Dr. Rawcliffe is a native of Orem, Utah in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University then furthered his education by completing a General Practice Residency in Hartford, Connecticut. He was thrilled when his journey led him to Central Texas, which he loves, and he has established himself as a trusted dentist in the community.
Dr. Rawcliffe lives with his wife and four young children, who are his pride and joy. His interests include outdoor activities, running, obstacle races, disc golf, and college football. He enjoys involvement in his church and is fluent in the Russian language. He is also a fantastic clogger!
I have been in the field of dentistry for the past 43 years with the last 23 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I obtained my Dental Hygiene degree in 1998 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. My goal is to build a lasting relationship with our patients while helping them through the process of maintaining a healthy mouth. I strive to employ the Golden Rule and treat my patients with respect.

Cheyan has enjoyed working alongside Dr. Rawcliffe for six years and has been in the dental field for 11 years. She is overjoyed to help Dr. Rawcliffe create beautiful smiles and to see the progress of patients confidence. Cheyan enjoys meeting new people and goes above and beyond to make patients feel at home. She has experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, oral conscious sedation and IV sedation.
In 2020 I became a patient of Dr. Rawcliffe shortly after moving to Texas. I am now fortunate to have joined an amazing practice. Dr. Rawcliffes staff allwork so well together to provide excellent dental care.
I have been a RegisteredDental Assistant for 30 years and have experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, IV and conscious sedation. I enjoy getting to know our patients and helping them feel comfortable and provide the most positive experience possible.
Debbie Beach is originally from New Mexico where she graduated from New Mexico State University with a Business Administration Degree. She moved to Michigan where she lived and worked for almost 20 years before moving to Austin, TX. She received her dental assistant license in 2010 where she has worked in Oral Surgery, Periodontics and General dentistry.
I enjoy the positive work environment and appreciate the attentive care Dr. Rawcliffe and the team strives to provide for every patient. We all work extremely well together to provide the best service for you.
Debbie is committed to working with our patients and their families to create a most comfortable, stress free and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and dog Dakota.

Dr. Rawcliffe and his staff are great! Everyone has made me feel welcome and comfortable during my appointments! Tracey, Blanca and Laura were so friendly and helpful. Always greeted with smiles! They even covered me with a warm fuzzy blanket during my procedure and gave me a neck pillow! Very cozy and clean office... I wanted to follow-up from my last review (below). I scheduled an appointment for myself and recently received a cleaning and once again, this office provided great services! For those who are nervous when going to the dentist, the front office staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very comfortable. Also I wanted to mention that the Dental hygienist who helped me last time was actually Beth, not Laura. Beth is the most amazing person, she's very gentle as she can be on your teeth, she's very attentive and informative about how she performs her services. I left there feeling great and with a beautiful, clean smile! Totally recommend this place if you're looking for great service and comfortability! Original review: It was my first time here and from the moment you walk in you can feel the welcomeness! The Dental hygienist Laura was very friendly and patient with my 14 year old son. She explained every detail, made sure that he knew how to take proper care of his teeth and just overall the importance of dental hygiene. My son is always nervous going to dentist and this was the first time he said he enjoyed his visit and wanted to keep coming to this office. The dentist was also very friendly and attentive to all of the questions we had. This will be our permanent spot going forward and I will be scheduling my own visit here as well! Thank you for making my son feel comfortable!

I've been going to Prairie Star Dental for a few years now. I really didn't like going to the dentist on the past but since I've been going to Prairie Star, my attitude has changed. I like going to the dentist now. The ladies up front do an excellent job at getting you checked In and out very quickly. Dr. Rawcliffe and all of the Dental assistants are very professional and are very good at what they do. I will gladly recommend Prairie Star Dental to everyone. Bethany is truly the best hygienist I've ever had. I have a small mouth and every hygienist I've had before comments on it and makes me feel super self conscious, but Bethany has never mentioned it. She's gentle, thorough, and she doesn't ask awkwardly timed questions that are hard to answer with tools in my mouth. My husband and I have both been very happy with this dental office.

Bethany is the kindest, most thorough and amazing hygienist I've been to! I am absolutely amazed at how she makes me feel at home every time I visit her. She makes me feel like I'm the only patient in the entire office. I don't feel rushed, but she always values my time. Place left a disabled veteran half treated, in pain, due to lack of communication with the VA that failed, without any word or communication in the mean time... when asked for something then got told oh we are not working with you or the VA anymore. A joke.... they moved to Austin Texas without the Austin Texas manners.

My experience with the latest visit was great! Everyone was no nice. Kerri explained everything to me like no one ever did before at any dental office and took good care while cleaning. Dr. Rawcliffe was great to interact with. They're definitely using all the latest technology and state of the art machines. Going to stick with them for years to come and recommend for anyone in the area. Thank you for such a great experience, Prairie star team!

If you want all of your dental needs in a one stop shop, Prairie star dental is the office that you would want. I've had very poor teeth and I have been to multiple dental offices and this one hands-down is the best office I've ever been to. They use this vibrating tool When they give you the numbing injection and you can't even feel anything. They really care about the comfort of the patient and of course the quality of service is outstanding. If I could leave this office more than five stars I would but don't take my word for it, you should go check them out if you need any dental work

Absolutely amazing staff!!! Had an emergency and needed a tooth pulled, I called at 5:30 Tuesday evening they squeezed me in at 10:30 Wednesday, by 11:45 my tooth was out and I was on my way out the door. Very compassionate Dr and staff!! I don't go to the dentist because, well they hurt, they restored my faith! I will be going back. God bless y'all!!

My family changed to this dental office after having too much troubles from previous dental office. All of my family are happy with their service so far. The receptionists, the dental hygienists, the dental assistants and the dentist are all very professional and super friendly. The office is elegantly decorated and super clean. I highly recommend this dental office.
