Dr. Fan Yu received her Bachelor degree in Dentistry from Wuhan University in 1999 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in 2009. Before she went on to pursue her DMD at Tufts, Dr. Yu was privileged to spend three years at the VCU Philips Institute of Oral and Craniofacial Molecular Biology researching periodontal pathogens and gum diseases. Her research not only led to multiple published papers, but also a more profound understanding in gum disease and overall health. Dr. Yu practiced dentistry for two years on the North shore of Massachusetts before returning to Virginia, where she is now calling home. Dr. Yu is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and strives to provide the highest quality dental care to her patients with a gentle touch. Dr. Yu continues to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry through continuing education and advanced dental training. Dr. Yu is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Dan Huang earned his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Prior to that, hisdental trainingincludes five years of Bachelor Degree in General Dentistry(BDS in1994)and five years of fellowship inOral and Maxillofacial Surgery(PhD in 1999) from Wuhan University School of Dentistry in China. His oral surgery specialty training also includes 2 years ofmentorship with renowned oral surgeon, Dr. QiuWeiliu, inShanghaiSchool of dentistry. Dr. Huang provides all aspects of dentistry with a specialinterest and clinical strength in surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal, implant surgery, soft tissue lesion removal/biopsy, etc. He always ensuresthe patient's comfort and safety in his chair with a caring heart.Dr. Huang 's superb surgicalskills and experiences as well as his excellent chair-side mannerhave earned him a renowned reputation among his patients.

I was recommended by my friend to Dr. Yu when I had a toothache. However I was disappointed! Dr. Yu was friendly but she didn't go through the examination throughly, she literally just extracted my wisdom tooth and later it turned out my severe toothache was caused by another tooth nearby! As a result I got two teeth extracted in one week! In addition to that, I experienced an extremely bad toothache and had to take 3 pain killers for more than a week before the root cause was found out later! I am sorry but I want to write the honest feedback here!

I had a great experience with Dr. Fan Yu. She is so thorough and she explains things gently so that you're not scared even though you're in a dentist office. I would highly recommend her!

Beautiful and quiet environment, super clean and well organized, feeling warm and comfortable when entering the room. Both Dr Yu and Dr Huang are doing excellent job in dental cleaning and treatment. We are very thankful to their reliable service.

Premier Dental is my favorite dentist office of all time. I have had major dental work completed in my lifetime and this office ranks as my top favorite all around. Just came back from my visit today. I have been their patient for past three years. My wife and kids are also have their teeth taken care of there. Both Dr. Huang and Dr. Yu are excellent and very well-trained dentists. They are experts in the dental service field. Very personalized service and are very patient with people of all ages. They never overbook appointments and waiting time are never long there. The new office is very modern and you can watch the sky while laying on the dental chair. Nice if some light music to sweet the air.
