Shruti Mankad, DMD has been practicing general family dentistry in suburban Boston area after her dental diploma in 2002 from Boston University. Dr. Mankad has worked in several private and group practices as a general dentist.
She performs a thorough analysis of the specific dental situation, discusses all the treatment alternatives, and helps patients determine the best option that serves their needs in affordable and patient-friendly manner. Dr. Mankad has created healthy and beautiful smiles and treated patients of all ages - kids, adults, and seniors, with her gentle touch. Prior to starting her career as a dentist in the US, Dr. Mankad worked as a family dentist in India for over 5 years after completing undergraduate and graduate degrees in dentistry. Dr. Mankad also worked as an associate professor in Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad, India for 4 years teaching Preventative Dental Medicine.
Dr. Mankad regularly attends dental education courses to keep her abreast of latest advances in dental health. Dr. Mankad has also received special training on treatment planning and dental restorations from prestigious Spear Education Institute, Scottsdale, AZ and successfully implemented these proven techniques to create healthy and beautiful smiles for thousands of patients.
Dr. Mankad is also active in local communities. She routinely conducts talks and presentations on the importance of dental hygiene to local school students. She is also the coordinator of local Boston area chapter of a nonprofit volunteer organization that focuses on the mental and physical well being of society by incorporating Yoga and Exercises in daily routine.

Dr Mankad and the team has the patient's safety and wellbeing on top of their list. I has a great experience during my root canal. The outcome was very beautiful. Tina's pre and post care was very professional and calming, I felt very safe. Thank you!

Unprofessional dental office. My wife had a root canal done on two teeth with a temporary filling. When the fillings were going away, she called the office to have them refilled. The doctor there gave my wife a negative answer saying that they could not filling them unless having an extremely expensive bridge / crowns done. I do not recommend this doctor for any treatment. You better go somewhere else.

I love the precise dental team. Kavitha the office manager is always so kind and inviting. I always appreciate seeing and talking wth her before an appointment. She doesn't hide in the back like some office managers. She handles all the business and I like knowing she is there. Dr. mankid is very good at her job. I love how she hums during procedures. and always gives me good advice and will call me out of im not taking the best care of my teeth. New addition Laura seems nice too. Tina is new and super lighthearted. I/they call her T. she had me laughing and calm the moment I walked into the office. i really appreciated T as a new edition to the team. its a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend precise dental. they are great people and care about you as a person and don't see you as a bill. I love that.

Dr.Mankad is skilled at her trade and has wholesome experience working back in India and then in US. I got bunch of stuff done in summer this year from extractions, bone grafts, root canals and crowns and my experience has been more than satisfactory. Her office assistant, Kavitha is good at looking at various dental plans and providing estimates/treatment plans within budget. They are flexible and accomodate schedules as much as they reasonably can, I would highly recommend Precise dental care for your dental needs.

I've never had a dentist I enjoy as much as the staff at Precise - they're so genuinely kind and fun that I can't help but leave that office with a smile on my face, showing off their handiwork. In addition to doing the usual things well (cleanings, fillings, etc), they do it all very thoroughly. They really pay attention, which helps them go above and beyond - from the doctor reminding the receptionist to get my new insurance card (before the doctor had even seen me), to noticing I've lost weight since my last cleaning, to suggesting skipping anesthetic as insurance wouldn't cover 100% of it (tiny cavities, but I still opted for the Novocaine). The only reason I wouldn't recommend Precise is because I'd be very disappointed if they got too busy for me!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mankad for about 18 months now. My husband went to her first and told me how pleased he was with the work done there and the extremely nice staff who attended to him. I was reluctant to change but then got an outrageous quote from my former dentist and decided to give it a try. Being older and in my sixties I needed a bit of age related work including a bridge and two crowns along with semi-annual cleanings. My experience has been 100% positive. Dr. Mankad always takes time to explain to me what work needs to be done along with estimates that have been either right on the money or less than the original estimate. More importantly I have been more than happy with the quality of the work done as well as the competency and kindness by the very attentive staff. It's also important to note that unlike my former dentist (where I would almost always wait for an hour or more) this dentist is on time and therefore shows respect for my time.

I, met Dr Shruti Mankad, a Dentist in my locality, Shrewsbury last year in July, 2012 when one of my front tooth got hurt while eating. She examined my case very thoroughly. She explained to me the full details about it. She said that my tooth had already been out of the root and was tied up temporarily through a gum tape by another Dentist. So fixing the tooth again, temporarily, was more dangerous as it would have resulted in piling up of more germs around it. She explained further that it would be better to take it out rather than fixing it temporarily. She also explained that as it was the front tooth and shall not cause any inconvenience while chewing or talking. I was not agreeing to it. But, She assured me in such a decent way that I can never forget in my life. She said, " She would have given the same treatment to her own father had it occurred to him." Her this reply left everlasting impression about her in my mind. I got the treatment from her as per advice and I am alright since then. I am and shall remain obliged to her for giving me the right advice and right treatment. I may further add that recently my wife wanted to contact a dentist about her teeth. I recommended her to visit Dr Shruti Mankad clinic. She agreed to it and she also got wonderful treatment and nice behavior at Precise dental Care. I strongly recommend Dr Mankad and her practice to all my friends. VK

I wouldnt recommend this place to any one. They will give you one cost estimate and when you get the bill from them you will be surprised. They would put bogus procedures and claims and simply cover it with an apology. I DO NOT recommend doing business with this dentist because of their unethical practice. I have many friends with similar experience.
