Dr. Barbara E. Karbassi has been serving the Port Orchard, WA area for over two decades. After graduating from the Wichita University Dental Hygiene program in 1987, she continued her studies at the University of Missouri School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hunt knew from the early age of 14 that he wanted to pursue dentistry after a visit with his family dentist; he was in awe of his dentists ability to help others. Now with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Hunt is proud to provide his patients with exceptional, comprehensive care. His down-to-earth personality creates a pleasant atmosphere, and his warm and welcoming chairside manner is one you are sure to enjoy.
Outside of the office Dr. Hunt can be found doing a variety of outdoor activities such as snow skiing in the colder months and biking, hiking, and kayaking in the warmer months. He is also an aspiring chef and often forages for huckleberries and morel mushrooms when the season is right. When he isnt busy foraging or enjoying the outdoors, he is spending quality time with his family and two dogs.

I like the new fence on the property to make the facility more secure. It's always nice to see smiling faces, with the mask mandate lifted. Wonderful customer service. They make you feel like family.

My experience at Port Orchard Dental Care was a very positive one. It was my 1st time there and I arrived a little apprehensive. I was put at ease immediately at reception and by the aids and the Doctor. The easy going way allayed any fears I had. Everyone was professional and friendly at the same time. It's hard to say I enjoyed going to a dentist but I enjoyed my time there with all the staff, something I hadn't encountered before.

I had a bad tooth that needed to be pulled and I had no Insurance and they where very helpful on working with me on a payment plan they where Super nice and and I did not feel a thing the DR was very good at explaining the Procedure and the Assistant was also very good at explaining the after care and the how to keep it clean I highly recommend them

I was having wisdom tooth pain unfortunately I couldn't get my left side done because it was infected but the dentist Dr hunt took out two upper right teeth it released pressure on my jaw I was very nervous about pain with the novacaine injection but the nurses and Dr hunt made me feel better I even have a follow up appointment on the 6th so I'm definitely returning I can eat now and I am very thankful I made the decision to go to port orchard dental thank you all so much

Lisa at the front desk is amazing. She has it all together and makes going there an absolute pleasure. Her customer service skills are off the hook. My schedule is very erratic and Lisa can work miracles for my last minute changes. All dental personnel who work there are very professional and treat you like a VIP. I must also mention that my gum problem has improved greatly. No cavities in the last 14 years.

I brought my elderly mother in for her first dental exam after a life changing fall. They were above and beyond helpful and patient with all aspects of her care, from insurance inquiries to a dental plan to repair fillings and crowns that were damaged due to her fall. They were extremely patient and kind.
