Jami graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2000, and has been with us for 15 years. She recently completed a program in Pain Management and Local Anesthesia Administration. Jami grew up in Indiana, and is now married with two children. On the weekends she enjoys running, boating and spending time with her family
Dr. Kit M. Palanca loves all aspects of dentistry and enjoys being able to offer her patients comprehensive, holistic oral healthcare that is customized to the needs of the individual. She is committed to providing the best possible dental care to her patients and has been in private practice since 1994.
The doctor began her career in dentistry first earning a B.S. in biology from Purdue University. She then graduated from the Indiana University School of dentistry in 1992, the youngest in her class at only 22 years old and immediately began honing her skills in a general practice residency for Hospital Dentistry at the VA Medical Center in Ohio.
Dr. Kit M. Palanca also pursued a Fellowship program in Geriatric Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and completed orthodontic training programs for general dentists at the American Orthodontic Society and United States Dental Institute.
When she is not caring for patients, you will find Dr. Kit M. Palanca spending time with her husband and daughter and a spoiled Labrador retriever named Kinder. She enjoys staying active playing volleyball, hiking, cycling, and taking Kinder for walks. She is also a huge Colts fan, avid reader, and has played classical piano since she was five years old.
Dr. Elsahy grew up in Carmel, Indiana and earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Spanish from Butler University in Indianapolis. She is fluent in both Arabic and Spanish. In 2013, she graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center during which she gained advanced experience in the restoration of dental implants, oral sedation and oral surgery.
Dr. Elsahy loves helping her patients achieve the beautiful smile they have always wanted and has received additional training in orthodontics. She is an Invisalign Provider and can help you straighten your teeth using clear, removable aligners. She also provides Six Month Smiles, short-term clear braces with an average treatment time of six months.
Dr. Kathryn DelaCruz-Wright, also known as Dr. Kat, grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and her heritage is Filipino. She earned her B.S. Biology degree and Spanish minor at Indiana UniversityPurdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Dr. Kat earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2016.
She has gained certifications and experience in various aspects of dentistry (i.e. aesthetics, Invisalign) through continuing education courses to further her dental knowledge and skills. She also has pediatric dentistry experience as a general dentist. Dr. Kat strives to provide quality, compassionate, patient-centered care and enjoys helping her patients build confidence in their smiles as well as improve their oral health.
Dr. Kat married her high school sweetheart, Nathan, and they currently live in Fishers with their dog, Rocco, an Australian Shepherd. Dr. Kat is a foodie at heart and enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring new cultures. She has a passion for dentistry, art, and science. Her hobbies and interests include music, photography, weightlifting, HGTV and home renovation projects, community service, and traveling.
Christine was born in the Philippines and is a licensed Dentist there. She has been with us for 17 years. She studied and graduated as an EFDA here in IU School of Dentistry. Christine is Ortho certified, PRP certified. She enjoys swimming, nature and would love to travel around the world. Christine is thankful to God for a healthy and blessed life.
Missy is originally from Kentucky and studied dental assisting in Michigan. She then graduated from the EFDA program at the Indiana School of Dentistry. Missy has been with us for over 15 years. She likes how she can change lives thru achieving happiness of healthy teeth. Missy is married and loves nature and travelling.
Desire (pronounced Dez-Ah-Ray) was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2015 and took the PCP course. Desire has been with us for 3 years and its her first dental job. She likes the diversity and personal connections she has with patients and co-workers. Outside of work, Desire enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially spending time with her daughter because she is always on the go with dance classes.

I planned to keep this experience to myself and NEVER RETURN AGAIN!! I received an email from the office requesting more information on my experience and decided to keep sharing. NICE BUILDING TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I should have not wasted my time with this place when I made several attempts to get scheduled on their nice & legit looking website and got no response... I called, left a message and got a call back to get scheduled and did. I shared my insurance information as well .. I got several texts after advising to come in early because the hygienist had training. No insurance info on file. My appointment went from 1pm to 12:30 to 12:50. My appointment was rescheduled to 12:50 the day of my appointment.. To arrive before 12:30 and leave your office an hour later, and WAS NOT SEEN is HORRIBLE. I sat there and watched 4 patients go back. After the fourth patient, I waited for one of your staff members to stop eating their lunch, and canceled. She had the star of david or a pentagram tattooed on her chest. All of this was A CLEAR INDICATION THAT THERE IS BETTER DENTAL CARE SOMEWHERE. JUST NOT HERE! DO BETTER. BE ASHAMED.

Dr. Palanca and the whole staff are great! Have been going to Dr. P for over 20 years. Professional service with a great personal touch. Highly recommend! Jamie did a super job with cleaning my teeth! Dr. P came in after to check on me. Got a fluoride treatment. Easy peasy!

I have been going to his location for a few years now... here is how it works, if you are serious about getting a healthy mouth then this is place for you.. your first visit will be an exam and x-ray... you will get a dental plan of everything that needs to be done within a day or two after the first visit.. you will come back every 3 months working on one thing at time.. If you stick with the plan it works.. She will work with you on payment.. you can make payments to the office before it is time for the next procedure... No excuse not to have a healthy mouth. How bad do you want it

I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years. The staff made me feel at ease because I do not like going to the dentist obviously. Dr. Elsahy was great and made me feel very comfortable. Her assistant was also amazing. (Sorry can't remember her name), but she was amazing and had a nice conversation with me while I waited for the Dr. to come check me out. Thanks again.

Preferred Dental is amazing! I have a serious anxiety issue when it comes to being numbed up with a needle for a dental procedure. They made sure I was comfortable, first used a numbing gel, and then used the needle. It helped alleviate some of the pain. The office staff were very friendly and they did a great job on my filling an fixing a chip on my tooth. My previous dentist was not helpful when it came to numbing me up for fillings. He would automatically say lets try nitrous when he knew that my insurance doesn't cover it and I don't have the money to pay out of pocket for it. Luckily, I did not have that same experience at Preferred Dental. It was much better!

I've gone here twice so far and both visits, everybody was very personable and honest about the state of my teeth. There were no bogus treatment plans (no fake cavities or anything of the sort which is what I fear whenever I go to a new dentist), and the woman at the final check out desk made sure I knew alternate routes to take for a more cost efficient treatment. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience, and I'm definitely recommending my family and fiance to go here as well.

I've been to Preferred Dental twice now. It was quick and easy to schedule my new patient appointment plus they were able to get me in very soon. I went first for a cleaning and x-rays which all went great. My hygienist did an awesome job on my cleaning. She was careful with the x-rays after I warned her that the equipment typically is super uncomfortable because my mouth is small. She did find a cavity so I scheduled another appointment which I was able to get in for the very next week. I just had my cavity filled this morning which was another awesome experience! Everyone there is so friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Kit and the dental assistant did an amazing job!! I was extremely nervous and they walked me through the process step by step. The numbing took the longest. 2 wisdom teeth out in less than 10 mins with no pain during the process just slight pressure. Thank you again for ensuring I was comfortable!
