We want all of our patients to have their oral health taken care of and have lots of fun at the same time! As a pediatric dental practice, our entire office is centered around children and their unique needs. Some of our kid-friendly amenities include:
Dr. Gill was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She received her bachelors degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Gill went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1987. She is also a military veteran and served as a commissioned officer in the Army, Air Force, and Public Health Service. While in the military, Dr. Gill completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry at OSU/ Nationwide Childrens Hospital in 2002.
Dr. Gills interests outside of work include working on her hobby farm, classic automobiles (especially Mustangs), music, the great outdoors, travel, and languages. Dr. Gill has a passion for all things of great beauty and values that which improves ones quality of life.
Dr. Fabiola Casanova was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico and then completed her Dentistry degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. After graduation, she completed two years of residency at The Ohio State University. Dr. Fabi is a dog mom to a beautiful Goldendoodle named Woody. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, beach volleyball, snowboarding, and baseball games!
Dr. Marcus was born in Columbus, OH, but has lived a relatively nomadic lifestyle, living as far east as New Jersey to way out west in Hawaii. He earned his bachelors degree in biology and graduated with honors from Pepperdine University in 2009. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Marcus moved to Hawaii to work at a federally qualified health center serving the general public. It was there that he realized his love of working with little ones. After three years in the rainbow state, he headed to the University of California Los Angeles to complete his specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 2018.
When Dr. Marcus isnt working, he spends his summertime doing as many things outside as possible (anything involving water is the best!) and wintertime with friends in the gym or finding new movies, shows, and books to fill his time keeping warm inside. As long as he is staying active, he is happy!

a week prior to my Kids appointment they called me to cancel an appointment that I have been waiting for the past 3 month. They decided not to take new patients. It's just nonsense to give such a short notice for an appointment that had been scheduled 3 month ago. Also they never pick up the phone or call back after leaving a voicemail.

Yesterday, my 20 month old had a first time cleaning @prairie kids dental. The front desk was super friendly and very polite. My little one really enjoyed playing in the lobby with all the toys they had. It made her super comfortable to be there. Once we got to the back, the 2 ladies who did her cleaning were SO AMAZING. They walked in the room with big smiles and such friendly voices so again, my little was happy and not scared at all. They did her cleaning super fast so there was no holding my baby down while she screamed. . We were in and out in a timely manner. I really enjoyed all the staff and the experience my little one for her first time at the dentist. Would deff recommend!!

This place is a joke. My son has been dealing with tooth pains since before Thanksgiving (it is now April) and they pulled one tooth in November that was already loose then my son started having worse pain. Thsy scheduled surgery to fix all the stuff wrong at once. They tried saying it was normal, however they were wrong and when I took him in for a follow up they found MULTIPLE root pieces that they LEFT IN HIS GUMS!!!! I then tried reaching out many MANY times and left countless voicemails that went unanswered. His surgery has been moved 3 times now. Once due to covid the other 2 due to scheduling issues on their end and office closure for "training" now his surgery is next week and I have some questions and their phone was on an auto message for THREE hrs saying it was lunch time. Then after that it has been their office is closed. (Which it is not) thwy never answer their phones and IF they do they are always rude and short. smh RUN THE OTHER WAY. save your child and yourself the headache.

My son has been there a couple times in the past year and a half and both times they've done a stellar job, both with the work that they did on his teeth and also making him feel comfortable going to the dentist at 5 years old.

They most definitely went above & beyond for my daughter. They got her in super fast, once we got their we went straight back. We was in & out at a very timely manner. And my daughter had so much fun in the play area!!!

This office is the only dentistry that my son will cooperate at. He is a very jittery guy and will not sit still for long. I have to go with him to support him and help calm him down. Everyone that we have had to see there has been nice,respectful and energetic. It is a fun environment for the kids even though it is a dental office. I can honestly say that I have no negative feelings or experiences her. Today my son had to go in for xrays and exam. Granted he needs dental surgery so he has been referred to children's but all my questions where answered in Layman's terms. I was always treated well and with kindness and respect. Thank you to all the employees at that office you all seem to love your career and working with everyone.

Absolutely love this dentist office for my children. We had a bad experience at a previous pediatric dentist in Grove City, OH, and my children were begging for a new dentist. Everyone here was absolutely incredible and super nice and professional.

I am SO GLAD my dentist recommended bringing my 6 year old daughter here. We had a bad experience somewhere else before so I had been nervous moving forward. I did not expect the experience to go as smoothly as it did. She had X-rays, a cleaning, 2 fillings and sealant put on her molars all in about 40 minutes. They were so patient and kind. Took the time to explain things to her and show her tools they were using. My biggest worry was how numbing her would go but they are seriously PROS at this! She was completely clueless on what actually happened. I wish I had the same experience when I was her age, then maybe I wouldn't be such a nervous wreck going to my dental appointments. I am so grateful for my daughter to have had such a positive experience. Thank you so much!

My sons has supposedly been on a wait list to be seen for 7 almost 8 months. I call and every week they change their days. So today i called and they shut their phone lines off but yet when you call says they are open until 430. Tuesday and thursday and today is THURSDAY!! But yet I pull up at 1140 and they are closed??!! I'm confused on how this business is even operating now. I see a ton of doc offices open for business 5 days a week. And yet you guys clearly are only taking 3 patients a day 2 days a week. I'm pretty sure you can be open longer and take more patients. But I guess that's yall money yall losing. Just sad!!

Excellent experience and very friendly/encouraging staff. Both my girls(age 2 and 4) had their first ever dentist appointments and were very comfortable and excited. They did not rush anything and really do what the child is comfortable with. I especially appriciate how they explained to my children what they were going to do before they did it. They take insurance through medicade as well

My daughter and I love this dentist. Everybody is so nice and makes it such a pleasant visit. My daughter has anxiety (bad dental experience elsewhere) and all of the staff work so great with her. She loves being able to watch tv while they clean her teeth. The office is super clean. I highly recommend.
