I've been going to Joseph Potvin for 18 years. I've been waiting for phase 2 to begin so I could call for an appointment. I had been waiting since the end of March to get in because we were in Quarantine. I called this morning to see about getting in because I have had a loose wisdom tooth since the beginning of quarantine. They asked if I was a patient and what I needed. They promptly told me that they couldn't get me in for a few months and that I would have to try and see if I can get in with another dentist! I said well who do you recommend, well she couldn't say! I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in this office loyalty and dedicated patients apparently isn't what they are looking for. I have see the staff in this office change in the last few years and so have my children. I will be recommending that my children find a different dentist office to go to one that cares about the patients and that doesn't want to shove you off to some random dentist! I don't know if Joe Potvin knows this is happening and people are being treated poorly by his staff or he does and it doesn't matter! Respectfully, Mary C

I had a fear of the dentist....Mitch Potvin made it so I wasn't scared, I was comfortable and no longer afraid to get my teeth taken care of. He does great work, the office staff is courteous and everyone who works here is amazing. I love going to the dentist.....something you dont hear many people say

Great dentists both Dr Joe and Mitch! I've been a patient for more than 10 years and bring all 4 of my kids to them. The staff, hygentists and dentists are great with kids!

Great dentist but very poor knowledge on business ethics! As someone who handles medical insurances, its the business who is responsible for asking what type of plan you have when stating the insurance carrier to see seen. Beware and dont let them add a bill in your name because they do not care to use the appropriate measures. I hope some training on how to enter new patients is under way soon! Not to mention a change in the receptionists rude attitude. Please update this lady on correct prodecures from the 2000s. I have no doubt in my mind that you have lots of unpaid invoices and its time to look at who is really at fault. I pray that you have a qualified office manager there who can give you help soon. If not, look into that too since someone is not doing the job correctly.

Heard great recommendations on this dentistry, yet when I called in November of 2015, the next available appointment wasn't until March of 2016. So I was placed on a "if a patient cancels" list. It's now mid April and I haven't heard a thing. This place appears to have high recommendations, however, maybe customer service should be worked on. If I scheduled the "next" March appointment, I'd already have had an appointment; yet here I am looking for other dentists being that this one seems to not care about gaining new patients that will stay with them for the long haul. Completely disappointed.
