Staff is rude. They don't know how to submit a basic dental claim to insurance. When I called to remedy the situation, instead of working with me, they jumped in and offered a discount. When I said that my insurance would pay, and it was an insurance company that they agreed to bill before my appointment, the front desk person was rude and hung up on me. The dates on my paperwork don't match the dates of service so my insurance can't pay the bill.

Horrible, worst dentist I've ever been to and I had such high hopes. Some highlights of my experience, constantly being rescheduled, made my tongue bleed during xrays, extremely rough cleaning, never gave me sunglasses before shining a bright light in my face, constantly splashed water on my face and clothes, argued with the dental assistant about someone not filling out paperwork over my face, and oh yeah the kicker- I went to try to finally get my fillings done today and was told the dentist wasn't in and wouldn't be for 2 MONTHS???? I never received a call either on an icy day and tried to call the office multiple times to see if they were closed. Not to mention they charged me for all fillings at once and never finished the service now this guy just ups and leaves and apparently he has to approve my refund so who knows. I'm honestly shocked and can't comprehend what the hell happened here and how this guy has such high ratings. Doesn't sound like this practice will be open much longer but if it is, beware.

My husband and I are so grateful Dr. Grasvik took over this office a few years ago. We've had great dental services here. Darcy is always warm and helpful. Dr. Grasvik has always been efficient and straightforward at his job. I don't expect dental care to be rainbows and a gum massage, but I do have expectations for a dentist to have great skills and knowledge in his expertise. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to preferred dental for a few years. The first time I went, I had concerns about a discolored tooth and Dr. Grasvik dismissed me by telling me it didn't bother him so it shouldn't bother me. The whole interaction left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable with him. After that, I only kept going back because the dental hygienist there was awesome and made me super comfortable. Today I went back after a long break due to covid, and it appears there are no more dental hygienists and just Dr. Grasvik doing the cleanings. The whole experience was rough, painful, and uncomfortable. The front desk receptionist was extremely professional and understanding when I told her my experience. I won't be going back and I would not refer this dentist to anyone.

You can tell he had a 4.0 GPA in school... He is freaking awesome and can tell you what needs to be done now and what it will be next time... I'm officially a forever patient.

I went to Dr Nick for extensive dental work. He had to correct a previous dentist's substandard work. He was incredible. He explained everything he was doing. He guaranteed his work. He completed it painlessly. His front office manager, Darcy is welcoming and friendly. I can't believe I found this fabulous gem tucked away in Beaverton. I highly recommend Preferred Dental. I can't say enough great things about my experience there. My husband and my daughter transferred care to Preferred too. Charming staff. Painless procedures. Accommodating scheduling. Responsive to urgent issues. Transparent care. Preferred Dental has it all!

Dr. Grasvik is great! He listened to my concerns sincerely and made sure I was comfortable. My procedure went very smoothly with no pain! I would highly recommend.

I have been coming to Preferred Dental Center for years and have always had a great experience with everything from routine cleanings to root canals and everything in between. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommend doctor Nic and the Team and Preferred Dental Care Center.

Dr. Grasvik poached me from gentle dental and then refused to answer or return my phone calls. Obviously you don't want my out of pocket money. I would suggest anyone else!!
