I have been a patient for approximately 25 years and can't begin to express my frustration and disappointment in the professionals at this office. I was referred to a periodontist for evaluation after going to this office at least 3 times per year and was told I needed extensive treatment for 2 years with no alternatives offered. I called Preferred Dental to talk about the evaluation and speak to the dentist about it. For more than a month, I was given excuses (Dr. on vacation, hadn't seen evaluation, hadn't spoken to periodontist) and finally was told they had spoken and I would get a call back. 2 months later and multiple calls to office, still no contact. I suspect they were afraid they had missed an issue or were otherwise nervous to talk to me. I also suspect they proposed the most extensive plan because I had insurance and offered no alternatives. Just my opinions but no reasons to refuse to talk to a long term patient. Very poor communications and patient service.

My visit at Preferred Dental was the absolute best dental experience I've had in all my 29 years! The cleaning was top tier. I was scheduled for a root canal upon my leaving of the office to correct it asap. I'm a lifetime client.

Dr. Curt and Monique were wonderful today! I brought my daughter in as she had a few chipped teeth. The assistant and Dr were wonderful and addressed the concerns. So pleasant as well. I highly recommend this office!

Snowday _ no call, text or email. Common courtesy to patients would have been a notification. Would have saved me a drive to my appt in snow conditions.

I usually don't leave bad reviews but this Dental office And staff are not knowledgeable in their policies and do not inform their patients well on policies . The pediatric nurses are amazing. Please however (pls read Before you Decide to take you're child Here especially if they have special needs ).I used to come to this Dental office as a child and the dentists were amazing and so caring , so I thought since it was great when I was a child I should take my children to this Dental .The first cpl visits were great which my children only received cleanings .The. Came a issue my daughter chipped two of her teeth and I took her back regularly to get them check and the dentist told me they should be fine and come back in 6 months because they started bugging her to get them checked and the dentist found they looked as if they were getting worse we would have to crown her two teeth .(though the teeth affected she would loose)The dentis also mentioned we would probably end up having to do her other teeth on the other side of her mouth which had no visible damage and mentioned he would not know until she was put under to x ray ,from there I agreed and was contacted a week after my daughters visit by a hospital rep.The hospital rep stated that it would cost $700 out of pocket without the option of making payments .The cost had to be upfront and I asked what exactly would cost that much due to us having great insurance and she went on to explain it would be $200 just for the dentist to travel to the hospital mind you it's a 35 minute drive from the office then the crowns just Incase he had to do the other side of her mouth which was still undetermined so I explained that I would need time to come up with the $700 due to my daughters therapy costs etc. at the time of the call nowhere did she mention a 30 day policy stating if I didn't have the money in that amount of time would then Dentist Dr. curt then refuse to see my daughter again . It took us a few months to come up with the money but we finally did when I called to set up and appointment for the crowns they refused to set it up the dentist refused to call me they had a letter delivered to my house and had us sign for it stating they would not see her unless it was for Absolute emergency care .I then contacted the office and no one understood what was going on and had to wait and entire weekend for at least nice woman to call and tell me they wouldn't see her as a patient any longer .Not even if I set up a re-consultation because it was over the 30 days mind you ( I was nice I wasn't rude On the phone I was so lost I was never notified of any oth this )so as of now My poor kid who has already waited , has to now wait almost a month to get into another new dentist for a consultation then to re -schedule dental surgery I can't understand what kind of pediatric dentist is more concerned about their wallet then the childs well being that's what it all boiled down to is that I didn't have their money in a timely manner so now she's not worth seeing . I would not recommend anyone taking their child in to this office especially if you're child needs to be put under due to medical circumstances. Take you're time research I should have not just assumed when taking my children here. Today when I made my daughters new patient appointment they were shocked that they actually refused a child like that .

Canceled for my kids appointment in April for covid, understandably. Its September 1st and because she's 3 1/2 we still can't get in. She was great her first visit and we've made even better strides to get her more used to the process, still she should be admitted to receive care. The whole world is adapting. Quiet rooms? What about preventative care, which my insurance covers? Also has been the staple of your business every 6 months since the profession existed. Good habits, and life skill training to not fear dentists? What if issues out of my control that could have been curbed in the past year if detected? Who is paying when I'm denied care? We are almost a year with no dental care since last visit. Surely you could do more. At least call and update somebody over a timeline for care.

Staff and Services - EXCELLENT Billing Practices - POOR at BEST - Impossible to reconcile their billing to EOBs and they are over billing in excess of 15%. They agree I am overpaid and have a credit but will not issue refund if there is any open insurance claims, which I show is current per EOBs processed to date. After numerous calls to resolve this issue and confirming I have a credit they sent me a another bill today. Almost appears they are running a scam to pad receivables at customer's expense. Proceed with caution ... they owe me almost $400.00 in overcharges.

Dr Brajak was able to see me on short notice when I had a terrible terrible tooth ache. My experience with her was perhaps the best I've ever had at a dentists office, and her bedside manner and compassion and over all demeanor were so calming it made an otherwise horrible experience into an almost pleasant one. She was quick, efficacious, and explained everything to me at each step of the way. I am normally a little phobic about dentists and dentistry, she was more than accommodating of my condition, of which I am incredibly grateful.
