Dr. Almquist grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Churchill High School, then Trinity University with a BA in Biology. He received his DDS at UT Health Science Center San Antonio-Dental School, He spent 6 years as a Dentist in the US Air Force. He has lived in the Bulverde area since 1998, and loves the Hill Country. Dr. Almquist has been in solo private practice in San Antonio until recently. He is excited to join the great team at Premier Dental. His wife Melissa is a Veterinarian, and his daughter Elise will be going to College Station this year to pursue a degree in psychology. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and golfing with Melissa.
Dr. Barrett Beardsley was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in business at Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at the University of Southern California, after which he became an active-duty officer in the US Army. While stationed in San Antonio, Dr. Beardsley completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooke Army Medical Center. His service in the Army has brought him and his family to Seattle, the Mojave Desert, and finally back to San Antonio, the city they consider home. He is married with four children who love being Texans. He enjoys golf, surfing (it is possible in the gulf), and camping with his family. As a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he is prepared to meet all the dentoalveolar surgical needs our patients might have.

5 stars for our hygienist and Dr Massa and Dotson. However the billing, clerical, & admin part of this office has taken a nose dive since the ownership change.

I have been going to Premier Dental since 2013. Keeli is my hygienist and is wonderful. Great bedside manner and is very good with communicating what she's doing. 10/10 recommend!

Premier Dental is amazing! Especially if you don't have insurance because of their discount program, which is actually cheaper than insurance if you have to have anything done outside of your regular cleanings. I have had bad experiences with other dentists in town telling me I need thousands of dollars worth of work before a cleaning, and Premier has never done that. They are honest & caring and the best Dental office in town!

I was really surprised to encounter a very nice group of staff in this office. All the staff were inviting. The clients appeared happy and it was buzzing in the waiting area in a very positive manner. Plus the staff appeared happy and that makes a big difference to me and those around to experience.

Our dental assistants were extraordinary. They handled all aspects of the prep, X-ray, periodontal exam and excellent cleaning! No moving around the office or time lost in switching tasks. Excellent staff!!! The dentists were friendly and thorough in their exam. We are new to the area and pleased to find them.
