Dr.Vlk has been creating beautiful smiles and providing excellent dental care for over 15 years. He grew up in Crystal Lake, and aspired to become a dentist from a young age. After completing his undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University, Dr.Vlk went on to graduate at the top of his dental class at the University of Illinois College ofDentistry.
Dr.Vlk is committed to continuing education, and has taken extensive study courses in porcelain veneers, comprehensive treatment planning, periodontics, implant dentistry, rotary endodontics, implantology, oral cancer detection, aesthetic dentistry, and gum diseasemanagement.

Dr. Vlk and staff provide superior dental service. I drive out of my way to have cleanings and other dental work done at Prairie Garden Dental. Dr. Vlk is a world-class dentist and will make sure you are satisfied. Throughout your time with him he's always checking in to make sure you are doing ok and is very patient in answering any questions you may have.

Great dentist! Makes you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. They use an abundance of caution because of covid, so you will feel comfortable. They also have good beside manners. I recommend using them!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Vlk and Prarie Garden Dental for about 20 years. There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe our visits to Prarie Garden Dental and the kind, compassionate and professional care that we've received there. Dr. Vlk is like a friend as he's genuinely concerned for his patients dental care and oral health. He has the best Dental Hygienists on staff and if you need a speciality referral, he is connected to the best in the area. I'm 55 and I've seen many Dentists so I can confidently say with my experience that Prarie Garden Dental is the best in the area ! Try them, you'll be very happy that you did !

My husband and I have been going to Prairie Garden Dental for many years and have never had better experiences. Dr. Vlk is meticulous in his care and procedure and is very gentle as is also the hygienist. The staff is friendly and caring starting when you first walk in and are greeted. I would recommend this Prairie Garden Dental to everyone!

I've been traveling miles to see Dr Vlk for years now - everyone is friendly and kind - it's nice to have people that care about your teeth working on you - he's the master at no pain anesthesia/ you don't feel a thing - I highly recommend Prairie Garden Dental!

I highly recommend Dr. Vlk and his entire team at Prairie Garden Dental. Dr. Vlk is the most gentle and the most caring dentist around. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and put you right at ease from the moment you walk in the front door until the moment you leave. He provides the most comprehensive care and really listens to all of your concerns. He is also very honest and upfront about all treatment. He truly treats all patients as if they were members of his own family. I couldn't be happier with choosing Prairie Garden Dental for my entire family.

My son and I absolutely love the comfort we feel being in the chair at Prairie Garden Dental. Finding healthcare providers that I truly trust to care for me and my son has always been a number one priority. It sets my mind at ease knowing I've found a dental home for us both that treats us like family. My cleanings are always gentle and thorough (even my 10 year old enjoys them!). Dr. Vlk is unlike any other dentist you'll find.
