Dr. Eklund (aka Dr. Rhett) took over his fathers practice in 2003. He attended Loma Linda University in California and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants (IAMDI), the Academy of General Dentistry(AGD), the Washington County Dental Society (WCDS), and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and has completed a Nobel Biocare Implant Dentistry Residency.
Dr. Arlyn Logan joined Potomac Dental Centre in October 2020. Arlyn graduated from West Point Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science. As an Airborne Ranger, he has deployed to Korea, Kuwait, and Iraq, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University and completed a one-year residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C.

Claudia is our comptroller at Potomac Dental Centre. Her experience includes working as a physicians accountant at Inter-Medic Medical Center to more than 60 physicians. She measures productivity of our team and doctors. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with emphasis in accounting. She has worked at our Hagerstown, Maryland, dental practice since 2003.
Elsa started at Potomac Dental Centre in August 2014, in sterilization and clinic area maintenance, and soon after started to assist the dentist chairside. She has her Maryland Radiation License, Dental Assisting Expanded Function license, is a Qualified Dental Assistant and is phlebotomy trained. In June 2017, she shifted her role to work in our front office.
Chavelle was the general manager for Ulta Beauty when she decided to switch her career to the dentistry field. In 2018, she took on the role of office manager for a local practice. In August 2020, Chavelle joined our team at Potomac Dental Centre as our scheduling and patient coordinator.
Amanda joined Potomac Dental Centre in October 2020. She is our insurance coordinator and is cross trained for dental assisting. She has her Maryland Radiation License, Dental Assisting Expanded Function training and is phlebotomy trained.
Josie joined PDC in September of 2021. She is originally from Illinois. She received her bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in 2019 in Business specializing in hospitality/tourism. Josie helps the team as our hospitality coordinator & event planner.
Katie joined Potomac Dental Centre in 2012. Katie received dental assistant training at Hagerstown Community College. She has her Maryland Radiation License, Dental Assisting Expanded Function License, is a Qualified Dental Assistant, has her Orthodontic Assistant License and is Phlebotomy trained.
Lindsey joined Potomac Dental Centre in April 2019. She is a Certified Dental Assistant. She has her Maryland Radiation License, ACLS training, Dental Assisting Expanded Function training, is a Qualified Dental Assistant and is phlebotomy trained.
Penny joined Potomac Dental Centre in November 2019. Penny has her Maryland Radiation License, ACLS training, Dental Assisting Expanded Function training, is a Qualified Dental Assistant and is phlebotomy trained.
Jade joined Potomac Dental Centre in March 2021. She Attended Franklin County Career & Technical Center for Dental Assisting in 2020. She has a passion for the dental field and is currently working towards getting certified.
Piper was a hair stylist for 11 when she decided to change careers and work at PDC. She started in October 2021. She is a wonderful addition to the team with her energy and ability to connect with patients. She is working on her dental assisting certifications.
Lindsay joined Potomac Dental Centre in September of 2014. She graduated from Allegany College with an Associates in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She started as a dental assistant and later became a hygienist. She is Soft Tissue Laser and Nitrous Oxide trained.
Denise started at PDC in February 2020. She graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2009 with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She brings a team player attitude to the practice and enjoys learning new things. When not working, she spends time with her family and has written 2 childrens books.

I had an amazing experience at this place, I went in for tooth pain and was nervous with what was going to happen and they did an amazing job at explaining everything to me and making me super comfortable and relaxed, and most importantly they fixed the pain I was having!! I will for sure be a returning patient here!

The Potomac Dental Center was wonderful. The Drs and the staff are very dedicated to the patients. They take the time necessary to inform you every step of the way and give the necessary information to make you feel comfortable. It was a great experience today , start with a quick response to help me out to get an appointment in last minute , cuz I traveling overseas and need to check & clean my tooth before I travel. The front desk helps me out by find me an appointment with a great one Dennie's & Dr.Logan. Staff was amazing, saw me last minute for an emergency extraction... everyone was super friendly and kind. When she told me she was done, I was like "really?" Because there was absolutely no pain, and that tooth was wedged and cracked pretty good... These folks are truly top notch....

What a place! Nicest, cleanest, and friendliest dentist I've ever been to! The customer service alone won me over, but the cleanliness of everything even down to the smell was great. I was greeted right when I walked in, and was able to get my teeth problem fixed. I cannot recommend the family of Potomac Dental enough!!

