The headphones obscure the noise from the drill and provide a welcome distraction. With Zeiss optics and high quality stereo sound you feel you are at the theater. Plus there are personalized diopter settings making it able to focus to all eye needs.
X-ray procedures are an essential part of quality endodontic therapy. A major emphasis in our office has been to acquire technology which minimizes the already low radiation required. We utilize an advanced dental imaging system throughout out office.
Kodak RadioVisioGraphy (RVG) filmless digital radiography system utilizes an intraoral sensor in place of conventional x-ray film. The radiographic image is converted into an electronic signal that is interpreted by computer and displayed instantly onto our operatory workstation monitors. RVG reduces up to 80% of radiation exposure when compared to conventional x-ray film techniques. RVG provides us with improved diagnostic capabilities through image enhancement computer technology.
Root canal treatment can be described as the art of treating the smallest of dental tissues in the most difficult of locations. The introduction of the surgical operating microscope has revolutionized both surgical and nonsurgical endodontic treatment. The microscope provides the endodontist with commanding visual control in a remarkably precise manner previously unknown to endodontics. New treatment modalities have been developed which take advantage of the increased magnification and illumination of the microscope. Previously difficult or impossible procedures can now be performed predictably and efficiently.
Every treatment room is equipped with a Zeiss or Global Surgical Operating Microscope. Each microscope is equipped with a Canon T21 Digital SLR camera to allow the surgical assistant to view and assist with the procedure being performed. Our operatory computer network allows us to capture both photoand radiographic images.
Endodontic microsurgery is a surgical procedure utilizing the Surgical Operating Microscope and specialized microsurgical instruments to accomplish root end surgical procedures with a higher degree of precision that previously possible. Improved vision and reduced surgical trauma enhance long-term prognosis.
This technology is able to take a limited field scan of the tooth in high quality 3D images. The 3D image allows us to rotate the tooth in 360 degrees along any axis. This allows us to achieve more accurate diagnoses with more predictable treatment outcomes. It has helped us confirm or dismiss the need for endodontic treatment. This technology is safe and it quickly becoming the new standard in Endodontic treatment.

Dr. S. And Kristina were excellent throughout the whole process of my first ever root canal! I was in a lot of pain and they got me in right away to help correct the situation. They were very kind, made sure I understood the process and relieved my extreme tooth pain. I highly recommend them to any and all needing their services.... especially Dr. S. & Kristina!

I was recommended by Plymouth Dental to get a root canal at Precision. I couldn't be happier with the great staff that welcomed me and made me feel comfortable with getting my root canal on 26. I had two root canals done by Dr.Stockhausen and her dental assistants on two occasions. They were very attentive. Assistants Mercedes, Jeanna and MJ were informative, kind and professional. Great experience! They do root canals different here. I had glasses and headphones where I was able to watch Netflix the entire time. Dr.Stockhausen and Mercedes were fantastic. I said at one point "this feels more like a spa" it felt weird saying it but it filled the vibe.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Stockhausen and Kristina made sure I was comfortable during my root canal and were concerned if I exhibited any discomfort. Would recommend them to anyone needing a root canal.

I had such a nice experience. The office was clean and the staff was courteous, friendly and professional. Fees were thoroughly explained and--the best part--absolutely no pain! This was my first time visiting Precision Endodontics. The office staff was very pleasant. Dr. Ryan and his assistant did an awesome job. He explained the procedure and what they were going to do during the visit. Followed up the day after to see how I was doing. Would highly recommend Precision Endodontics.

My experience at Precision Endodontics has been great even though root canals are not an enjoyable experience. Everyone there, the receptionists, the assistants and Dr. Stockhausen, were compassionate and great to work with. All my questions were quickly and efficiently answered. One time I called because my tooth was really hurting and they told me to come in as soon as I could and they would work me into the schedule. I have had three root canals this year so I have a lot of experience with them. If you have to get a root canal I highly recommend Precision Endodontics.

OMG! If you need a root canal, you MUST go to Dr. Rachel Stockhausen!!!! I am a huge baby when it comes to dental work and the possibility of getting a root canal did not help my anxiety level! Unfortunately, I needed a root canal and it was done in one visit! YEA! Dr. Stockhausen was gentle, quick, professional, and funny. She has a unique way to make a person feel comfortable, less anxious! Dr. Stockhausen even called me the next day to see how I was doing and provided me with her cell number if I needed anything! Kristina was awesome, too! It is noticeable that Kristina is great at her job! She too, was gentle, and put up with my many questions and nervousness with a smile. I felt safe at Precision Endodontics (during Covid) and I appreciate the entire staff. The front desk ladies are well organized and super kind! Although I hope to never return, you cannot go wrong with this place if you must get a root canal!

I am the worst patient when it comes to root canals. If you are worried about having one done I can't recommend this place highly enough. The minute you walk in the front door the desk staff are so pleasant and helpful. The dental endodontic staff that assists the doctors are so caring and nice. Dr. Stockhausen is very knowledgeable and patient and caring as well. They have all kinds of ways to ensure your comfort whether its the massage chair or music or warm blankets they provide. They take an experience that may not be your favorite thing to do and make it totally bearable. Thank you to the entire doctors and staff at Precision Endodontics!

I was referred by my dentist to this practice for an evaluation of tooth #19; when I went in, instead of treating tooth #19, tooth #18 was treated with a root canal procedure. I was told by Dr. Sarmad Alyas-Askar that he would need to evaluate the Xrays of tooth #19 and that someone from the office would call me to follow up - I never received a phone call. Two weeks later, I called the office and was promised by the receptionist that she would reach out to Dr. Alyas-Askar for his availability and that she would call me back. I have been waiting for over a month now to hear back regarding the tooth that I initially went to the office for.

Recently had a root canal done the dentist was very thorough in this procedure left with little to no pain slight swelling that was gone after one motrin 800mg. Procedure was super precise dental assistant was very kind. Only negative I can say was the price per xray and not allowing me to send the xray over from another office that was taken days prior. I understand they have to do their own examination but you can examine the xray from two days ago which is no different then the one I was charged 350$ for 2 days later. Overall the quality of the procedure makes up for the cost.
