Dr. Rooz Khosravi established PORTH Personalized Orthodontics in 2017 to offers individually tailored solutions aimed at creating precision outcomes to deliver beautiful, confident smiles to each of his patients. PORTH has two completely digital clinics in Sammamish & Bellevue. Dr. Rooz is amongst a unique group of orthodontics providing lingual braces along with all orthodontic services to all ages.
As a second generation dentist in his family, Dr. Roozs interest in dentistry began early in his life. He grew up spending lots of time in his mothers dental practice, and learning the importance of deeply caring about patients of all ages.
Dr. Rooz was trained at the University of Washington, a world renowned program in orthodontics. He holds a masters degree in oral public health and a PhD in bone biology. Less than 1% of orthodontists have such credentials, making him exceptionally trained and qualified in the field. He is also an assistant professor of orthodontics at the School of Dentistry at the University of Washington, where he teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate orthodontics levels.
Dr. Rooz is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a commitment to excellence. Dr. Rooz conducts research studies on digital orthodontics and is a clinical advisor at various companies to develop products for modern orthodontics.
It all started with a name; Personalized Orthodontics (Porth). There was that before there was anything else, aside from the dream I had to startmy own boutique ortho clinic. The name came to me before we had a space, and never I wavered from it, even though so many other things evolved over time. Because at the heart of it all, my vision was to create an experience for people.Straightening teeth is the main component of that experience, but like so very many things in todays world, the Porth experience comes with a feel that is unique to each patient.
Early in my residency at the University of Washington my wife and I went for a hike east of Seattle. (Fun fact: shes not that into hiking so I told her it was 4 miles roundtrip when it was, in fact, 4 miles each way. Im waiting for her to get over itany day now.) On the way home we stopped at Homegrown on 228th in Sammamish (how sad to see that go!) and I immediately felt something for this place. It had a small town feel, but with a diverse population and a strong sense that it was on the brink of change. This town is growing in leaps and bounds with the construction to prove it and I wanted to be a part of it. A few weeks later we were this way again and we drove up 228th where I saw a large construction site near Eastside Catholic and a TRF sign. A few seconds on google got me the name of the real estate broker, and the rest is history!

I love the staff here; Keli, Kylie and Ray are nice and make you feel so comfortable. I had never liked having my teeth worked on but seeing them at the start of my appointments made me so excited to come in. Thank you Dr Rooz and your staff for everything! <3

I highly recommend Porth to anyone looking for orthodontic care! When they say they provide customized care for each patient, they really mean it. As an adult patient on the clear aligner treatment, Dr Rooz came up with a treatment to work around my teeth implants and was also able to do a hybrid aligner and braces treatment when one tooth was not moving as expected with just aligners. There was always a quick turn around time every time I received a new set of aligners. If I needed anything (i.e. schedule changes, broken bracket, etc.), I could just text them and the team always responded in a timely manner. Porth is the definition of a modern, technologically advanced, boutique orthodontic clinic. I am very happy with the results of my treatment! Dr. Rooz, Elly, Kylie, Kelly and all other Porth team members are always super friendly and provide first class care. Thank you Porth team!

I have come to porth orthodontics multiple times with my son and daughter. Dr. Rooz and his team have one of the best setups I have ever seen, every time I have come here, Dr. Rooz has given very informative feedback on my children's oral hygiene, and has made it very clear and simple what my children have to do to maintain some good looking teeth. His team have always been helpful to help us find the items necessary, and have been extremely friendly to connect with my children. Love this place and would definitely reccomend.

Before choosing Porth for my orthodontic journery, I had several consultations with other clinics. Right off the bat, I noticed the office was clean, the staff took their time with me, and I never felt pressured to be their patient. Although they have the latest technology to create a minimally invasive and pleasant experience, what stood out to me the most was that they always addressed and answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Additionally, and most importantly, they respected my requests regarding treatment and what I felt comfortable with. The team (Dr. Rooz, Rachel, Kylie, and Chris) is amazing there, so helpful!, and felt more like friends than staff. It was a great experience and I'm so glad I chose them!

We highly recommend Porth to anyone who is looking for orthodontics care. Dr Rooz and the entire staff are very friendly, super caring and may I say go above and beyond to make sure my daughter experience with braces is as pleasant as it can be. From the office set up which feels like a boutique clinic to he technology Dr Rooz use in the practice, everything is top notch and wonderful. Did I mention evening and weekends appointment? Yes! It is a life saver for working parents to be able to get appointments in the evening and weekends. They are super responsive with any inquiries we have and any issues my daughter had with her braces. If you are looking for an orthodontics specialist, look no more, this is the place!

We've had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Rooz and the team at Porth. Every step of our journey has been clear and I feel like the team really cares about my daughter. I've found the guidance that they've provided us to be top notch and the technology that they use to assist with her orthodontia to be amazingly efficient. Can't recommend them enough!

Dr.Rooz is very professional! He always spends time answering my questions and makes every effort to provide excellent care! He is the best. First class office and amazing team specially Rachel! She is sweetheart, very knowledgeable and always make sure that I never feel discomfort while she adjust my braces! I would give her a 7 stars. Dr Rooz and team at PORTH Sammamish are absolutely fantastic! My teen daughter and myself are both being treated and both of us are using liners. I needed a little extra help with a few traditional wire brace brackets, but that was short lived. I had a terrible crooked tooth and now my smile is just about perfect thanks to the PORTH team. My daughters teeth moved much quicker than mine. The turn around time for getting new sets of liners is very fast. They are very flexible and generous with scheduling appointments and have worked together with us to find the best solution for our teeth. PORTH is very patient with the timeline. The price we were quoted was the price we paid. No additional charges. I enjoy coming in and visiting with the friendly staff!
