Consumers Research Council of America selected Dr. Pousson as one ofAmericas Outstanding Dentistsbased on a point value system for education, continuing education, membership in professional associations, and experience. In 2017 the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce awarded Dr. Pousson the Slidell Humanitarian Award along with Dr. Bradley Dickerson. In 2019 Dr. Pousson was awarded the Top Slidell Dentist Award by Edge Magazine.
Never satisfied with mediocrity, he consistently exceeds the yearly requirement for continuing education courses. This includes pursuing and receiving his oral conscious sedation dentistry license and graduation from the F.A.C.E. Institute, which involved 268 hours of lectures, lab, and clinical training over an eighteen month period. F.A.C.E.
