Dr. Puleo grew up in East Boston and Medford MA.. He received a BS degree from Stonehill College and dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has enjoyed practicing in Hillsboro, NH since 1987. He began with Dr. Carew and continued that practice when Dr. Carew retired. He hasthree children CJ, Brianna and Julia. As a family they enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer.
In order to offer the best dentistry possible for his patients, Dr. Puleo, takes many courses and is constantly evaluating the latest trends in dentistry. He believes in taking the time with each patient individually to determine what their needs are but more importantly what their desires are. Then he works with you to develop a plan you are comfortable with, keeping in mind your; comfort, needs, financial concerns and time constraints.
He and his team offer the high quality dental care you and your family deserve. As a practice, They are not only concerned with taking care of your dental problems but also determining the cause, to help you prevent them in the future. They want to help you keep your teeth for the rest of your life.
We truly are a unique dental office for many reasons that are summed up with logo, the Starfish. The meaning behind it comes from the story The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley that can be summarized like this.
You see, we are a small friendly dental office that cares about you. Like in the story we focus on one person at a time. This allows you to receive more of your care from the doctor rather than the staff. Right from the beginning the doctor takes time to find out what you want. He does not just dictate to you what you need to have done. Your treatment options are explained to you then you can decide what best suits you. Our feeling is that by working with one person at a time we can make a difference for them.
It is our goal to keep your mouth healthy, your teeth fully functional, and your smile bright and we are proud of all the services we offer to do exactly that. My first experience with this practice was last month. I was so impressed with the care I received. The doctor spent quality time with me, took pictures and educated me about my teeth. In all the years I've had dental care, he exceeded by far. The hygienist was thorough and sweet, and the receptionist was very personable and called me as soon as there was a cancellation (originally I had to wait a few months for a cleaning). Everyone was professional and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend them!!!!

Went here after I found them through my insurance provider list, and I was very satisfied my first time. I had not been to the dentist in a while and was having some tooth pain in my molars. The doctor listened to my concerns and what I was looking for, and immediately got to work. He did his initial exam, and then took pictures of my teeth and showed them on the screen which was cool. I got a couple fillings which were done quickly and well, and I'll be back in a week for more work and a cleaning. The staff was friendly, welcoming and it seemed like a very homey place.

It's a long drive but after so many dentists I've been to, this is the only place where they don't seem so fake and out to get my money. They care dearly for their patients and that's very important to me. Thank you :)
