Went there for cleaning my teeth in April. Doctor and staff are nice. The charge is pricey. For deep cleaning they charged $305 each quarter, so $305 x 4 in total, plus the charge for regular cleaning $171 + x ray $132+ new patient evaluation $103. I have Delta Dental and paid each visit at the doctor's office with my credit card (in total $441), but received an unexpected bill (~$80) after months. Staff said it was because insurance adjustment and gave a $8 dollars discount, which I accepted. For the deep clean, the left two quarters took about 45 min for the doctor to operate. But the next visit for the right two quarters, it only took 20min. I was surprised with the difference but maybe the second time doctor had a tighter schedule.

everything about this office is wonderful! thank goodness i found them! lydia is an absolute angel,i could not have done it without her as i have panic/anxiety at the drs office dr j is the best dentist i ever had thanks

Today I went to the dentist for cleaning our teeth, this is the last time am going over there because the the person who makes appoiments has bad attuide and doesn't treat everyone the same, what a shame

FRAUDULENT. This office charged my credit card for an amount I did not authorize either verbally or in writing. They did not even call me to give me a heads up that they were going to do this and it's put me in a difficult financial situation as I have other bills that come out automatically. I really liked the staff, the doctor was fine, but I will NEVER go here again.

Best staff and the most caring doctor. The office is immaculate, appointments are all on time and they make a dentist appointment, a pleasant experience!

The best dentist I have ever been to. His work is flawless and I never have to worry about it hurting. His staff is great also. I can say they all make it so pleasant that I look forward to my dental visit.

Employees and Doctor are highly professional at Port Jefferson Dental, They welcome their patients with smiles and in case of emergency they are always adjust you and give you an appointment. I would highly recommend to anyone who is seeking professional treatment.

Went here about a year and a half ago and the experience still bothers me to this day. The male dentist was super creepy and overstepped professional boundaries by making derogatory comments about my hair. For some reason he really hated my hair style and felt the need to tell me - multiple times. The guy just would not let the subject drop. On top of that he was very rude and unprofessional, and lost both me and my husband after that day. I only recommend going here if you enjoy being belittled and objectified.

Had an amazing experience! I had a dental emergency due to a car accident and the doctor took care of me right away and made me a temporary crown until my root canal. Highly recommend.

I never write negative reviews, because I'm not one to complain, but it would be irresponsible of me, to let someone else go through what I went through. I had the single worst service experience I've ever had, With the male dentist there. Everyone else, the entirety of the staff were really kind and professional, and just excellent all around, but he was just so terribly inept it completely overshadows everything else. I went in for a tooth extraction and I should have known I was in for it, because the dentist first thing he says "are you sure your going to afford this?".. and in terrible pain I'm like what? ofcourse yes. So then after looking at my tooth, I kid you not, he starts complaining about how hard it's gonna be and how he has some place to be, it was so shockingly unprofessional. I was just so taken aback, I thought I was getting pranked, so then he starts by putting Novocaine in. And it doesn't take, so he complains again, says I dunno, it's really expensive if I wanna use anymore. So incredibly instead of waiting, he decides to just start while.. I.. feel.. everything.. I'd rather not talk about how terrible that was, but unfortunately his douchiness continued, because apart from just being a terrible human being which would have been excusable if he could do his job.. after widdling around in my mouth unsuccessfully for an eternity the douchebag decides to lie to me, and says yeah it looks like I got it all, and I don't learn how much of a lie this was until I went to a real dentist nearly a year later now, the guy left the entirety of my root in there, meaning I had to pay double because that "dentist" aside from being complete and utter tool, doesn't have the slightest idea of what he is doing, don't take a chance here. every other dentist I've ever gone to is fantastic unfortunately I was desperate at the time and in a lot of pain, so I was forced to go that awful guy.
