Very upbeat and friendly staff. Always on time. Dr Wolski is very honest and keeps a watchful eye on anything that could present itself to be a problem in the future. I have had the pleasure of meeting 2 dentists that have been helping her out and they were both fantastic.

First time to the dentist in almost five years and I'm glad I chose this place. Everyone was so friendly. I was seen in a timely manner. My dental assistant was sweet and she talked me about every step of my cleaning. Look forward to my 6 month check up

I have been a patient of Port City Family Dentistry for 4 years and have always found their service excellent. I recently needed an implant and was a little nervous about the surgery but Dr Wolske did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Wolske has been my dentist for five years. In that time, I have received the best of care. I have the greatest confidence in her decisions about my care. It's nice to be able to relax and trust the skill and competence of your dentist. I like that she carefully explains procedures and my dental care plan. I also like that during procedures my comfort is a priority. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The office itself is very charming, comfortable and relaxing. I feel that I am more than just another patient with a number when I leave her office. I appreciate the attention and professionalism that I consistently get from Dr. Wolske at Port City Family Dentistry

Dr. Wolske, and her staff are super friendly, and compassionate about their patients oral hygiene. I really like the fact she's conservative with her decisions for treatment, and her assistants really take the time to explain the procedures. I highly recommend them for cleanings and treatment! They even get crowns done in one day!

I am very disappointed by this dentist. After Dr. Wolske drained all my insurance and I paid a few thousand out of pocket for 2 crowns when I went to her office. She disregarded all the infection I had and just put a crown up there. I asked a few weeks later to come in because I was in so much pain. I was told she was going out of town and couldn't see me until the next week. I wasn't given and antibiotic nor anything for the pain. I then had to go to a different dentist, that had to send me to and endodontist and I had to pay out of pocket because Dr. Wolske took everything. I had 1 crown that was so infected it was done in 2 steps. I have 1 more I have to finish today. I am just so frustrated. One visit I went to get a cavity filled. I don't know why, but she said it would be unnecessary to get Novocain, and when I jerked out of the chair she got an attitude telling me not to move and I was being overdramatic. My mom quit going due to the same types of issues. Dr. K rushes and takes short cuts that cause real expensive, painful damage. When I first went to her I had Medicaid. After I came in with new insurance, we talked about how I felt I was treated different at other dentists offices because I had Medicaid. Dr. K admitted that some of her colleagues did that and I know she does. (From Experience). Staff is nice. I would not recommend this office. Dr. Walls, Winslet, and Lavine are the dentist's office I would recommend. Also, then have a way cheaper in house dental plan.

Saturday, I experienced severe pain due to a gum infection. I was able to reach out to Dr. Wolsey through the hotline. She was able to schedule me for an early Monday morning appointment and give me guidance on how to manage my pain. As usual the appointment went very well and I was grateful for the excellent care I received.

I started with Dr. Wolske after moving here this year. She is soooo very friendly, explains everything, thorough and you can tell she is excellently educated and experienced. Her staff is top notch: kind, understanding, and all smiles. The office has gorgeous decor, a huge waiting room with comfy couches and soft chairs, and a fireplace! Feels like a spa when you walk in. Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wolske and her practice!

We just moved to the Wilmington area earlier this year. One of the first things we needed to do was find a dentist. I chose a family dentist so that we could all see the same dentist versus one for the parents and one for our daughters. The first couple visits went well, office staff was nice, appointments were scheduled quickly. During my 9 year old daughters first appointment Dr. Wolske informed us she had her first cavity. We made an appt to come back in June for the filling. Cavity was filled with no apparent problems initially. Fast forward to October my 9 year old starts complaining of a throbbing toothache on a Monday. I scheduled an appt for that Tuesday. We go in and the hygienist takes some X-rays. She immediately points out that the filling looks "off" and says that is probably what is causing the pain. Dr Wolske comes in and says "there's nothing wrong with that filling" examines her very quickly and tells me she has molars growing in and that is the source of pain. I trust that she knows what she's talking about and we leave. Chloes pain continues to get worse and she develops a fever. I call the office back and they get us back in Thursday morning. Dr Wolske looks at her mouth again and says for the second time that she is growing molars and "it's normal". "Some kids have a harder time than others and she's essentially teething". She also assured me the fever was normal. We continue to monitor and Chloe stays in pain. Friday she starts to have swelling in her mouth. By Saturday Chloe was in excruciating pain and Motrin and Tylenol weren't helping the pain. I called Dr Wolske and let her know. She calls in antibiotics. At this point Chloes jaw was the size of a softball. Very fevered and she was pitiful. Dr. Wolske tells us to go see Wilmington Kids Dentist on Monday because she was out of town, from there, we are referred to an Endodontist because there is an abscess and my NINE year old now needs a root canal.... Fast forward to the following Thursday when we get into Endo. I will mention that finally by day 4 on two different antibiotics(Wilmington kids prescribed and additional one) swelling had gone down a little bit, pain was controllable (not all the way but better) and Chloe was feeling a little better. She still couldn't open her mouth bigger than an inch because she was still so swollen so she wasn't able to eat a whole lot. Ok, back to Endo. The following Thursday, so 10 days and 3 general dentist visits later we see the Endodontist. He is very concerned about the cellulitis in Chloe's face and immediately calls an oral surgeon. He told us that this couldn't wait, this was really an emergent case and needed intervention right away. We left his office in a hurry, headed to the ER. Chloe was admitted by pediatrics, consulted with an oral surgeon and was put under anesthesia for the procedure since she couldn't open her mouth to remove the tooth. Chloe is home now and on the mend. Dr. Wolske should be ashamed of herself. This could have been avoided. She should not see kids. Worse part about all of this....after talking to the oral surgeon and reviewing Chloe's X-rays with him, she currently has NO MOLARS growing in. Her 6 year molars on the left side is what was removed and her 12 year molar is still under the surface still developing. We were dismissed and brushed off by someone that took an oath to "do no harm". This was so traumatic for our family. We also learned the infection was likely caused by the cavity being drilled too deep and hitting the nerve which killed the tooth and caused infection to fester. The surgeon showed us on the X-ray that the infection was clearly visible on the X-ray. This whole ordeal could have been avoided had Dr. Wolske took the time to help us. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS OFFICE!

I am a patient that gets deep root cleanings and scaling for many years before stepping into Dr. Wolske's office. I would dread going to the dentist. My first visit I was surprised how well my visit went. My first cleaning I left happy with how gentle the dental hygienist was. I also left with a plan from Dr. Wolske to improve my dental care for the future. Everyone was wonderful that visit and every visit since. Unlike other dentists I did not end up with an extraordinary bill. I was also told by another dentist I needed to have work done that Dr. Wolske told me was 100% unnecessary. Now my whole family goes to Dr. Wolske!
