So disappointed in Porter Dental right now. Our daughter went in for her Invisalign treatment in January of this year. 17 years old, never had a cavity, now has 8. We blame the lack of education to my daughter, and then dropping the ball on scheduled cleaning and follow up is very sad. We have terminated our relationship with Porter Dental after paying A LOT for the Invisalign and now will be going elsewhere to see about finishing her treatment and what can be done with her 8 cavities!!! I will say the front desk staff as well as Ms. Zikara was ALWAYS a pleasant experience. Sadly, though their failure overall has caused issues, that have now changed my daughters teeth FOREVER. Shame on you Porter Dental

From the previous dentist to the current dentist this place is just bad. Avoid unless you want to have the same tooth redone multiple times. Went in told the dentist the filling cracked on the left side of my mouth. Dentist starts looking at the x rays and looking at the right side of my mouth noting she couldn't see the cracked tooth. I should have known right there and then it was going to be a problem. Two months later the filling she did fell right back off.

For a dentist I actually enjoy she is so sweet ,does a great job and works with me on having No Insurance the dental hygienist and also the staff up front are friendly Great place with quality work

I go to Porter dental because of the courteous and customer service professionalism . Maggie is very polite and exceptionally attentive to you explaining what she is going to do in detail.. I can say I actually enjoy going to Porter dental . Thank you Porter Dental !!

I had to return and update this down from a 5 star review. This was a good office years ago but now it is an absolute disaster with billing. There has not been a single time in the last two years that a treatment plan cost has been close to accurate. The last straw was a $500 plan that they tried to bill us almost $900 for. I even had them double check the insurance before we proceeded with the treatment because of all the previous problems. I don't know if its intentional deceit or incompetence but I would no longer recommend this business.

I would highly recommend this dentistry practice. I had a bad experience at another Dental office years ago and I am very anxious about seeing a dentist.

Very careful, and thorough with the semi annua cleaning of teeth. They are very curtious people at Porter Dental Center, Lockport IL.

I've been to my fair share of dental offices from moving and this one sits at the bottom of my list. The front staff are not organized or well put together. I've been told I need work done to teeth that when I've had a second opinion that was proven wrong. *edited* I do not want anyone from this awful business to ever contact me as I have had awful experiences with multiple staff members.

The people who work there are all very nice, but I haven't had the best experience. I went in December for 2 crowns. They gave me temps until the permanent ones came in. One was good but the other one wasn't so they had to have it remade. The second remake wasn't good either and I was told that they would send it to a different lab, a better lab, but it might take longer. They were apologetic and offered to give me a discount on teeth whitening for my inconvenience. The third attempt once again was not a good remake from the "better lab". I am now waiting on the 4th attempt to fix my crown. It's 5 months later. The dentist was very nice and said this does not happen, but it's questionable because this happened multiple times across two labs. Anyway, I was once again offered a discount on teeth whitening (not a full complimentary treatment) and complimentary cavity filling for my inconvenience. But if this next crown is bad again, a full refund for what I've paid should be given. I also just found out that they charged my son almost $900 to clean his gums!! And that was supposedly after the insurance payment. They told him it was upwards of $1400 regularly!! My son didn't ask a lot of questions because he's 24 & was just doing what they said so it really makes me wonder if they took advantage of someone young.

All of the staff is very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. They make sure your needs are met. I have anxiety and do not like going to the dentist. Every staff member that worked with me made sure to explain everything in easy to understand language, and gave me all options available.

This is place is awful. It started great three years ago when I started coming here and since then there's been 4 different main dentist changes, staff changes, and awful appointment and insurance payment administrative mess ups and mix ups. They need to get it together.
