Native to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Rivero grew up in Shoreline, WA and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puget Sound in 2001. Dr. Rivero then moved to Boston, MA, where she received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude (she shared the top of the class spot with 1 other dental student). After dental school, Dr. Rivero moved back to the west coast to receive her Certificate of Endodontics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. She then returned to Seattle, where she worked an associate for an endodontic group practice for two years before opening up her own practice in Everett, WA in 2009.
Dr. Rivero dedicates many hours, each year, to increasing her dental and endodontic knowledge through attending continuing education classes and lectures throughout the country. She feels that it is extremely important to perform dental treatment that is supported by the scientific literature (evidence-based dentistry) and to remain up-to-date with the latest dental technology (especially utilizing the dental microscope for every treatment, 3D radiography and using the GentleWave) She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Snohomish County Dental Society.
When not working, Dr. Rivero enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and friends, baking various treats with her daughter, traveling, and enjoying all of the wonderful activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer (especially skiing and camping).
Dr. Jeffrey Bennett completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University earning a degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Anthropology. He attained his DDS degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where he graduated in the top of his class. He received his Masters of Science degree in Dentistry and his Endodontics specialty certificate from the University of Washington. Dr. Bennett is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Seattle King County Dental Society. He is an affiliate associate professor at The University of Washington School of Dentistry. He brings compassion, kindness, and skill to all of his patients and maintains his skills by staying up to date with the most current literature and continuing education.

I can't speak to their quality of work, but if it's anything like their customer service, tread carefully. I was called a day before my appointment, asking to move me to an earlier start time. When I called back, they told me they went ahead and moved it anyway without confirming with me. I tried arriving on time, but ended up arriving 6 minutes late (no fault of theirs, of course... the new time was just hard to make with my work schedule). I was called while getting out of my car. They wanted to know whether or not I was still coming, that they had to bump me and could try to "squeeze me in" as soon as they could. When I entered the building, I got checked in, then tried to share my frustrations with what happened. I wasn't expecting them to drop everything just to be seen immediately, merely just some kind of acknowledgement about the last-minute change. Instead, the receptionist felt it was appropriate to split hairs and correct the # of minutes I was late with the current time. This microaggression didn't really sit well with me, so I decided to not continue with the appointment. The icing on the cake was how the receptionist started talking over me with artificial niceties while I was trying to cancel the appointment. Waiting a bit longer to be seen would have been no issue if their customer service was at least on par, but no wait was worth how I was treated.

Dr. Joy Rivero and her staff are amazing. Getting a root canal can be unnerving but from the beginning to end they were all caring and informative and professional. Dr. Riveros's front office team were kind and prompt in scheduling and walked through expectations for the treatment day. Dr. Rivero herself is extremely amazing at her job and has a fun and caring "chair"-side manner. She ensures her patients are comfortable at all times and clearly the best of the best! I healed quickly and her staff checked in on me the next day. No one wants a root canal, but if you need one go to Precision Endodontics!

I cant complain about the root canal but my appointment was rescheduled because the doctor had an "emergency" so they needed me in 1.5 hrs earlier for the same doctor so her schedule was obviously more important than what i had going on also this appointment was confirmed less than 24hrs b4 hand and i paid in full .... it absolutely ruined my customers experience and my day hope her emergency was important it couldnt wait 1.5 hrs

I have had several procedures done by Joy Rivero over the last several years. Although no one likes to have a root canal, she makes it as painless as possible given you may have to have your mouth open for an hour or more. She is highly professional and skilled. I would highly recommend her and her practice.

I've had a lot of dental issues over the years, and see several dental professionals. I don't typically leave reviews but Dr. Joy Rivero and her staff deserve one. Exceptional, flawless service from start to finish. Consult appointment availability within 3 days, office manager confirmed insurance coverage same day, and root canal scheduled within 2 days. The root canal experience was also pleasantly unexpected. Multiple options for pain management that were all explained and worked very well with no after effects. I can't say enough about Dr. Rivero and her staff. I never need to shop around again. Thank you.

Dr. Rivero did an excellent job on my root canal. It was really hard to detect but she located it and fixed it pretty fast. I also had a question about the billing and that was easily resolved. The staff was great and made me feel really relaxed.

Professional and covid-careful office, and perfect results. Dr. Rivero did a root canal for me a few years ago. When I needed one in December, I didn't even consider going anywhere else.

Referred here to have a consultation for a possible root canal by my dentist. Setting an appointment and completing paperwork was a breeze. Sure enough, I needed a root canal. The staff was tremendous during the consultation and follow-up visit to have the root canal. Karissa, Brittany(sp) and Dr. Joy Rivera are outstanding. The process was painless and I knew what was happening every step of the way. Every business could learn how to treat customers from them......

I was referred to Precision Endodontics by the my dentist because I had a severe tooth infection and needed a root canal. I made an appointment that same day with D.M.D Joy Rivero for a consultation and X-rays. She and her staff explained the entire procedure. We set up an appointment for a week later and got me on antibiotics. The entire procedure took less than an hour and I am pain free. Nice office, easy parking, great staff. Highly recommended.

I had a referral from my dentist to Precision for a root canal 2 years ago. The tooth stopped bothering me until a few weeks ago. I called and told staff at Precision that I really would prefer if I could just come in for an exam and most likely root canal in the same timeframe so I wouldn't have to drive to Everett a second time. They set me up really quick and got everything done in one setting. I am now a happy camper again. Dr. Bennett is gentle and has an excellent bedside manner. Makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Definitely recommend.

I got a referral from my dentist to get a root canal done and they got me in less than 24 hours later. Very professional, clean, courteous, and caring. They got me in and out quickly and I had absolutely no pain after the procedure.

I had a root canal done here recently, and I have to say the staff here are the best I've ever encounted for this procedure. They are very understanding of anxiety and make sure you are fully informed of what will happen and that you are as comfortable as possible at all times. I've never felt so taken care of and I'm so grateful for their care and professionalism. Highly recommend!

First I have to start from karissa office Manager, Absolutely very helpful and understanding give all details about cost etc as my experience with another dr. They try to charge out of insurance cover and I think not professional, Instead of care only one set mind in business Yes ! Clean facility , organized Dr, Jeff Bernett he is out standing with information and well explained,after treatment next day he had fallow up how am I doing ( his support staff called ) but that absolutely excellent care Well done and appreciated thank you
