Dr. Pratt is a graduate of Boston University, having earned a B.A. in biology. She continued her studies at the University of Connecticut, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Pratt practiced as an associate of Dr. Dimitri Ganim then partnered with Dr. McManus, and now leads Pratt Family Dentistry.
Dr. Puerini is a graduate of Penn State University and a 2005 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. A Rhode Island resident since that time, she is married to Dr. Stephen J. Puerini, who is also a dentist. Together they are the busy parents of elementary aged triplets.
Prior to starting her family, Dr Puerini served as Dental Director of Thundermist Health Center in West Warwick from 2005 until 2009. Following the invaluable experience gained there she has managed to balance her time between private practice and the joy of raising three energetic children.
In addition to her broad experience, Dr. Puerini brings to the practice a love of dentistry and a passion for excellence. She believes that an informed patient is a vital component in the delivery of quality dental care and makes certain that her patients are treated with kindness and professionalism at every visit.

I highly recommend Dr. Pratt Family Dentistry if you are looking for a provider who takes time to deeply know her patients and their needs. Dr. Pratt takes care of my entire family, including my school age children and my wheelchair-bound elderly father. Over the years, Dr. Pratt has demonstrated her deep passion and knowledge of her profession, her meticulous attention to detail and her kind, gentle bedside manner in caring for my family. Every member of her staff is equally wonderful.

My family have been patients, of Dr. Pratt, for over 16 years. As a Mom (of not so young children anymore), I am grateful that my kids had great experiences for every cleaning, filling or x-ray. They were never nervous to go to their appointments. She and her staff have always been friendly, comforting, accommodating and informative. We could not be happier with this practice. I highly recommend.

Visited this office and "Dr." Pratt seems more interested in neighborhood gossip, like where you work, who knows whom, and how she is close friends with and engages in the same exclusive social clubs as those with whom you work, etc., -- This was a bit intrusive into the private lives of patients, causing a real disturbing wonder about patient confidentiality. Reluctant to go to a follow-up appointment, I was yelled at by the intake staff and belittled for not giving enough notice on cancelling the appointment. A matter of even graver concern -- The records clerk inserted a retaliatory, vindictive note in copies of the medical records speaking to this in my pursuit to transfer to another healthcare provider. What gross disfigurement of freedom of choice and patient healthcare and well-being is the staff at the Pratt office trying to motivate?

My wife and I relocated back to RI in March '22 after 35 years in the Southwest. A key component of relocation is establishing new medical and dental providers - two local friends highly recommended Pratt Family Dentistry, and we've been thrilled with the level of care and attention from everyone in the office. Michelle and Ann at the front desk were friendly and extremely helpful in scheduling our initial appointments. Connie and Dr. Barron were an awesome team - they were fun and personable while providing the most thorough initial new patient assessments we've ever experienced. As importantly, Connie and Dr. Barron provided the most efficient/painless cavity replacement of my life. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this practice for years, and transitioned to Dr.Pratt when Dr.McMannus retired. I think she, and her entire team, from the front desk people to the hygienists, are wonderful, kind, efficient and medically very very sharp. I am a physician myself and I feel they are alert to other medical conditions, and that I can rely on their judgement. I appreciate their care.

Dr. Pratt and her assistant Sharon are complete professionals. It was my first time with Dr. Pratt and the procedure was an excellent experience. To me, it's important that providers set clear and accurate expectations for a patient, manage a patient's stress and pain levels, communicate frequently throughout the procedure, and maintain an atmosphere of calm. They did all of the above with true finesse and expertise. Although I've had some deviations from this particular experience in the past here, I'm overall happy to be a patient of Dr. Pratt's practice.

RUN RUN RUN AWAY!!!! This review is specifically for Dr. Pratt and none of her hygienist as I think they are fabulous. I went to Dr Pratt for over 10 years. The past couple years I had lots of jaw pain. Dr. Pratt always asked if I wore my retainers and if I wore a mouth guard. Every time I went she said the same thing. I wore my mouth guard and retainers EVERY single night. I recently moved and have a new dentist. She noticed significant wear on my teeth. My new dentist referred me to a specialist. The specialist took x-rays and they found significant bone loss in my left jaw ball socket. 5mm of bone loss. This is something I am extremely upset about considering I complained about it for years. I wouldn't have as much bone loss if Dr. Pratt gave her patient the time of day. Clearly Dr Pratt is too busy to give her patients the time needed she should put her education to rest and retire. Terrible dentist I DO NOT recommend!!!!!!

Dr. McManus has been my dentist for many years now and I couldn't be happier. Each time I walk through the door I feel like family. The office staff is friendly and great at scheduling appointments around my schedule. Dr. McManus spends time with me at each visit and is very gentle-I recommend them to everyone.
