This past week was my and my husband's first experience with Larry and Linda. They took my husband in the *day after thanksgiving* for what we thought was emergency wisdom teeth extraction that had been causing him great amount of pain and ended up being a root canal AND wisdom teeth surgery! They were both exceptionally thorough and kind, explaining the procedure and after care. My husband and I are both very thankful for them adjusting their schedule for us and treating us like family. We both agree we have found a new permanent dentist!

Excellent! I have been coming to Dr. Porteous for 15 years and can honestly say I will be a patient for life. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and thorough in their treatment and I can always trust that I am receiving the best dental care when I come in for a visit. From front desk to the dental chair, I always feel that the staff are going above and beyond to take care of my needs and ensure that I have the best experience possible.

The Porteous's are a wonderful family owned practice and they make you feel like family when you care a patient there. The clinic has beautiful murals and a warm welcoming feel, not intimidating like other dental practices. They have gone out of their way to be accommodating for myself and my family, squeezing us in when scheduling conflicts arose etc. They took care of my brother-in-law last minute when he was in excruciating pain and was being delayed care by another practice. They did an amazing job and he is feeling much better! We cannot express how grateful we are for their care. It is friendly, professional, and quality care, what more can you ask for?? Highly recommend!

I've been going to Larry Porteous and his family's offices for about twenty years and make it a point to return even when living hours away (while I was in college). Larry and Linda have been great at keeping my smile feeling great and they are very honest and accommodating when giving me options for the rare cavity or crown. I don't live as close to the office as I used to, but it's well worth the drive for a dentist I can trust. His son, Lance is also practicing dentistry so it sounds like I will have a dentist for life!

I finally found a dentist that I can trust in Porteous Family Dentistry in Rodeo! Doctors Lance and Larry Porteous are both incredibly thorough and took the time to make sure I had every piece of information I needed to make an informed decision on my dental care. I never felt as though I was being "talked into" or "sold on" anything. I truly felt that they genuinely wanted to do what was best for me regardless of the financial impact it would have on their business. Also, the dental hygienist, Linda, is by far the most experienced and knowledgeable dental hygienist I've ever had, not to mention being personable and awesome in general! I can finally take comfort in knowing the search for the perfect dentist is over! I would definitely recommend Porteous Family Dentistry to all my friends and family.

I have always avoided the dentist due to past experiences that have been less than desirable. As a result my mouth was in disrepair when I showed up at Dr. Porteous' office. My mind was immediately put at ease by Dr. Porteous and his staff as they thoroughly explained the condition of my mouth and the proposed treatment plan. He was extremely knowledgeable, forthcoming, and comprehensive. I had an overall sense that this was a dentist I could trust- that had my best interest at heart. My daughter is going to school in Santa Barbara, CA University and a while ago had an excruciating pain with one of her molars. Dr. Larry and Linda Porteous is our dentist. When my husband contacted Dr. Porteous they immediately went beyond and above to find any possible way to ease her pain. The prescribed antibiotics and immediately send an order to the closest pharmacy in Santa Barbara. My daughter is feeling much better and at the beginning of September we are flying her back home to visit the doctor and remove her molars. I am so pleased with the outstanding service and immediate response. Thank you Dr. Porteouse for always being there for us and our kids (young adults)!!!!! The Arnaout Family.

Dr. Larry Porteous recently work on my two front teeth which needed either veneers or porcelain. He suggested the best option for my case which was porcelain. I was so pleased with the results. I can again smile without feeling embarrassed with the space between my teeth and the receding gum line. I feel young and beautiful. It seemed like I had a face lift. I strongly recommend any one interested in cosmetic procedure to trust the practice for the best solution available. I am going to the practice for quite long time and I have referred my whole family to them as well. We are all very grateful having such an outstanding dental doctor. Dr.Larry Porteous and his wife Linda Porteous always work a great finance plan as well. No matter how high the cost of a particular dental work can be you can count that they will make it affordable for you. Thank you so much. There are no words I can express how happy I am.
