Dr. Jason Estep has more than twenty years' experience in the dental field. Dr. Estep earned an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Meridian Community College,Bachelor of Science in Health-Related Professions from William Carey and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi's School of Dentistry.Dr. Estep is an active member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Mississippi Dental Association. Because of his extensive experience, education, and training, Dr. Estep is able to provide excellent patient care in an effort to help every patient achieve his or her goal of maintaining a healthy, beautiful smile for life. His commitment to offering patients updated technology and procedures is evidenced in his continuous education experiences. Dr. Estep encourages his team to provide the very best possible care to each patient, every day. In his spare time, Dr. Estep enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and attending sporting events, particularly college football and baseball. He can often be found cheering for his two favorite teams, the Kansas City Royals (baseball) and the Arkansas Razorbacks (football). He and his wife, Shannon, have three daughters and one son.
Karey, a Picayune native, has been a Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H.) with Poplarville Dental Clinic for more than 10 years. She graduated from Pearl River Community College's Dental Hygiene program. Karey is passionate about helping our patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles for life, and makes it her mission to educate each patient on the importance of maintaining oral health. She and her husband, Steven, have three beautiful daughters, Sydney, Blakely, and Dylan. In her spare time, Karey is active in her church and spends time with her family, participating in her children's activities.
Shannon joined the Poplarville Dental Clinic team in May 2012 as the Office Manager. In addition to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Management in 2003 and a Master in Business Administration in 2005 (both from The University of Southern Mississippi), Shannon was an active member of the Mississippi National Guard for 16 years. She has been an active member of Poplarville Rotary Club since 2014, and a lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) since 2012. Shannon is committed to ensuring the staff is trained and ready to provide the best possible care to each patient, and that the Poplarville Dental Clinic strives to continuously improve so that we may continue to provide top notch, innovative care to each patient. She and her husband, Dr. Jason Estep, have three daughters and one son. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active in the local community, reading, and cooking.
Boofelsnoot is Poplarville Dental Clinic 's resident Therapy Dog. A rescue from the Hancock County SPCA, Boofelsnoot was adopted in 2016 by Dr. Estep and his family. He is a registered therapy dog who routinely assists with children, special needs patients, and fearful patients. His love of snuggles and belly rubs, coupled with his friendly attitude make Boofelsnoot the perfect companion for anyone who might need a little extra attention in our office. Look for him at the Front Desk, where he can routinely be found begging for snacks and investigating the age old question of, 'Who 's a good boy?' (We already know it 's him!)

super nice but the front desk didn't sent in our transfer stuff so they didn't have any of our info... had to call my other dentist if they sent it over they said they never got anything from pville asking for it. and my daughter was hoping for a new toothbrush like u usually get after ur check up she didn't get one. might have to look for a more kid friendly place. the lady we had and dr. they were super nice and friendly. just not much of kid stuff their to make toddler comfortable

The dental hygienist at this office are so thorough and gentle. Remembering my area of sensitive teeth and cleaning without the cold water of the sonic cleaner while taking extra time to polish my teeth to a lustrous shine. I absolutely LOVE going to the dentist every six months because of them. They are that good!

They pull your teeth and tell you to come back in a few months so insurance will pay. When you go back they tell you your insurance will NOT cover it! Don't you think they should check that before they pull all your teeth out!!??

It was my first ever time to see Dr. Estep and I was sort of apprehensive but I was quickly made to feel at ease. His receptionist was very cordial. I had to wait a little bit but I didn't mind. When I was called back his assistant was very nice and friendly. They had music playing which would make anyone feel totally relaxed. When Dr. Estep came in he also made me feel welcome and did a thorough exam and also listened to what I had to say. I really appreciated that too. He and his assistant did a fantastic job. I have already been recommending them to others and will continue to do so. God bless Dr. Estep and all of his staff at Poplarville Dental Clinic!!!!!

I was a walk in patient to this facility this morning. I had an emergency case where I had to have a tooth extracted. I was a nervous wreck. I was treated with the upmost respect, the dentist numbed my mouth and had the teeth out in minutes. I actually didnt even feel him pull the tooth. 100% approve this office. Wonderful bedside manner!!

To bad there are not negative stars. One star is to many! If you need actual dental work like a tooth pulled...Don't go here! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Screwed me out of $170 and did NO dental work!
