Dr. Poulos grew up in Orange County, where she graduated in 1975 from Troy High School. She graduated from Point Loma College with honors with a degree in Biology. Dr. Poulos is a 1984 graduate of UCLA Dental School.
Dr. Poulos has been practicing in the San Luis Obispo north county area since 1984, and at her current location since 1989.She focuses her practice on preventive, restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Poulos uses custom porcelain shade matching and an artful approach to design a natural and balanced smile for dentures, porcelain veneers, crowns, and other cosmetic restorations.
Dr. Poulos and her husband Ron Poulos have raised their family in Cambria. Ron is a longtime local math and computer teacher at Santa Lucia Middle School. Dr. Poulos enjoys playing her Celtic Harp with many of our talented musicians here in Cambria for various community events, concerts, and weddings. She also plays piano and keyboard with the worship music team at the Vineyard Christian Church. She has recorded CDs including her original celtic songs with the Jeweled Sky celtic music group, and sings in the North County Chorus for Cuesta College.
Rene has worked for Dr. Poulos since 2008. Rene is also a soccer coach for his son who attend San Luis Obispo High School; he also has a son attending Cuesta College. Rene and his wife have lived in the San Luis Obispo area for years.

You are the most helpful and competent dentist I have ever met. Because of you, I don't have to feel self-conscious about having a big smile that shows off my teeth. I recently chipped my right front tooth on a pistachio nut. I needed this fixed before my trip to Memphis. Roberta and Dr. Poulos got me in right away and before my trip I had 2 beautiful front porcelain crowns. Fantastic service! I am one happy customer!!!
