Dr Hoss Rohani, Dr. Amar Mistry, and our entire dental team always keep in mind the person behind the smile. Dr. Amar Mistry received his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. He then obtained his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he completed a 1-year AEGD residency (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) from Tufts University in Portland, Maine. Dr. Amar is also Invisalign certified.

Dr. Mistry strives to provide positive patient-centered, comprehensive, and compassionate care. He values the importance of continuing education by keeping up to date on current technologies and research. He strongly believes in evidence-based dentistry and enjoys teaching patients the importance of oral hygiene. Dr. Mistry is excited to join the Dayton community and start building relationships with his future patients at Preferred Family Dental.

Dr. Mistry is a member of the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Dayton Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Mistry enjoys cooking, traveling, supporting Michigan State athletics, and spending time with his friends and family. Above all, Dr. Amar Mistry and our entire dental team look forward to helping you achieve your smile goals!

Dr. Hoss Rohani graduated with a BS in developmental and cellular biology and a minor in biochemistry from California State University. He received both his masters and his DMD from the Western University of Health Science located in Southern California. His masters in medical science was received from the college of Biomedical Science and his DMD was received from the College of Dental Medicine.

Under the guidance and mentorship of Maestro Dr. Simon Hong, Dr. Hoss learned a holistic approach to treating the whole patient and observing the whole picture of a patients well-being. He truly cares about the preventative aspects of dentistry and his focus is on educating and maintaining good oral health. Following a conservative approach, he likes to work with patients to help them achieve their dental goals. Whether it is to get a patient out of pain or to make up their ideal smile, Dr. Hoss gets gratification from listening to patients concerns and satisfying their dental needs.

Growing up in Los Angeles, California he is accustomed to concrete drives and very little weather change. He is excited with all the greenery and water he sees on his drive to work. He loves being outside and cannot wait to try snow tubing this winter. He also enjoys watching European soccer and professional ping pong.
