Shortly after graduating from Temple Dental School, Dr. Hau Le provided dental services to underserved and special needs children, which sparked her strong interest in treating children and young adults. With that passion, she pursued and completed a comprehensive pediatric dental residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York.
Since finishing her residency in 2012, Dr. Hau Le has been practicing pediatric dentistry throughout Dumfries Virginia. She takes tremendous pride in promoting positive dental experiences for her pediatric patients, as well as serving her local community.
On a personal level, Dr. Hau Le and her husband, Brian, have proudly chosen Woodbridge VA to be home. In their spare time, they enjoy cooking, jogging, watching sports, volunteering in the local community and spending time with their families.
Dr. Holmes is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. She came home to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Her lifelong desire to treat children led her to complete two additional years of specialty training as Chief Resident in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, a hospital consistently ranked in the top ten U.S. Children's Hospitals.
Dr. Holmes is an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has a true passion for treating children and believes that a friendly, positive environment creates the foundation for lifelong good dental health. Her philosophy in treating children 's dental needs comes down to, 'what would I do if this were my child?' and 'how would I expect my child to be treated?' Of course, treatment decisions are made by the parents and the provider.
In her spare time, Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and traveling. Dr. Holmes resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter, son and family dog Heath.
Dr. Eva Swenson has an international and diverse dental background. She combines her American and Scandinavian dental philosophies to bring a unique perspective to pediatric dentistry with a gentle, conservative, and preventative approach. She firmly believes that every dental visit should be a positive experience and that establishing a trusting relationship with her patients and their parents is the key to a lifelong positive attitude towards good oral health.
Dr. Swenson graduated from dental school at the Royal Dental College at Aarhus University in Denmark in 2010 with a Master of Science in Dental Surgery. After graduation, she worked as a general dentist in Norway, her home country, providing comprehensive dental care to children and adults. She then completed two years of general dentistry residency, one year at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington and a second year at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Her passion for working with children grew throughout this period. She was accepted into the Pediatric Postdoctoral Program at the University of Alabama School of Dental Medicine in Birmingham, where she earned her Pediatric Dental Specialty degree in June 2015. As part of her residency training, Dr. Swenson received intensive knowledge and training in the areas of pediatric medicine, behavior management, oral conscious sedation, dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia, and treating patients with special needs.
Dr. Swenson is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, and the Danish Dental Association.
Meet Dr. Anna! Dr. Anna loves seeing happy kids and happy parents every day. It is her goal to equip every child with the tools they need to maintain good oral hygiene, and to ensure that they enjoy visiting the dentist! She finds great satisfaction in the long term relationship she can have with patients.
Driven by her passion for pediatrics, Dr. Anna has been working with children since the beginning of her education in dentistry. She focused on pediatric, patient-centered studies, including working with the Infant Oral Health Care Club and the Craniofacial Center. Her dedication to caring for children led her to pursue earning her specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University, where she served as Chief Resident. As part of her residency, Dr. Anna excelled in working with children with autism.
Dr. Anna strives to make sure children have a safe and positive experience at the dentist. As a loving mother of two herself, she can relate to the feelings parents have when theyre making decisions about their childrens healthcare. Shes passionate about helping children overcome their fear of the dentist and teaching them how to have the best oral health possible.
