Dr. Bawa grew up in Potomac, MD, and is a US-born Sikh, whose family is originally from India, and his values include the continual practice of sewaa commitment of selfless service to othersin the community. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from American University in Washington, DC. Dr. Bawa achieved his DDS degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC in 2013.
Upon graduating, he pursued an intense Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, where he had extensive training working with highly renown specialists in the dental field. After residency, Dr. Bawa joined a large group private practice, where he was one of the highest producing dentists.
He uses the most advanced materials and procedures in his office for all patients. Dr. Bawa enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients, including kids, adolescents, adults, and the elderly community. He takes great time listening to the concerns of each patient and developing a comprehensive yet personalized treatment plan that uses leading edge technology and advanced techniques for the best results. Dr. Bawa and his staffs focus is on prevention, and as a cosmetic dentist, he enjoys providing full mouth reconstruction, porcelain crown and bridgework, cosmetic veneers, teeth whitening, and maintaining the overall health of gum tissue while improving aesthetics. Dr. Bawas goal is to change the quality of life for his patients through dentistry.

Dr. Bawa & his staff are exceptional. Had a great experience for my first cleaning & have begun Invisalign as well. They office is impeccably clean, never have had to wait, and the front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and easy to contact as well. Highly recommend! Edit: just finished Invisalign and would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering it. My smile looks perfect! Thank you Dr. Bawa!

They don't care about new patients. I called this practice because I needed a deep cleaning, I was shopping around. They told me that the doctor will have to confirm that I need a deep cleaning, so I will have to schedule a consultation, and it's free of charge for new patient. I call the next to schedule my consultation, in the process of finding the suitable day for me, i told them that a specific day works best for me, because I have another consultation. Because I mention my other consultation, she went a flipped the whole thing, telling me that actually the consultation will cost me $150. I was so shocked, and told her how unprofessional that is, that I will go online and relate my experience with 1 star. The lady went and blatantly laughed at my face and hanged the call! I'm sorry but I find it difficult to entrust my teeth to such uncaring and unprofessional people. They're better practices out there. Thanks.

Undeniably the best dentist I have ever visited. I've been putting off dental care for a number of reasons or excuses but when I finally decided to go several months ago, to a different dentists in Largo, the experience was horrible. The oral or "biting" X-rays you take was excruciating and took forever bring tears to my eye!!! The tools the gentleman used must have been too big for my mouth?? To make it worse the pictures didn't develop so we had to do the X-rays AGAIN, only for these to not come out either!!! Needless to say I never went back and put it off my dental care yet again. Coming to Potomac Crown Dentistry my anxiety was through the roof!!!! But the moment I walked in the door I was greeted was such kindness and professionalism!!! My dental assistant, Katherine, oh my goodness, was just the sweetest and most amazing ever!!!! Not to mention she was super quick with the oral X-rays and it didn't hurt!!! I was able to relax because of Katherine. She guided me and help me understand how to better care for my teeth and explained in detail why certain methods are better than others. I couldn't help but thank God my entire visit for finding such an amazing office with amazing staff and not to mention a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere!!!! When Dr. Bawa came in, he gave me his undivided attention, explained exactly what needed to be done and why. His aura was completely genuine and I felt grateful to finally get my oral issues addressed by him and his staff. There was no question whatsoever that your oral health is important to him. It's more than obvious that he actually cares!!! Potomac Crown Dentistry has it all figured out!! Every single dentist should model their service after them!!! All the other great reviews are 100% accurate Thank you kindly Dr. Bawa, Katherine and staff. I look forward to my next visit to show my improvement thanks to you

A lovely place to get your all dental work at this place. The Doctor is wonderful and very knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly and very warm. This was my first time at Potomac Dentistry. I found the entire staff very helpful and professional. I was treated very kindly. The parking was really easy. Dr.Bawa was very thorough and went over everything and recommended me things that will help my issues with my teeth. The office was kept very clean. I am so glad i switched my dentist and now I have one that will remain my dentist for life!
