At Premier Dental Arts, we are committed to improving and maintaining your oral health. We provide general dental care as well as cosmetic dentistry such as porcelain crowns, bridges, and veneers, teeth whitening, Endodontic (root canal therapy), oral surgery & complete and partial dentures.
I grew up in Portland, OR and received my Degree of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2002. While in residency I received many Rose Awards which was awarded to dentists with most patient satisfaction. I am a member of ADA, CDA, San Diego Dental society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the office I enjoy painting, Yoga , and taking my daughter to LEGOLAND and the Zoo. I am also involved with many volunteer/charity organizations such as Give Kids a Smile. I love dentistry and take pride in my work. Most patients are fearful of being in the dental chair, and my goal is to make them feel comfortable and at ease so they can achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. I have completed a sedation course and offer conscious sedation for patients who want to overcome their dental anxiety.
Dr. Hoss visited California many times while in dental school and fell in love with the diversity and beauty of the state and decided to make it his new home. In 2010, Dr. Hoss established his private dental practice in Vista, California. The confidence, experience and friendliness of Dr. Hoss and his staff enables them to provide gentle dentistry utilizing state of the art equipment and the latest techniques available today in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Dr. Hosss passion is helping patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. Compassionate patient care and the delivery of quality dental diagnosis and treatment is Dr. Hosss top priority. Dr. Hoss prides himself on his proficiency in up-to-date evidence-based techniques and is committed to providing the best, most advanced dental care. Dr. Hoss is a member of many local and national dental associations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and San Diego County Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Hoss enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son.

By far the BEST Dental Care experience we've ever had! Dr. Hoss and Dr. Mahtab and their wonderful staff always go the extra mile to ensure patient comfort, accessibility to services, and absolutely stunning results! There isn't a better dentist in the state than Dr. Hoss. He and his staff are beyond the golden standard when it comes to patient care and their wellbeing. Without a doubt I would recommend coming to see Dr. Hoss and trust me five stars isn't enough.

We have recently started with Primier Dental Arts based on my kid's orthodontics recommendation. Dr Hoss & his team has provided an excellent service. I haven't had a Dental work as yet. But the Dentist reviewed the x-rays. I didn't feel any pressure to have any unnecessary procedure done. Meanwhile I was informed of a potential future dental work. I also had two cleanings with Sam, their Dental hygienist. He is an excellent hygienist. He is very relaxed & patients. He took tim to examin the teeth & removing the plaques. I had a deep cleaning & a regular cleaning and he did a great cleaning both times. The receptionists are friendly & knowledgeable with insurance coverage etc. They inform you ahead of time with the amount of coverage & your out of pocket financial responsibilities. The office is clean & well managed. And the staff are very respectful & courteous. All together I believe they deserve a five star.

I called to cancel my next appointment because a bill went from $31 to $131 with no explanation just a message that it was over due. I started comparing other prices and I am going to a more reasonable dentist. This office has called me 7 times since then to try and change my mind by telling me that I am wrong. That is not a good strategy.

I know I am writing this review after two years, but I felt like I should get this out of my chest. I saw the doctor here two years ago and paid almost $5000 the crowns I got have Marjan and the space is killing me in between, I had to constantly floss because of poor work. I had to get them redone for it being too small and did not match the rest of teethes. I had told the dentist that they were small to began with but he didn't even make an effort to redo it. Anyways I got bad work, and because I am still upset I thought what the hell let me say this so that someone else can at least benefit from my experience. Please chose the dentist, it's not about being cheated it's also time consuming and bad work can be bad for your overall health. Always get second and third opinion.

Last month went to this place for the check-up of my tooth problem and received best dental service over there. Such a nice experience at this place.!! The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. The Dr. was very calm and polite. I'll surely recommend this place to all of my friends.

We have been going to Premier Dental Arts almost 7 years ago. From the moment we stepped in the doors we knew this was the right dentist for us. Both my husband and I get all our dental work here. Very professional, great staff and Dr. Hoss and Dr. Mahtab truly care about their clients. They are committed in making sure we are pleased with their work. True professionals and not to mention the best bed side manners I've ever witnessed. We refer all our friends and family here! P.s. we've never had any issues with billing. They've always communicated how much my portion would be. (I believe one time during insurance switch over with my company, I had to call Dana because I got an invoice. Sent her the new info and we were good to go). Give them a try, you'll be happy you did.
