Dr. Poya Moghadam is a native of South Carolina. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at Clemson University in 2003. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, in 2007.
Dr. Mo has been practicing in Cherokee County and has dedicated himself to providing his patients with quality dental care. He lives by a very simple philosophy: Treat every patient like they are a family member. By following this rule, he has been able to provide his patients with quality work and maintain high ethical standards.
Keeping our services efficient and productive requires state-of-the-art dental technology. We utilize digital X-rays and panoramic X-rays to get a clear picture of a patients teeth and how they are situated in the jaw. We also use intraoral cameras to get a better view of a patients teeth and gums, and patients can also see what we see on the computer screen. We strive to offer same-day treatment post-diagnosis whenever possible as well to keep visits both productive and convenient.
Not every dental office offers prompt emergency dental care, but our team can help you or anyone in your household when you need us most. Simply give our office a call, and we will offer advice over the phone and then begin preparing a treatment room. Dental emergencies can range from a throbbing toothache or dislodged tooth to unusual gum swelling or bleeding to a dental abscess. While we hope youll never have to see us for a dental emergency, we are always available to assist if necessary.

My family and I have been coming here since I was a teenager and now that I have children of my own they come here as well. Dr. Mo and his staff are so nice and friendly.

I've been going to see Dr. Mo for several years for cleanings, fillings and crowns. Dr. Mo & his entire team are always so friendly and professional. I've probably had around 70 dental visits in my 25 years of life, primarily due to a crown for one of my front teeth that broke when I was 7. I went to a number of dentists and one Dr. Mo went above and beyond to get it just perfect. He actually cares and his team is fantastic as well!

I left my previous dentist because I thought she was scamming me for money. What a difference this place is compared to my previous dentist. My dental hygienist, Jenn, was awesome, very personable, and very thorough in her cleaning. Dr. Mo is great and was prompt to get to me. I will definitely continue to come back here as I had a great experience. Thank you!

I have been a patient for about 10 years. Always an excellent experience. Jenn and Dr. Mo always take great care of my family. My 8 year old son loves going to CMD. That says a lot right there! How many kids can say they love going to the dentist

I, and my family, have been clients of Dr. Mo' and company for a number of years. They are highly competent, highly professional, and they really make things easy for their patients. The office environment has always been clean, neat, and comfortable. And, their new location is is even better! Jen has been my Hygenist for almost all of that time and she's the best! She's friendly and personable and does a great job cleaning your teeth. It is such a good experience that you are done before you know it, it's hard to break away, and you look forward to the next visit. If you are looking for a great Dentistry Practice, this is it!
