Dr. Tim Belnap earned his bachelors degree in chemistry from Brigham Young University (BYU). In 1985, Dr. Belnap graduated from Emory University, School of Dentistry. He spent three years in the Navy and has now been serving in the Rancho Peasquitos and Ramona, California, area for 27 years. Dr. Belnaps goal is to provide gentle, quality care, with the help of our great team, to all of our patients. Dr. Belnap attends over 30 hours of continuing education courses every year on the latest dental technology. He has taken numerous courses in CEREC technology. Dr. Belnap is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Belnap has been married for over 30 years. He and his wife have three beautiful daughters, three great sons-in-law, and seven awesome grandchildren. Dr. Belnap is a rabid BYU sports fan and loves to hack around any golf course.

Dr. W. Brandon Jergensen studied business at Brigham Young University (BYU). He then attended the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery, graduating in 2007. Dr. Jergensen takes courses in new technology to provide his patients with the most current techniques and materials. Our dentist is always looking for ways to improve himself as a dentist and to provide care in a comfortable way to his patients. Dr. Jergensen has received advanced training in CEREC technology.

Dr. Jergensen has been practicing in the San Diegoand Ramona, California, area since 2007. His goal is to provide excellent dental care to his patients and to their families by using the latest technology and techniques in a comfortable, caring atmosphere. Dr. Jergensen is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS).

Dr. Jergensen grew up in Poway, California. He has four brothers and two sisters. Dr. Jergensen married Carissa in 2012. They have three children: Carly is eight, Tyler is six, and Bryce is one. When not at the office, Dr. Jergensen enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and going to the beach. He also enjoys playing sports and attending sporting events. Dr. Jergensen supports the Chargers and Padres, the local teams. Dr. Jergensen is an Eagle Scout and speaks fluent Spanish, as he served a mission for his church in Chile.

Debi has been a part of our dental team at PQ Family Dental for nine years. She does her best to keep the hygienists schedule full. Debi enjoys getting to know patients and she truly cares about them and their needs. Debi loves working for an honest, ethical person who respects his employees. She also loves her coworkers. They are like family to her and they care about our patients. Debi is married and has four children and seven grandchildren. Debi loves helping others as a hobby. She also enjoys writing handwritten letters and making her own lotions and cleaning products.

Jean earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Idaho State University in 1983. In 1986, she earned her Master of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Jean is licensed in Virginia, Louisiana, and Hawaii. She has been licensed in California since 1984. Jean was an assistant professor at Louisiana State University and Northern Virginia Community College, teaching dental hygiene courses.

Jean has been a part of our dental team for eleven years. Years of experience and continual training in the most current dental hygiene treatments and procedures allow Jean to provide our patients with a comfortable, positive dental visit. She loves being a part of a wonderful team who help make our patients experience an easy and stress-free one. Jean has been married for 31 years and has two sons. When not in the office, Jean enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and exercising. She has run 22 marathons in 14 states, including three Boston marathons.

Jessica has been a part of our dental team for 18 years. She does her best to get to know the patient and create a friendly environment. Jessica tries to be as knowledgeable as she can about the patients insurance and financial needs to help make their dental experience go as smoothly as possible. Jessica enjoys being a part of our team because we are like family and she enjoys being with her coworkers every day. Dr. Belnap is very honest and kind. He treats his team and patients with respect. Jessica and her husband have been married for 20 years. They have two beautiful teenage daughters. When not at the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. Jessica and her family are NASCAR fans and hit the races whenever they can. When Jessica is on a health kick, she loves participating in triathlons with her daughter.

Julie graduated from the School of Dental Hygiene at the University of New Mexico in 1970. Julie has been with PQ Family Dental for 17 years. She brings enthusiasm and care to our practice. Julie absolutely loves connecting with patients to help them maintain optimal overall health. She loves the great quality that our office provides. She enjoys our wonderful, patient oriented team and the perfect mix of patients at our office. Julie believes that the best complement our office can receive is patients referring their friends and family to us. This happens continually. Julie and her amazing, supportive husband have been married for 45 years. They have two children and seven grandchildren. In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and knitting. She also has a beginning hand bag and soft luggage company.

Kelly graduated from Normandale Community College in 2000, earning an associates degree in dental hygiene. She also achieved a certification in dental assisting in 1998. Kelly has been a part of our dental team for 12 years. Kelly is known for her gentle touch and she strives to make your time as comfortable as possible. Kelly stays on top of continuing education and the latest in dental technology. She is a team player with a warm and friendly energy with our team and patients. Kelly loves that our practice and patients feel like family. You can trust our dentist and team. Kelly and her husband Jay have been married for over 12 years. They have two beautiful children. Peyton is 10 years old and Sydni is 8 years old. Kelly enjoys doing anything involving her children, softball, and part-time fun with Thirty-One.

Shelley has been with PQ Family Dental for 15 years. She tries to make sure that money is flowing into the practice to keep everything running at the highest level. Shelley enjoys that the people she works with are so warm and genuine. Their professionalism and knowledge is a credit to the practice. Dr. Belnap is honest and caring with his patients while providing excellent care. Shelley says its fun to work with her husband, as long as he gives her her way! Shelley and Dr. Belnap have three incredible daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law, and seven beautiful grandchildren.

Stacy has been an RDA for many years, with 15 years in surgery. She still loves what she does! Stacy has been with PQ Family Dental for over eight years. She does her best every day. Attitude is everything. Stacy loves that at our office, we are truly a family with life values and an emphasis on excellent patient care. This is a great place to work! Stacy is a mom to two great kids, Ian and Elyse, and a grandma to two beautiful boys, Maddox and Gage. They are the light of her life! Stacy is an avid fan of all water sports. She loves spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and dogs.

Carrie graduated from Kaplan College in 2009. She has been a part of our dental team for one year. Carrie contributes to our office by being awesome! She enjoys the family feel between the dentists and team, and between the team and dentists and our patients.

Julie has lived in Ramona, California, since 1987. She is involved in her church and Ramona Trails Association. Julie has worked at this office since 1995 and with PQ Family Dental since January 2008, so she knows a lot of the patients and knows many from the community. Julie tries to keep our schedule full to keep Dr. Jergensen busy. She also handles insurance and patient billing to minimize stress for our dentist and patients. Julie really likes Dr. Jergensens honesty and integrity when presenting treatment options to patients. He puts their best interest first. When not in the office, Julie enjoys fishing, camping, water skiing, and riding ATVs.

Once you are invited back to the exam room, one of our experienced dental hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth, including getting rid of stains and plaque and tartar deposits. She will also perform an oral cancer screening. To ensure that you use proper oral care at home, your hygienist will check that you are usingcorrect cleaning and flossing techniques.

Your dentist will ask you about any health problems that might adversely affect your oral health, such as diabetes or arthritis. He will also ask about any medications that you are taking that might influence your oral health.Once the comprehensive exam is completed, your doctor will discuss any recommended treatment with you and will make a treatment plan for your long-term oral health. If you need a couple of procedures performed, you can determine the timeframe for treatment.
