Dr. Xochitl Anderton was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas where she excelled in school, graduating from Lubbock High School with Honors and on the Dean's list at Texas Tech University. She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry.
While Dr. Anderton has been practicing for over 15 years, she has been recognized for her exceptional work and leadership skills. She currently serves on the board of the Texas Dental Association and on the delegation of the American Dental Association. She is past-President of the SouthPlains District Dental Society. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Anderton has been nominated for Texas Dentist of the Year. Dr. Anderton is proud to be practicing in Post, TX where she has the latest state of the art technology that has helped her and her team successfully diagnose issues ranging from cavities to periodontal disease to oral cancer.
Her goal is to continue to provide exceptional treatment and educate her patients on maintaining optimum oral health. When not in the office, Dr. Anderton is an awesome mother of two beautiful girls. She loves to travel, read, practice yoga and help others with Spanish.
Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.
Ana Ayala has lived in Post for the past six years and attended Post High School. She attended Lubbock Dental Assistant School. In June 2018 she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She is happily married to Ben Ayala and together they have a beautiful daughter named Maiya. Working for Post Family Dentistry, Ana has assisted in many procedures which has allowed her to understand how to better assist Dr. Anderton in giving their patients the best experience. When she is not working, Ana enjoys spending time with friends and family, and visiting new places and trying different restaurants.
Isela Perez was born and raised in Post, Tx and attended Post High School. She went to Texas Careers for Dental Assisting School graduated in 2006 and now has 16 years of experience in the Dental field. Isela has 3 beautiful children and 2 nieces shes raising as well. Isela is engaged, and on her free time she loves to spend time with her family and go to the movies. Her favorite hobby is decorating events and swimming. Isela loves going to concerts and meeting famous actors.

I used to love this place, but after going here for years they suddenly stopped accepting my insurance as in-network. The desk lady waited until AFTER my routine check-up was finished to inform me of this. What should have been a routine and $0 out of pocket visit ended up costing me $50 unexpectedly. If she had told me before, I would have canceled. Now they don't accept any insurances offered by the Healthcare marketplace so I have to find a new dentist which breaks my heart because I loved this one even if her billing staff were not so nice, the dentist herself is an angel.

All the ladies at Post Family Dentistry are fantastic! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere is light and upbeat. Ana (dental assistant)is very thorough with her exam as well as letting you know exactly what to expect all with a sincere, caring attitude. Dr. Anderton is wonderful, very professional and caring. I would recommend Post Family Dentistry for all you dental needs!!!!!

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars. The dentistry was good and most of the staff were very kind and explained every bit of the process. The dentist and her assistant were very kind and so was the girl who received payment at the end. There is some male there who was extremely rude though... not only to myself but to the girl who was cashing me out. It made the experience an awkward contrast to the rest of the experience and I felt extremely embarrassed for the girl at the desk. Not sure who this guy is but he should let the girls handle everything.

They are WAY too expensive and they took 2 1/2 hours. It cost $200 to pull my son's baby tooth that the dentist said he would loose in a couple months anyway... that's not including the x-rays or the office visit!! Plus, they violated HEPA by having some random college kid in the room watching. It wouldn't have bothered me except they never even asked me if it was ok. Bad experience and in the future we will go to Lubbock for dentist!
