Dr. Robert W. Fattouch is a board certified pediatric dentist who was been in private practice for over 15 years. He started Poway Pediatric Dentistry in March of 2012, after being at one of the most prestigious pediatric dental groups in Arizona for seven and a half years. Originally from Diamond Bar, California, Dr. Fattouch graduated from Diamond Bar High School and then went on to attend the University of California, at Riverside. He played on the U.C. Riverside mens soccer team and was a founding father for the Theta Lambda chapter of the international fraternity, Delta Tau Delta.
He graduated in 1997 with his Bachelors of Science in Biology and with a minor in History from U.C. Riverside. After graduation, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend Temple University School of Dentistry, the second oldest dental school in the country. Upon completing dental school, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), he completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and was then accepted to the Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center Pediatric Dentistry residency in Brooklyn, New York. He lived in Brooklyn for two years, completing his pediatric dental training, and then decided to move to Arizona. Dr. Fattouch is a family-oriented person, and after so many years away from his family, he decided it was time to move back to Southern California and settle close to them. After searching the San Diego and Orange County area, he decided that Poway was the place to settle down, establish his practice, be close to his family, and hopefully start one of his own soon.
I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to an amazing son. I love pediatric dentistry because I get to work all day with the cutest, funniest patients in the dental field. I enjoy spending time off work with my family.
I have been in the Dental field since 1999. Started working in the back office as a DA X-ray technician in a general and pediatric office. Now I am using my experience to run the office and enjoy seeing and interacting with the patients and their families. I love being a part of an amazing team. Poway Pediatric Dentistry has been more than just the place of work we are family. I am originally from Imperial Valley and currently reside in North County with my four teens: Herbert, Beatriz, Josie, and Emma. I enjoy cross fit, hiking, camping, swimming, movies and spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. We strive to help you and your loved ones to a healthier smile: see you soon.
I have been in the dental field for over 10 years as an RDA. I first started out my career in General Dentistry and started working in Pediatrics with Dr Fattouch in 2017 and I absolutely love it. Working with children is such a great joy especially when you see the excited look on a child 's face when they hear those words 'You have no cavities'.
Our office is located at 15835 Pomerado Rd., Suite 303 in Poway, at the intersection of Pomerado Rd. and Bernardo Heights Pkwy. We are a few miles just east of the 15 Freeway in the north San Diego county area, near Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos and Escondido.

I have mixed feeling of this place. My kid has come to this place for a couple years. The dentists are fair and professional. But some of the office staff are rude and very confrontational...

This is hands down the best dentist office ever. The staff is so kind and efficient, the doctors have done an amazing job with my difficult children. Scheduling and billing have never been an issue. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I really love this place and the dentist, he's always good with my child but tell me why I have to pay $45 for last minute cancellation. I called At least 2 hours in advance, I could've called earlier, but the website didn't give me a time of when they opened because they only open one Saturday per month, well anyways my son has covid. And I was thinking maybe I should've taken him in instead of having to pay $45, which is due when i reschedule for his next appointment.

I have mixed reviews. The dentist is fine and i did feel that he did provide fair and honest evaluations. I have had several issues with the office staff. We have had 2 instances of cancellations WITHOUT email or phone calls. Two separate instances, i took time off of work, took my daughter out of school, and showed up to an office without a dentist. Once (April 2022) the staff was having an office party/professional development day. When i questioned the staff on the last time, they said they had called and needed to verify the number but then two days later, when we came back, they said they fired a receptionist because multiple people had the same issue. I doubted the honesty because the manner communicated seemed disingenuous. Before she hung up, there was not statement such as, "are you there?" it was a quick hang up. I called again today. "Billing wasn't going to be available until next week." I asked when next week i could talk to billing and they hung up on me. The other office rep was quick to indicate that the first rep did apologize. The 2nd rep stated the first rep couldn't hear me but the first rep did answer my questions.

We had a wonderful experience here! It was my 11 month old daughter's very 1st dental visit and I was nervous how she would react. The Dr and all staff members were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable! It's nice they escort you from the parking lot, with no one else in the waiting room! Felt like VIP treatment! The office is beautifully decorated with TVs on the ceiling in the operatories! Very happy we chose this practice!

Avoid this place if at all possible. Communication sucks. They don't return calls when they say they will. Timing sucks. They don't keep anywhere close to the actual appointment time (I understand that some appointments may run over a little but over an hour difference is really inconvenient, especially when you haven't eaten in over 8 hours for your appointment). The only reason I am giving 1 star is because of the dentist himself. Office and Oral Surgeon need improvement.

From the moment I called the office I knew I had found the right place! Betty the office manager was so patient answering my questions and helping me out with setting up an appointment that was ideal for the time frame I needed. I had a lot of anxiety because I have had bad dental expirience before. I have a special needs child and it is always a little more challenging to find the right fit. I was blown away by the greeting committee and they automatically put my lil man at ease. Words aren't really enough to express the appriciation for the way that Dr. Fattouch treated my child. He was also super attentive and answered all of my questions in a way that I would undestand everything the treatment entailed. Alexis and Vanessa the assists were also super sweet . You can tell Dr. Fattouch invest a lot of time into selecting his staff because this is not just a team ...they are a dental family and it shows . I will never take my child anywhere else. when I got into the car with my lil man he asked when we were going back and that just brought me to tears ....I can't thank you enough Dr Fattouch!

Just had our first appointment at this office and the kids really liked it. This was our first time going to a dentist and none of my kids left crying. The dentist was efficient and professional. He and the nurses were great at keeping things low key by talking to my kids while they were working with them. My daughter doesn't like the water tool they use that sprays in her mouth, so they said, "No problem, we'll just let you rinse with a cup." That made all the difference for her. They did all three kids simultaneously and it felt a little fast, but in a way that was great because it didn't give my kids time to work up and get anxious. We'll definitely be going here again.
