Once you are ready to join our family of patients, well schedule you a new patient exam. At this visit, we will take any necessary digital x-rays and intra-oral photographs of your teeth. This will help Dr. Wade explain what he sees and how to best move forward with any recommendations to improve your oral health. We will take the time to perform a comprehensive exam of your mouth, teeth, gums, and TMJ.
By the time you complete your new patient visit, you will be a part of the Poston Dental family. We encourage questions, comments, and concerns and are available to you via e-mail, phone, or stop on by anytime. You will always be welcome at Poston Dental!
He attended First Christian Church Kindergarten and Sacred Heart Parochial School as an adolescent and completed his grade school education at Blessed Sacrament School in 1991. He is a 1995 graduate of Benedictine Military School and a member of The University of Georgia Class of 1999. Following the completion of his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Dr. Wade moved back home to Savannah and joined his fathers practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Georgia Dental Association (GDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Southeastern District Dental Society and Savannah Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wade spends his time giving back to the Savannah community through the Exchange Club of Savannah, which includes raising money for the Jenkins Athletic Club, and donating to his church and many local organizations like the Savannah Ambucs. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Jenkins Athletic Club. Whatever free time may become available is spent with his family and friends. He is especially proud to be married to his wife Elizabeth for 15 years now and they are blessed with a 10 year old daughter, Annslee, and a 6 year old daughter Pearson.
Abby was born and raised in southeast TN where she graduated from dental hygiene school in 2014. She joined Dr. Postons team in 2017 when she moved to Pooler with her husband, Eric. She strives to provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere for our patients to feel comfortable.
Morgan started out as a Dental Assistant and then continued her education at Savannah Technical College, graduating from their Dental Hygiene program in 2015. She is dedicated to making sure all of her patients feel at ease and leave her chair having had a positive experience and loving their smile. She feels especially accomplished when she can make patients with previous negative experiences feel comfortable and happy to be receiving care.
Sade, named after the famous singer, songwriter, was born March 17 in Savannah, GA. She attended Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy and graduated December 2020 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Sade joined the Poston Dental team in February 2021.
Angie is the pleasant smile you will see when you enter our office and friendly, knowledgeable voice you will hear when you call. She has a long dental career which has enriched her with the knowledge, compassion and expertise to help answer all your questions. I was referred by my retiring dentist to this practice and my first visit was to fix a filling and it was a great experience, that was the end of the positive experience as I was told before leaving that my wife and I would be called to get in for our cleanings. Weeks passed and no one called us, I called many times, then wrote an email using their website and then after still no response I also texted their office number as it states on their office voicemail if you can't get a hold of them by phone. After deciding that it's probably just best to for me to just ask for my records to be transferred to a different practice I made one last attempt to text them and ask for the Doctor's email so I could at-least inform him of how his office is conducting business, I again was not responded to. Maybe I have a false standard but my original dentist was very responsive and would always return calls within the same business day but I guess that's too much to ask of this practice, sounds like 2-3 days minimum is needed for a response. The Dr. himself was wonderful but this just wasn't the experience I expected when my referring dentist retired and said to me "You will be in great hands with Dr. Poston's office"

Tooth ache, and appreciated Dr. Poston trying something simple to see if that helped, before referring me for a root canal. Unfortunately, it didn't work, but certainly worth a try. Did have to have a root canal. Feels great now. Tricia Windom
