I had a terrible experience here and would strongly recommend finding another facility to use. I do not feel they were honest regarding complications or finances, and I would strongly recommend any other facility.

Had my wisdom teeth removed. Procedure was quick. Recovery was as smooth as could be expected, and the office was available to answer my questions throughout, and even fit me in for a quick five-minute check-up when I wasn't sure if I was doing my cleaning properly.

Dr Nguyen was very dismissive of my daughters injury, almost as if ...since surgery was not needed he wasn't interested. He spoke extremely loud even when I told him that loud noise was causing her shooting pains from the nerve across her face. He also dismissed the pain from noise saying...well I don't know why that would be happening.

Best decision I've ever made was to visit Potomac Surgical Arts for my cosmetic procedure. Superior service from scheduling to the actual procedure itself. The entire staff is amazing, kind and very professional. Dr. Vigliante's expertise and knowledge is beyond measure. I highly recommend Potomac Surgical Arts!

I am not sure what's going on at this office. I had a consult w Dr. Sonneson for my son who was present and, instead of just telling me his opinion, he seemed to get very personally upset about thr prospect of removing my 14-yr-old son's 2 teeth, near his wisdom teeth. This was something a dentist had recommended to us. After a couple of weeks, I decide to cancel the appt. bc I am not comfortable with him working on my son who has autism. I call to cancel and the woman I spoke to wanted to know why I am canceling. (The appointment, btw, was not on the schedule anyway bc it had to be re-scheduled due to the fact it needed to be done in a hospital.) So I tell her the reason I don't want to schedule the surgery is personal. She hounds me and keeps asking me why I don't want to schedule. I said. 'So do you want the whole run down of our consultation? I don't understand.' She hassles me and, frankly, acts really unkind, and I finally say that I'm just not comfortable with Dr. S doing the procedure. She wouldn't even let it go, at that! She kept asking me and harassing me about it until I finally just said thank you and hung up. Idk what's going on with this office, but from my 2 brief experiences there, it has a very toxic vibe. Weird doesn't even come close to describing it. Idk why it seems to be a challenge to just consult with a patient, give your own view, and answer a couple questions, without the doctor getting angry and belligerent. Further, I don't get why it is a challenge to just not schedule an appointment for someone and not take something personal, as the admin asst. when the circumstance doesn't have anything to do with you. As I mentioned, I have a child with extra needs and sometimes these medical considerations can be complicated. There is not need to get offended, act huffy, and there is certainly no room for people getting irate and being rude to patients or patients' parents. When two professionals can't even touch the bar of professionalism during inital contact with a patient, this is a red flag, imo.

Dr. Sonesson of Potomac Surgical Arts, P.C. was very professional and my daughter received an excellent dental care. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. The best part was that the doctors were approachable even after business hours and they called back multiple times to check on the patient. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team was outstanding. We couldn't be happier with the results. Keep up the great work.

This is the second time (and second child) we have come here for a wisdom teeth extraction surgery. Both experiences were wonderful. The doctors followed up multiple days to make sure my kids were doing ok and that everything was going well with them. HIGHLY recommend this practice and their staff.

From start to finish I was treated with care and professionalism. Having oral surgery can be scary, but with the choice of being sedated there is no reason to be nervous. Dr. V is kind, skilled and you'll be glad you you went there.

I had my one of my tooth removed and I had the best experience. Well organized and caring, specially tooth removal process was made easy and local anesthetic work was great. Bone graft and later screw implant was done on timely manner and well done. Over all I recommend the place and I had no issues at all.

During my first visit on Friday 08 April 2022, I was nervous at the beginning, but the staff at the Potomac Surgical Arts were accommodating, helpful, and professional. The front desk provided me with the exact breakdown of proposed personal charges and what the insurance will pay. The nurse (I'm sorry I forgot your name due to the anesthesia) was an angel who provided all the needed support during the oral surgery, she explained the procedure and what to expect. Pain was excruciating but she provided all the needed help to ease the pain. Bless you! Dr. Craig Vigliante is an amazing oral surgeon. He explained the cause, and reasons behind the pain I was going through before the surgery. He was a patient gentleman, laid all the options for me and answered all the questions I had. He made my choices clear and simple to understand, and what the outcome would be. Thank you Dr. Vigliante for taking that pain away on the spot as you promised!! And I appreciate you for going beyond by fixing my crown during the oral surgery while I was under the anesthesia. Today marks a week later, and no one can imagine how grateful I am. Thank you again to the staff of Potomac Surgical Arts that took great care of me. I chose you wisely, and I will be seeing you again if the need arises. Jay Jabr

The staff was terrific and it was the best dental experience I've ever had. Courtney was a blessing and the dentist was caring, patient and professional. The office was clean and visibly pleasing to the eye. I would have all my dental work completed here. Had one little hiccup with having a second tooth extraction because I needed a consult that I deemed unnecessary, so I had to go to another oral surgeon to get the work done. I just felt if you have the referral and it's a simple extraction, that should be it. Especially because I live in WV and the price of gas is outrageous. Things could have been handled more efficiently being a senior and disabled. Other than that, I highly recommend them.

Dr. Sonesson and the whole staff are awesome. This was my third procedure at Potomac Surgical Arts. I had a cracked tooth (with an old root canal) removed and an implant installed last year in 2021. This 2022 procedure was a wisdom tooth extraction. It was quick and painless. Can't say enough about the whole staff at Potomac Surgical Arts. Thank you!

Amazing staff and care from This office . My 20 year old had to have a front tooth implant which was devastating to her after having several sets of braces , retainers and surgeries . They pulled all stops they could from getting the retainer made in 24 hours and accommodating her D1 sports schedule . Today she was thrilled with the temporary implant and can't wait for her permanent one which will be even better in 3 months . This journey started with tears but finishing with tears of joy! Thank you to the whole team

The entire staff that I dealt with were wonderful. Dr. Vigilante is professional, thorough and friendly which is what we all want in a doctor. He and his staff were good at explaining the surgery process and the recovery answering all my questions. I have a long way to go with my mouth and it's issues but I am confident in this practice. If you are looking for an oral surgeon, I would recommend Dr. Vigilante and this practice. They are a very efficient professional group.

I did a small procedure at the clinic. The staff is super friendly. Initial consult was very clear. Didn't really have to wait at all for both appointments. For the procedure, the staff was running a bit behind and let me know 2 hours ahead so I didn't have to be in the lobby waiting. Dr Vigliante was so professional, personable, straight forward and open about everything. I would absolutely recommend and come back!
