Dr. Golshani was raised in Naperville, Illinois and received her undergraduate degree in science from Benedictine University, graduating with honors in 2006. She then attended the reputable Marquette University School of Dentistry obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Golshani chose to return to the suburbs of Chicago shortly after graduating and practiced there for five years before moving to California.
Dr. Golshani is extremely attentive to her patients and employs numerous techniques to provide them with minimal discomfort. Through her completion of continuing education and as a standing member of the American Dental Association, she is dedicated to learning more about the art of dentistry taking special interest in cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Golshani is excited to return to the suburbs of Chicago after spending the last few years practicing in California. Her hobbies include playing piano, tennis and oil painting. She enjoys spending the rest of her spare time with her husband and their lovely one year old daughter.
Daniel graduated hygiene school from Lakeland College in 2019. He believes that good oral health is possible for everyone. Daniel loves to talk about oral hygiene and finding great products that work best for our patients. Daniel takes a thorough yet gentle approach to oral care. On his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, painting, and watching TV.
Lauri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1998 when she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Prairie State College. She has also obtained a multi-disciplinary Certificate in Geriatrics from UIC College of Medicine, which helps her to better serve her senior patients. Continuing education classes keep her up to date on new developments in Dentistry. She strives to treat all of her patients with attention to detail and the highest level of gentle compassionate care.

I've been going to Prairie Dental for years!! This is by far the best dentist office. The front desk is amazing and Michelle is so kind. Their new dentist is amazing and very reassuring. HIGHLY recommend!

Staff are so friendly. Michelle at the front desk is always helpful with appointments and any insurance issues. Dr Macwan is not only friendly, but knowledgeable and THOROUGH in her exams and treatments. I love this place!

Having reached a certain age of "maturity" () my front teeth had become structurally fragile & cosmetically unattractive. Dr Golshani proposed a solution, & I could not be happier with the results. The same can be said for the experience. Dr Golshani & her team were considerate, encouraging, comforting, & extremely helpful in every way - including maximizing my insurance benefits (thanks Michelle ). I highly recommend Prairie Walk Dental of Oak Park.

I love Prairie Walk Dental of Oak Park! I was new to the area last year and overwhelmed with choosing a dentist, but I'm SO glad I went here! Dr. Golshani is just so sweet. I came in for a day-of appointment with a tooth issue and she really spent her time with me figuring it out, when I feel like at that point, most other dentists would have just sent me home. I've had a lot of dental work in the past and really do trust that she gives the absolute best care. Kim, Michelle, Daniel, and Susan are all awesome! Very friendly and super helpful! Plus the location is in downtown OP and has a nice view! Highly, highly recommend!!!

We have been going here for 14 years. The new dentist is also kind, gentle, patient, and friendly. I got a crown for the first time and it was such a good experience. The dentist and assistants talked to me throughout, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, checked in constantly to be sure I did not have pain - ideally your teeth stay healthy and you don't get a crown, but if you have to get one, I highly recommend this dentist!!

I was recently evaluated and treated at Prairie Walk Dental of Oak Park and received a crown. I am truly excited to write this note about the services I received. Dr Golshani in addition to her superb skills her ability to prepare me mentally and emotionally was examplary. The cooperation between her and her technical team created a great deal of comfort and confidence that everything would work as planned The Staff were remarkably courteous and helpful from my arrival to the end of the visit I strongly recommend their services Personally important was the convinience of location and low fee parking garage.

I had been a patient of Dr. Chris Thomas for 25 years and had perhaps some reservation as to his selling his outstanding practice to someone who just did not fit what I was looking for... Well I just left Prairie, the 3rd visit since Dr. Thomas has left for Baby Care, Golf, & Sking, and bottom line I find it most satisfying. Michelle, who is fantastic and always was; Daniel, who was new to me was first class; and Dr. Golshani once again showed her intense reviw of my dental needs but also with a genuine caring from a personal touch. I could not be happier with this transistion.

Excellent Dentist, Dr. GOLSHANI has patience and she is nice and gentle. I have been coming here over 25 years and would drive hours if I had to just because I love this office and all their staff so much. You feel like family when you walk in the door .

This is a great place and a pillar of the community. They do a great job and very transparent about prices and etc. They provide detailed plans and procedures to make sure you have clean and healthy white teeth. Great place and they easily get 5 stars!