Just had my 6 month check up and as always its a good experience. The staff is always in a cheerful happy mood and are very nice and respectfully. Dr. Rett gave me a new smile and a new life! I am forever grateful for him and his talented staff. About 6 years ago, I decided to pluck up courage to finally get major work done. Best decision ever. I took a lot of time researching dentists and he was by far the best in the area. I was so nervous because I needed so much work, but he and his team were not judgmental and made me feel welcome. If you are on the fence about going to see them, let me share this: THEY EXPLAIN EVERYTHING. Dr. Rett took x-rays and told me my options. I was given all the pros and cons of each option. He was kind and patient in explaining it. COST IS PLANNED. This was my biggest concern. They tell you the cost up front. You can see the entire estimate after the first visit. And Their admin team helped me get financing!! I had saved a little money so I had a down payment. But I think even if I hadn't, I could have financed it fully. You'll be surprised what you qualify for. I also had insurance which helped some. I actually paid my loan(s) off early! It made me wish I had done it earlier. HE'S SEEN IT ALL: You can't show him anything he hasn't seen before. He's a pro and you should never feel embarrassed when you are getting help you need. My procedures were very extensive because I needed a practically new mouth, mainly implants and crowns, etc. Everytime I came back, they smiled and made me feel at ease. The most important thing to remember is you need the work and you will feel amazing once it's all done. ITS NOT AS PAINFUL AS YOU THINK. When I felt any slight discomfort they provided medication. He was extremely gentle. I had major procedures over months - some that lasted hours, and I actually looked forward to the visits because I knew I was making progress each time. ITS OK TO BE PICKY: You are paying them to look the way you want, and they will let you decide. I required a lot of moldings and Dr Rett was so patient as I took my time deciding on the color of the implants and style of the way my smile was designed. I was pretty adamant I wanted permanent implants (as much as possible) and he delivered. He put up with my diva requests and made me look great! INTERIM IS COVERED: Dr. Rhett made sure I had temp teeth (non removable by me) while I was waiting for my permanent crowns after the extractions. This helped so much! SENSE OF HUMOR: They all have hilarious personalities and even dress up for Halloween. Dr. Rhett especially made me laugh during procedures. And the front desk staff had a pumpkin decorating competition and it was funny watching how competitive they were when one staff member kept winning. Felt like family. POST CARE: They told me how to take care of my teeth, got me a water Pik, and even helped me schedule regular cleanings twice a year. My insurance covered the cleanings fully. They really care!! This is an absolutely fabulous dental clinic!! 5 stars outstanding. I continued to get teeth cleanings and check ups after my big procedures were over and even after I moved 4 hours away! However, I moved to FL a year and a half ago so I no longer can go there. But if I ever need a major procedure done I will fly back! I hope they remember me ;) Since I left the area, they moved offices and got additional staff. I am really glad because Dr Rett would work so late into the evening helping patients with procedures. I was always so impressed by him. It is nice he has help now. He's very particular about his staff so I know whoever is there is also very good because he cares about his patients! Extra: *If you agree to the procedures, be sure to get what you want in writing with price firmly stated. I have a legal background so this ensures they don't change the terms. *Be sure to ask about the warranty on crowns or work. Mine was 5 years. I recommend them to everyone I know in that area! Because of Dr Rett and his Potomac Dental Centre team, I was able to do things with more confidence. I got several promotions at work, public speaking engagements, and just generally feel good about myself. That's priceless!

I was happily impressed with Potomac Dental, the staff helped me to feel welcomed, Dr. Logan was very friendly, and answered my questions, even explained things I was not aware of. Dr. Patel did a wonderful job with my teeth and answered my questions also. Delores, was professional in her getting me comfortable for a treatment. I was very satisfied with my treatment and the fact that they took me immediately as a first time client. This is a new building with modern rooms and equipment, very clean and bright. The Potomac Dental Center has a warm, bright and professional atmosphere. From the moment I walked through the door on my first visit I felt welcome and safe. That feeling grows with each visit. I'm extremely happy with my results. I told my hygienist Lindsey "I have fun when I come here. What's that say about me?" We both laughed but it is the truth. I trust them with my smile.

These are the nicest people. I have only had Dr. Logan the 3 times I have been there. He is wonderful, very personable, answers all my questions and just an all around great dentist. All of his staff are very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Potomac Dental Centre.
