He was born and raised in Ukraine; Graduated from Poltava School of Dentistry in 1993 with high honors. That year he began his successful career in dentistry, which he had for sixteen years until he moves to the United States. Then hereceived his dental degree (DMD) fromRutgers School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey in 2014.
In 2006, Dr. Valdman sold his practice in New York and moved to Florida to relocate his business than becoming partners in a dental practice with multiple locations throughout the State of Florida. Upon the sale of the practice, he stayed on as the Dental Director to oversee and transition out of the practice until 2017. He opened two new practices Allure Dental in Tamarac, Florida and Preferred Dental Care in Davie, Florida. Practicing all scopes of dentistry, his practice is fully equipped with innovative technology which allows him to provide superior services and products to all of his patients which range in age from one year to the elderly.
Originally born in Ukraine, his family migrated from the Soviet Union to Brooklyn, New York to provide a better life for their family. He grew up and went to school in New York and graduated from James Madison High School then went on to receive his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Hunter College. Dr. Valdman graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with his Doctoral Degree in Dentistry and opened his first practice in Ridgewood, New York and also practiced as an associate in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Valdman highly believes in helping those less fortunate and travels to Peru and the Dominican Republic to provide much needed dental care. I love my profession. I enjoy the interactions with my patients and love the technical challenges I face each day. It is extremely rewarding at the end of a difficult visit getting a thank you from the patient because they know we care about them and take immense pride in the care we provide.
Dentistry is constantly evolving, and only by continuing to seek more knowledge can I continue to provide the best care for my patients. Dr. Vadim Valdman has perfected his skills throughout the years and has completed over six hundred hours of continuing education in cosmetic, implant and pediatric dentistry.
When he is not working on your smile, Dr. Valdman enjoys traveling, experiencing new restaurants, spending quality time with family and his beloved dog Lexi, scuba diving and he stays physically active all year.

WORST experience ever!! I got my cavities filled here by Dr. Vadim Valdman and had to get the same cavity redone a week later because he messed up the filling. If you go here, choose one of the other dentists. They are very professional and did a thorough job when they had to fix Dr. Valdman's mistake. Not very happy with my experience with Dr. Valdman.

First time coming today 10 29 2022 jerome janvier had everything just id expire he had appointment @10 andlady front desk said cant take him cause id expired i dont think thats right wen he had transportation to drop him off and he has tooth pain at least take him and next time he will bring his residents card with good date on it she wasnt to friendly either

Updated. 4/5/22. Confirmed rip off. Down graded to one star. These are the scammy types of dentist offices that you hear about. After doing my research it was billing code D9630 they used to extract extra funds. This is what they say is the "irrigation" charge, which is a part of a tooth extraction that you must do but is not covered by insurance. So they bill the insurance a normal $179 and then charge the customer $150. The response below is an auto response, this place has zero interest in fixing the problem. Spoke with the dentist office many times over the phone to get this resolved. My insurance paid an additional $80 dollars that was owed to me since I paid my full balance on my day of treatment. This check is supposed to be given to me as a reimbursement, however profit preferred dental company is keeping it as well making my tooth extraction total $462. Previous post. Loved my dentist. She was amazing. But that is where it ended, this place should be renamed to Profit Peferred Dental Care. Their pricing/billing practices are dangerously unethical. Trust me when I say be very very clear with what you are paying and what your insurance is paying before you accept any procedure. Also, never sign their treatment plan recommendations, just do what you went there for and that's it. This place made away with more than 400 dollars for a simple tooth extraction. Two other dentist have said it should have been a 200 dollar procedure, without insurance. I had in network insurance that paid 80%, however they conveniently separated parts of the procedure to bill the client directly. What I paid out of pocket, with insurance, was MORE than I would have paid at a comparable dentist without insurance. Yes read that again.

Today was my first day there and I was impressed. The staff was very caring and helpful. Dr. Kelly Calderon was caring and explained every detail of what dental care i needed. I even received a personal call from her later in the day to see how I was doing after my procedure. Definitely recommend Preferred Dental Care.

Dr is great, but should re-evaluate who he has working in his office and how they treat other people. Was really looking forward to working with him but the unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful staff is unacceptable. I missed a few appointments years ago while I was dealing with post partum and my house being destroyed and they had the nerve to judge and laugh and refuse to give me an appointment with the doctor I requested. Not a good look especially if you're a mother. I'll spend my 50,000 elsewhere.

You can't go there without them charging you more than your insurance pays Even for a cleaning. It's a racket which is sad for a healthcare provider. My family has gone there for years but it's time to go to a to a more honest place

I have been a patient of Preferred Dental since Dr. Valdman took over the practice. Due to a variety of dental issues from radiation for cancer which caused many problems; Dr. Valdman has been able to diagnose/treat and correct my teeth. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable with a calming sense of humor. In addition, my sister had an emergency on a Monday holiday weekend and was taken in and treated. We would never trust our mouth with any other Dentist and recommend him highly.
