Today, I received the best routine 6 month cleaning I have ever had in my life!!! Shaina (I hope I spelled her name correctly?) did an amazing job!!!! She was efficient, knowledgeable and gentle.

I just finished my fourth appointment with Portside Family Dental. I had significant work done which included a crown. I've been totally satisfied with Dr. Merabi in terms of his work and professionalism. His staff is efficient, appointments are punctual, and the billing is accurate. Although going to the dentist is not necessarily enjoyable, it is nice to know you are being serviced by an excellent practice.

We absolutely love Portside Dental. Dr. Sam is fantastic as are all the good Drs. Hygienists and Staff. So blessed to have them as our Dental care team. Simply the best!

Professional, friendly, accommodating, compassionate, and dare I use a word that I seldom associate with going to the dentist ... fun! I had to have a root canal done and was dreading it, but a friend recommended Portside family dental and I could not have had a better experience! I was able to even laugh a lot with the friendly staff and felt very well taken care of. They were understanding of my anxiety and quickly put me at ease. They are also handling all the complexities of dental care during a pandemic extremely well, I felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommend Portside to anyone looking for excellent dental care. Thank you Portside Family Dental for being so wonderful!

What else could you ask for in a dental office? Portside has the latest technology and expertise, and always puts patient health first. Dr. Morabe and the hygienists do very thorough cleanings and exams, and provide relevant recommendations to improve dental health. They also run a well-organized office, with excellent staff, and they treat patients warmly as guests.

I have never once been disappointed in my experience with Portside, to say the least. The entire staff is so well-trained, and efficient, knowledgable, and amiable. Dr. Merabi is absolutely on target every time, with compassion, humor, humility, and acumen. I can never think of another place to go, and dread the day that Dr. Merabi ever thinks of retiring, because this is the only place I will go for any of my dentistry or related issues. Completely trustworthy and completely reliable, always.

I was favorably impressed with Dr. Merabi's expertise and thoroughness. I was a little chagrined that I was hit with close to a dozen x-rays as soon as I sat in the chair but understood the rationale: I was a new patient and the office wanted a baseline of my dental records. I just wish Id been made aware beforehand as I was there for treatment for a specific problem. It seems to me all the reconnaissance work should have been done after the problem was investigated and diagnosed and I had been made aware that the office would like to proceed with the x-rays and cleaning which I did not know I was scheduled for. I registered for the appointment online and might have missed what I was signing up for. If I was agreeing to all that work I certainly did not see it on the website, fyi. That said, I was due and I will recommend Dr. Merabi and plan to continue to see him.

Dr. Merabi and the staff at Portside Dental are the most friendly and flexible Dental office I have ever visited. They always will go the extra mile to fit you in, or with a plan for your dental care. They are a happy team and they care. We actually look forward to going to the dentist.

I have just returned from my first visit to Portside. I was so overwhelmed at the care, attention paid, thoroughness, cleanliness, and all around staff friendliness I found myself quite emotional, as this was my first Dr. visit since covid hit. Dr Merabi, Shana, Kelsey and Nelson - who were all part of this visit, could not have been kinder, or more helpful and willing to answer my many questions and quell my anxiety. ( because dental anxiety was real after the last experience I had when living in NYC. ) I am so grateful that this where my dental care will be provided. Honestly, you have no idea. ( can I give 6 stars? )

I was so pleased with my visit today. Kelsey the scheduling coordinator went above and beyond to coordinate both my cleaning and my sons cleaning so they were simultaneous. It worked out perfectly . It is always a pleasure seeing my hygienist Lauren and Greta was great with my 4 year old son. I'm thankful for the entire Portside team and their attention to detail.

I've moved around alot over the course of my adult life, which means I've had to change dentists frequently. Dr. Mehrabi and the team at Portside are simply the best I've encountered, so much so that even though I spend large portions of my time in New York City, I still come back to Newburyport to see them. They are caring, thoughtful, and highly professional -- as I said, simply the best.

Dr. Mehrabi and his team have been nothing but spectacular. Dr. Mehrabi was very honest with his assessment of my oral health and I strongly felt that he and his team had only the best intentions to help me. I've visited many dentists over the years and Dr. Mehrabi and his team are by far the best.
