Dr. Thakkar received his bachelors degree in Computer Science from Chicago, Illinois in 2005. He then moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his senior year of dental school, he was honored to serve the veterans at the VA hospital in Togus, Maine. He graduated from dental school in 2009 and had an opportunity to help the underserved population in the south of Chicago for two years. He finally deiced to move to Texas in 2011 because he fell in love with the warm weather and warm-hearted people of Texas.
Dr. Thakkar has been practicing dentistry for over seven years and is committed to keeping up with the latest advances in modern dentistry. He completes many times the required number of continuing education hours every year. He genuinely believes every patient should be treated as one of his family members. He is passionate about dentistry and loves helping his patients improve their smiles and quality of life. Dr. Thakkar is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and son, Yash when he is away from doing dentistry.

I love this office. The staff is great. They are all very friendly, personable, and get to know you. They are good with answering any questions and addressing concerns. There's very little wait time. Once I finished filling out a couple of short registration forms, both my kids were called in. We got out when the appointment for my 2nd child was supposed to start (I had 2 apps scheduled back to back for my 2 kids). The hygienists and dentists also do a great job. At most other dental offices, I feel like they are rushed sometimes or schedule too many in a short amount of time to see more patients. As a result, the cleaning feels rushed or the dentist is quick to exit. . Here, they take the time to do each cleaning or other services thoroughly and make sure you have absolutely no questions or anything else to say before they go. They also worked with me in terms of scheduling...my and my kids schedules are very busy but they took the time to look at each dentists schedules and find a time where the short procedure can be done during a convenient day, which are the weekends. They also are going to follow up and call back about a question I had that they would need to look into....and I know they will call back because this isn't the first time. The other times, they got back to me with information or an answer very quickly. Again, at most other dental places, they forget to follow up and call or I would have to call to remind them. And when I would call, it's like they are hearing about it for the first time.so if you can't tell, I love this dental office. Even if it's just down the road, there are still at least 4 other dental offices closer to my home than this office, but I don't mind driving a little farther and longer because they make each experience easy. Dental visits are not a hassle or something I don't look forward to. Love this place.

I am really happy with the service, staff is really nice and welcoming. I had previously had a lot of anxiety about seeing dentists, but the team is nice and informative. They didn't make me feel bad about not previously better keeping up with my dental health (which I have experienced before) but I plan to continue going to this location.

I won't recommend this place to anyone. I just wanted a simple cleaning and instead they wanted to give me all these unnecessary treatments. I literally went their for nothing just to waste about 50 dollars just for x-rays. There prices are not cheap either. Sorry just giving my honest opinion

I needed an appointment as a new patient right away and they fit me in no problem. The staff was friendly, which was very calming as I knew that I would need plenty dental work done in a short amount of time. Not only is the doctor knowledgeable, but also caring. I feel that he and his staff will have me smiling again for years to come.

It was great besides the fact that dr. Coleman mentioned removing my wisdom teeth lol he said something about removing them before symptoms happen. I'm almost 30 and have had no issues and rather not go through that if it's not necessary

The doctor placed his thumb where he wanted the filling, started to move back while lining up the shot. Then with the other hand, reared back to gather the force required to propel the great-big hammer... Perfect filling placement! Seriously though, I think I was done before my appointment time even started. Quick, painless, and quick. My bite seems to be correct after a some quick tweaking afterward. No, he didn't actually use a comedically large hammer to do the filling. He used the right tool for the right job. Now we let some time pass to see if the filling stays where he put it.

I have a HORRIBLE fear of dentist the office staff, they listened to my issues, and promised all would be ok. Front ladies were simply amazing. Credit to Ethan who worked patiently with me and explained what he was doing every step. Even Dr Flores was kind and respectful towards my fear issues. I will be going back. Thanks for being so kind.

I was bummed they wouldn't clean my teeth without doing a "deep cleaning". After seeing the dentist with no issues, and getting X-rays, I was told I needed a deep cleaning that would require 1.5 hours (not to mention the extra costs). At this point, I was already there over an hour. My appointment was made 6 months ago, and should have been a basic teeth cleaning. When I opted to do the deep cleaning at a later date, I was told I couldn't get my teeth cleaned at all today. Big disappointment.
