Drs Resnick and Ettle perform a variety of procedures ranging from aiding you with your oral hygiene to orthodontics and dental implants. They utilize an i-Cat 3D cone beam imaging machine to digitally map out your mouth.
Dr. Alex Provo joined the Prairie Dental Centers team in 2015. Dr. Alex believes in providing the highest quality dentistry in a caring, friendly and stress free environment. Dr. Alex enjoys all faucets of dentistry and has received advanced training in I.V. sedation, Oral Surgery and Implants and continues to participate in CE courses to maintain his skills and techniques to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Dr. Alex grew up in Detroit Lakes, MN and earned a degree from the University of North. He majored in Biology and was a member of the football team. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Alex is excited to be back in northern MN where he lives with his wife and son. He enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, hunting, fishing and going to the lake.

Terrible customer service over the phone. She was very rude about what she had to say to me. I think they need to learn a little bit of hospitality and how to greet and talk to patients over the phone or just get someone new to take calls.

Beware of any negative comments you may make. They will retaliate and in my experience discriminated against my minority minor child. My daughter was pre approved 100% by insurance for orthodontics. My daughter simply expressed how uncomfortable and upset she was that their staff were loudly talking about her in the next room. Parent was in a different area with another younger sibling and also was not aware she had left the review fyi..but was aware of daughters treatment and how upset she was after leaving appointment . I received a letter stating my daughter was not welcome for any dental services due to her online review, they even sent me a copy of this review which was not derogatory and frankly was one of the better examples of positive criticism compared to the others. A minor child does not deserve to be treated this way. The office didn't even attempt to contact me to ask why she felt he privacy was disrespected. They either need to invest in some actual doors for patients rooms, or teach their staff about how medical confidentiality really works. The chatter from all the staff was indeed very loud. This all happened a year ago now, but I see that with the current score they have, that nothing has probably changed. Their review average is far more important than treating kids with dignity and respect.

I was supposed to have anesthesia but was fully conscious the entire time, they also made comments about my scars and body, had me in tears over talking about personal life, please dear god don't go here

Everyone here was so friendly and awesome! Especially Kim, seriously great "bedside manner" and super friendly and professional! Dr. Provo was professional and addressed all of my concerns and questions. Actually looking forward to coming back in six months!

Absolutally WONDERFUL denists. My toddler was so scared to get her teeth checked they walked her right through it had her laughing and smiling. Highly reccomend. Will be staying there no matter the 2 hour drive

First off, the fat pile that calls himself a dentist needs to learn to keep his mouth shut when it comes to personal life matters. Horribly disrespected the whole time. Would never recommend this atrocity to anyone.

The dentist and anesthesiologist David is incompetent and should never have gotten his license for anesthesia. I was given a general anesthetic and 10 seconds later my worst fear came true as I lay there fully conscious and able to feel my teeth ripped out of my mouth. The pain was excruciating, I was bawling the whole time trying to tell him with whatever noise I would make with a spreader in my mouth that I was awake and eventually he stopped and asked if I was conscious and having pain as if it wasn't obvious. I told him I'd obviously been awake the whole time and in extreme pain so then he just gave me more local anesthetic (novacain) and proceeded to finish ripping my teeth out. Most excruciating hour and a half of my life.

Went her for a dental appointment and it went very smooth. Everyone was nice and dentist obviously knew what he was doing. Highly recommend.

I am so grateful I found Prairie Dental Center! I feel like I have a whole team on my side to help me take care of my teeth. I've been over a dozen times and each time everyone is polite, helpful and gracious. I also love Dr. Resnick's sense of humor. Though my mouth is always open and I can't laugh!

Had to have some work done today, and I HATE going to the dentist. I can honestly say the women who dealt with me today were angels! They got me in quick (it was an emergency), gave me my options and even as I cried a bit and hyperventilated some, they did their best to keep me calm and got me through it as painlessly as possible. They are professional, kind, and extremely understanding.
