years old and have been not blessed with good teeth. I cannot recommend him and his office staff more.

I have worked in healthcare management my entire career. Never have I been treated so unprofessionally. I had my first appointment in the latter part of March. My priority was to have one of my upper front teeth crowned due to a fracture. As of today, the only thing I have completed is a routine cleaning. I was scheduled for today and received a call that my appointment was cancelled without any explanation. I tried calling several times, leaving messages, without any return call from the schedulers. This has been going on for approximately 5 weeks, unable to leave a message and when I was able, no one returned my call. Not once did anyone answer when I called. Today I asked a friend to call from his number and, lo and behold, they answered right away. Hmmm. I waited for awhile and called again. Someone did answer and told me that they no longer accepted my insurance. Meanwhile I have wasted 10 weeks on this dental practice when I could have had my dental work completed at another more professional practice. Totally unacceptable.

I travel all the way from the Cape, dr. Nassef and his team is absolutely outstanding! I got to know Dr. Nassif by referral from my general dentist who uses him aswell. Upon my first visit on day one he gave me an x-ray completely at no charge. This was not just your standard x-ray machine. I had to stand up and it wrapped around my head 360 Took complete x-ray of my job bones. Most dentist would charged $200 to $300 just for this x-ray. I have sense recieved additional work that he noticed which needed to be done and has charge me more than fair out of pocket price. I'm 50 years old, I have and have sceen a few dentists in my life, His practice is simply far beyond any other I've experienced!

Let me begin by saying I absolutely hate the dentist I had such a horrible experience that it pains me just to get a cleaning. Well not anymore, Tien. At premiere was incredible, she was so gentle, and so thorough. The receptionist Rosie was so nice and welcoming from the get go really calmed my nerves. Finally!!! Found an incredible dentist! And added bonus the place was spotless, and even smelled clean.

I have not been to the dentist in a while so figured it's time to bite the bullet and get told I need to floss more. From my first call to just finishing my appointment, this is where you need to go to the dentist. Joana is a gem with being helpful and scheduling appointments. I can see why they are so busy but occasionally they will have cancellations and Joana was nice enough to call me and offer an earlier date which I jumped on. Then came Christine. One of the hardest parts of going to the dentist is trying to hold a conversation while someone has that metal tooth pick inside your mouth but Christine was quick, detailed, and explained everything going on. She also told me about her unique animal following. Ask her about it, especially the possum. Overall great experience and while I don't think anybody likes getting poked in the teeth, I somehow enjoyed myself and was laughing way too much for a dentist appointment. This will be my go to spot and you should make it yours as well. Also it's right across from Montillios and next to Dairy Freeze so you can't beat the location for after dentist sweets.

I had a great experience here today for my routine cleaning. The hygienist was very personable, and she was extremely gentle as well detail-oriented with my cleaning. The dentist, who is highly credentialed, was also very thorough with the checkup on my teeth. 10/10 recommend!
