Dr. Sarah Chang grew up in California but fulfilled her love for dentistry on the East Coast. She first earned her B.A from New York University before attending NYUs College of Dentistry, which is ranked the #6 dental school in the nation. Dr. Chang then completed her general pediatric residency at Queens Hospital Center and her pediatric residency at St Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she served as the Chief Resident. Currently, Dr. Chang owns and acts as the lead doctor of Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry. You can always find her in the office smiling and enthusiastically treating patients.
Although Dr. Chang has completed her formal dental education, she remains committed to lifelong learning and acquiring new skills to better the health of her patients. Since 2020, she has been researching and practicing interventions to treat frenectomies, enact myofunctional therapy, and subside sleep disordered breathing.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Chang is the proud mother of Ian (9), Joy (8), and Tim (7). While they keep her hands happily full, she also enjoys tennis, yoga, golf, and travelling in her free time. In fact, she has completed 3 mission trips to Russia, China, and Kenya.
At Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry, we believe every child is precious - therefore we treat every child in our office as if they were our own. Like our patients, Joy, Ian, and Tim are all preparing for their next steps. In July 2021, Dr. Chang performed frenectomies on her children as a preventative measure for potential issues associated with mouth-breathing and speech impediments. Joy, Ian, and Tim can also be seen in the office receiving regular cleanings, learning new hygiene habits, and testing out the newest waiting room toys.
Cindy is a dental assistant who loves working with kids. You can find her taking beautiful pictures and showing patients the importance of brushing their teeth. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and partaking in adventures with her friends and family!
Heidi is a dental hygienist. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years and has spent a majority of her career in pediatrics. Heidi enjoys giving children the best possible experience they can have at the dentist. Having good oral hygiene is an important thing to learn in childhood. Heidi finds teaching the next generation good lifetime habits extremely fulfilling! In her spare time, Heidi likes shopping with her daughter, playing with her puppy, reading books and traveling.
Julie is our Billing Specialist. She has been working in Dentistry for over 9 years and is here to help you with all of your billing questions. In her free time she loves going to see Sci-Fi movies with my husband, shopping with my friends and spending as much time as possible with my Mom and grown children.
Kamarie is our front desk receptionist who takes great pride is providing the best customer service to all perspective and returning patients and families. She enjoys getting to know the families in order to make every visit more pleasurable. In her free time, she often hikes, meditates and also shops!
Valeria is one of our dental assistants who enjoys working with kids and seeing their beautiful smiles after they complete their cleanings. You will find her constantly complimenting their teeth and finding new ways to encourage the brushing process to make it more fun and exciting! In her free time, she loves to read romance books and spend time with family and friends.
Yanira is one of our dental assistants who has been working as a hygiene assistant for almost five years! She enjoys working with children. On her free time she enjoys going on adventures with her son.

The absolute best experience I've ever had at a pediatric dentistry office, and really any dentist office. We came from a practice that had great reviews but this was an above and beyond experience of customer service. Wonderful service, thorough and on it! I'm so happy we switched!

My two year old hates having her teeth brushed because of a lip tie, all the dental staff were great and walked her through the whole cleaning with singing and smiles! Great experience and would highly recommend.

Do not take your child here for sedation or anything they're Using cheap Amazon scales that are 2lbs off to weight children for iv sedation that's a big risk . Everything is outdated and the people who work there are rude and unprofessional.

Today was my daughters first dentist visit ever, she's only two & She did better than I expected but the service was beyond amazing. The receptionist were very respectful and sweet, her hygienist was very informative and patient with my daughter and Dr. Change was great! Very professional and nice. They loved my baby & treated her so well, we loved them to! Highly recommend them. We will be back in 6months!

Update....The Dentist & Staff are still amazing! My tire was running low as I was headed to my daughters appointment and one of the staff informed me she had a portable air compressor I could use while my daughter was in her appointment! What a life saver! I put air in my tire and my daughter was treated. These people are awesome! Genuinely caring considerate and helpful! I love this Dentist! My daughter enjoyed her Appointment and looks forward to returning. She used to be nervous about going to the dentist and now she's motivated about proper oral health. She also loved the card she got in the mail signed by each staff member that was there that day! What a beautiful personal touch. I highly reccomend this Dentist!

My son had his tongue tie (frenectomy) surgery done by Dr Chang and it was a thorough experience. I was so nervous to have this procedure done, but Dr Chang and her staff made me feel at ease. They are all so nice, personable and understanding. Dr. Chang is such a professional and did an amazing job! I enjoyed listening to her own personal testimonies that helped reassure me that everything was going to be okay. I am so thankful to have discovered her practice! I will definitely be taking my son here for his dental exams in the future.

My kids love it here. Customer service is amazing . All the staff are so friendly loving and caring. If you have any questions they respond back very quickly. My two kids had to get major dental work done and after the procedure and the following day i received a text asking how my child was feeling. They are awesome here!!

My kids actually enjoy the dentist because of this place! They go out of the way to accommodate us in every way from the front desk and scheduling to the the kindness of the office manager and Dentist! I would highly recommend!

My daughter has been terrified of the dentist until I found Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry. She said "this place is amazing". I am so glad I found them and would recommend them to anyone who needs a pediatric dentist.

The receptionist and pleasantry of the place is fantastic. I want to share my personal experience though with my two year olds first experience... The dental hygienist was not great... my son had to lay in the chair for over 5 minutes while she slowly put on her gloves, pulled out all over her tools, very slowly put on her glasses and got the toothbrush ready... by that time, he was TERRIFIED (literally shaking and noticible) and did not want her to touch his mouth- while he could have been playing around the room with the toys that I brought while she got that ready. I only say this because I was looking for this exact thing. I have a dental hygienist in Macon that can do this for me and make it easier on my toddler... maybe it's worth the 1.5 he drive.

This was our very first visit. The staff and doctor were amazing. I felt very safe in the facility. The check in procedure is one I really appreciate. If you're looking for a Pediatric Dentist that takes Covid precautions seriously, look no further! I'm so happy to have found them.

I love how patient they were with my daughter's first visit to the dentist. She was nervous and they did everything in their power to make the experience as smooth as possible. Plus I loved getting the extra tips to help her brush better. Glad I found a great pediatric dentist!

Love Post Oak Dentistry !! We are new patient's to this office but they make you feel so comfortable. Char is super sweet and very helpful so are all the other ladies in the office my children now like going to the dentist !! Definitely would recommend
